"Oh my gosh, it's so hot!" I groaned, throwing my head back against the car seat. Jason chuckled, running his thumb over my knuckles while he drove the car.

"Relax, baby girl, we're almost there."

I giggled, nodding my head while looking out the window, "I'm sorry." I smirked, raising my eyebrow at him "Am I annoying you, Jason?"

He smiled, shaking his head and kissing my knuckles "No, baby, you could never annoy me."

"Would you two please shut up with the lovey dovey shit and get us to the damn beach." Gaby whined from the back-seat of the car. I rolled my eyes, a smirk playing on my lips.

"Oh, don't be jealous, Gaby."

She scoffed, "Oh, please."

Jason chuckled, pulling the car into a parking space on the side of the road, next to the beach. We all got out, walking to the trunk of the car. Jason's other friends parked their car next to ours, doing what we did. All of us grabbed a bag and Ryan grabbed the umbrella before we began looking for a spot to sit. Jason held onto my hand, his fingers laced with mine as he pulled me through the sand. I bit my lip, remembering the last time we were at the beach, things took quite a turn to what I expected.

We came to a stop and placed our stuff down, making ourselves comfy. When I turned around, Dylan and Chaz were already swimming in the water, Gary and Drew were hitting on girls and Gaby and Ryan were standing in the shallow end, talking. Monique and another girl, who I found out is named April, were laying down on their towels, wearing their bikinis and tanning.

I bit my lip, feeling a little shy to take off my clothes, they looked great and they were built so...... Well? Let's just say they were blessed with... Ladylike assets. I felt arms wrap around my waist and lips near my ear.

"Come on, baby, I wanna take you into the water."

I sighed, turning around to face him, "Okay." I gave him a small smile "Turn around. I wanna get undressed."

He rolled his eyes before turning around. I quickly pulled off my t-shirt and shorts, leaving me alone in my neon orange bikini, before jumping onto his back. "Okay, let's go."

He smiled, running towards the water. I giggled as he dived in, taking me under with him. We both swam to the top and he smiled, placing his hands on my hips and pulling me closer to him.

"You look." He bit his lip, his eyes travelling down my body and back up to my eyes ".. So, so beautiful." He whispered, kissing me softly on my lips.

My cheeks flushed and I giggled, "Thank you." I mumbled, wrapping my arms around his shoulders and burying my head in his neck. He wrapped his arms around my waist, picking me up and I wrapped my legs around his torso. Slowly, he began twirling me around in the water. I leaned back, brushing my back and hair against the water while holding onto his neck with my hands. The sun was shining strong and directly onto the water, making me close my eyes and let out a sigh of content. This is exactly what I needed right now, just to relax.

Things have been so hectic at home with my dad having to get ready for Easter weekend and all of us are helping which is very stressful.

"You have no idea how much I love you." I heard Jason whisper, making me open my eyes to see him staring at me, a look of awe in his eyes. I sat up, my face an inch away from his, my fingers stroking the nape of his neck.

"I love you too, Jason."

He stared up at me, licking his lips and shaking his head slightly "I'Il do anything for you, baby. Anything.... Just to keep you with me." He sighed, his hands moving to under my thighs, holding me up against him. "I know that this is the first time vou've ever been in a relationship and you might not feel as serious about us, like I am. and I don't wanna scare you away or anything but I just have to get this off my chest."

He paused, a chuckle escaping his lips? Fuck, why am I so nervous?" He mumbled, rubbing his hands up and down my thighs under the water. I giggled, leaning my forehead onto his.

"Jason, just spit it out."

He sighed, his eyes meeting mine. "Remember that night I first took you out? When we kissed and I told you what I do for a living?" I nodded and he said, "I came back that night."

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion "What?"

He bit his lip, his cheeks turning slightly pink. "After I left you that night, I came back. I climbed up to your balcony and got into your room. I saw how your pillow had a wet stain, how pink your cheeks were... and it hurt me so bad, I felt this awful, unfamiliar pain in my chest when I realized that you'd been crying because of me - I sat on the chair in your room and just watched you sleep, every moment I spent with you replaying in my head, all the feelings I felt with you - I thought about it all. And that's when I realized that I'm in love with you, and I realized that I can't just let you go, I needed to fight for you, no matter what it takes."

I stared at him, my lips parted, cheeks tinted pink, eyes slightly wide, heart thumping in my chest and butterflies fluttering around in my stomach. I had no idea he did that, I had no idea he knew he loved me before I even knew if I loved him. He gauged my reaction, staring at me with nervous eyes and I gave him a soft, shy smile.

"You make me feel so special, do you know that?" I whispered, my cheeks on fire.

He smiled back at me, "You are special."

I licked my lips, kissing him softly. "I don't ever want to lose you, Jason. You make me feel more alive than I've ever felt in my life. I can't picture being without you, and I don't want to. I love you so, so much."

He bit his lip, his hands coming to cup my cheeks. "I love you too, baby girl." He gulped, looking down at the water, his arms wrapping around my waist again. "You sure that you're okay with settling for me?" He asked quietly, his thumbs circling around the skin of my back.

I frowned, "Jason. Look at me."

He glanced up and his eyes held uncertainty, I placed my hand on his cheek, kissing the tip of his nose. "I'm not 'settling' for you, you're more than good enough for me. You're all I want, nobody else but you. What do I have to do to make you realize how amazing you are?"

He sighed, burying his head in my neck and kissing my shoulder. "Just stay with me, forever, please."

I smiled, my heart fluttering and cheeks heating up once more. I nodded my head, nuzzling my face in his hair. "I'm never leaving you, Jason."

He nodded, holding onto me tighter. "I've never been so insecure about anything.... Like I am about losing you." He whispered, his chest rising and falling quickly against mine, the only thing between us being little droplets of water, his arms clinging to my body. He's really scared of losing ME, I'll never be able to fathom that. But I know that he needs reassurance and he is very insecure about this sol kissed his forehead, whispering.

"You're never gonna lose me."

...

"Iris!" My dad yelled as Gaby and I were about to walk up the stairs. I frowned, glancing at Gaby and she shrugged, following after me into the living room. My mom and dad were sitting on the sofa, Holly standing in front of them. My dad stood up, looking at me sternly.

"Iris, how do I feel about liars?"

I gulped, my eyes shooting to my mom who stood behind him with a worried look on her face. I looked back at him. "You despise them, daddy."

He nodded, his jaw clenched. "Exactly. So how do you think I feel when my daughter does it to me?"

I frowned, glancing at Gaby nervously for a second before my eyes fell back on his. "Me, daddy?"

He nodded, his eyes angry but at the same time disappointed "You lied to me and told me that Jason boy is just your friend, when you knew he was not."

I sighed in exasperation, looking over at Holly who was looking down at the ground. This is honestly too far, how could she even do this to me? After all I've done for her.

That made me feel a lump in my throat -not the fact that I was in serious trouble but the fact that my sister could betray me like this, just because she was lusting after a boy. I looked at my dad.

"Daddy. I'm sorry." I bit my lip, tears stinging my eyes. "I didn't wanna tell you because I was afraid you'd be mad at me, I- i.. I'm sorry, daddy."

Gaby wrapped her arm around my shoulder, giving me a side hug, pitching in. "He's a nice boy, dad."

My father's eyes were set on me, the anger softening up and he sighed. "I'Il be the judge of that. Bring him over for dinner tomorrow night."

Holly's head snapped up, her eyes widened in shock. I stared at him with wide eyes, my lips twitching upwards. "Really, daddy?"

He gave me a small smile, a jokingly stern look on his face. "Yes, but he better be good enough for my little girl or else I'm kicking him out on his butt."

I grinned, running up to him and giving him a tight hug. My mom was smiling from behind him, giving me a nod of her head. I can't wait to tell Jason my dad's willing to meet him.
