I felt overdressed. All these girls were wearing shorts that sat high up their butts or skirts that were so tight you could see what color underwear they were wearing and crop tops that made their boobs practically spill out or just a plain bra. I, on the other hand, was wearing my best blue skinny jeans with a white tank top and black leather jacket that Jason had bought me the other day. I clung to Jason's arm as he walked with me through the crowd, teenagers were drinking and dancing to the music that was playing through the sound system of one of the cars parked here. Jason was greeted by almost everyone here and he either: nodded in response, fist bumped them or just didn't greet at all, which would cause a nudge in the ribs from me.
We came to a stop at a shiny red Lamborghini, or at least that's what I think it was, all I know is I've seen that car on one of Adam's posters in his room. Jason greeted Chaz, Ryan, Lucas and Gary before leaning against the car and pulling me in between his legs. He wrapped his arms around my waist, kissing my forehead.
"You okay, princess?"
I smiled, nodding my head and he returned the smile before looking towards Ryan, who had called his name. I observed how his features operated as he spoke to Ryan. His jaw that clenched and unclenched as he spoke, his eyes that fluttered at a steady pace over his glowing caramel brown eyes, his kissable, pink lips that softly touched each other as he spoke, his lips that he would occasionally lick or perhaps bite down on his bottom lip, which I love to see. I let out a sigh of content, my lips tugging up in a side smile, he's mine, he's MY boyfriend. Out of all the girls he could get he chose me, why? I would never know.
He must have felt my stalkerish stare on him because he turned his head to look at me, his lips curving up into a smile as he placed his left hand on my cheek, stroking his thumb across my cheek bone, "What you thinking about, baby?"
He whispered quietly, his eyes boring into mine. I shrugged, wrapping my arms around his torso and leaning closer to him,
"Nothing much, just about.. how lucky I am that you chose me to love and not some other girl."
He chuckled before licking his lips and tilting his head to the side, a lopsided grin on his flawless face. "You're lucky? Nah, baby girl, you got that one wrong."
He shook his head, holding my chin in between his thumb and index finger, his face serious but his eyes still loving "..I'm the lucky one."
I blushed, looking down at my fingers that were fiddling with his t-shirt.
"Hey." He muttered, tilting my head up "Quit hiding that beautiful face from me."
I giggled, rolling my eyes as my cheeks heated up some more. He smiled and leaned in to kiss me softly on my lips. His hand ran through my hair, to cup the back of my head while his other arm wrapped itself tight around my waist, holding me against him. I stood on my tippie toes, deepening the heated kiss as he licked my bottom lip. I heard someone clear their throat and I pulled back, making Jason groan and me giggle at his disappointment. We looked towards the person to see Alex standing a few feet away.
"Jason, David needs you to come and bet your money."
Jason nodded, taking my hand and walking with me behind Alex, to wherever David was.
...
"You think I'm gonna win?"
I smiled, "I know you will."
He chuckled, pressing a quick kiss to my lips before pulling back and resting his forehead on mine. "You're so cute." He said, smiling down at me cheekily. I giggled, burying my head in his neck.
"You're so hot." I mimicked the way he said it. He let out a raspy chuckle wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my forehead.
"You gonna give me a good luck kiss?" I giggled, pulling back and staring at him with furrowed eyebrows.
"I already gave you five!"
He smirked, licking his lips before shrugging. "Another one won't hurt."
I smiled and kissed him one last time before Alex walked over and Jason went to his car. Alex stood with me the entire time, I held onto his arm and screamed for Jason. This was so exciting, the adrenaline running through my veins as Jason's car sped past his opponent and over the finish line. I screamed out, squealing at the same time while jumping up and down.
"Alex, he won!"
Alex chuckled, nodding his head. "Yeah, I know, Iris!"
He looked at me, his face serious, "Stay right here, alright? I'll be back in two minutes."
I was a little scared to be alone, even for two minutes but I nodded anyway, not wanting to seem like a wimp. He smiled and walked away. I stood still, looking towards Jason's car and seeing him get out. He was looking through the crowd until his eyes found mine, his eyebrows furrowed and his jaw clenched. I was confused to why until I heard someone say.
"Hello there, sexy."
I looked towards the voice and saw a boy about my age, smirking at me. I bit my lip, giving him a small smile, "Hi."
He placed his hands on my hips, catching me by surprise.
"Um, excuse me." I said, trying to pry his hands off me but he held a firm grip, taking several steps forward so he's towered over me. I began to panic and tried shoving him away "Let go of me."
All he did was chuckle in response and begin kissing me in my neck.
"Stop it!" I cried out, why was nobody helping me? Couldn't they see this?
"GET YOUR FUCKING HANDS OFF OF HER!" A familiar voice growled as the guy was shoved far away from me. Jason grabbed my hand, pulling me behind him protectively, his eyes were so scary, they looked almost pitch black as he glared at the guy. Alex walked over
and his eyes widened when he saw what was going on.
"TAKE HER TO THE CAR NOW." Jason barked at Alex and he nodded, grabbing my hand and pulling me away.
"Alex." I said, tears stinging my eyes as I looked back at Jason and that guy who were standing chest to chest. A crowd was beginning to form around them and when I heard cheering I knew they were fighting.
"Alex, he's gonna get hurt." I cried out, tugging on his arm as we reached Jason's car. Alex shook his head.
"He'll be fine."
I felt tears start to slowly run down my cheeks and Alex turned to me. He sighed, his eyes softening, "He'Il be fine, Iris, I promise. He knows how to handle himself."
I nodded, wiping my eyes only for more tears to come pouring down. I heard footsteps and I looked to the side to see Jason make his way towards us, his eyes still that dark colour which scared the heck out of me. Alex walked away and Jason came to stand in front of me. My breathing was uneven and my hands were shaking. What if he hurts me? I couldn't even see his pupils -that's how dark his eyes were.
"Are you afraid?" He asked, his voice husky and slow. I bit my lip, tears still running down my cheeks as I nodded my head slowly.
"Y-yes."
He shook his head, licking his lips as he cupped my cheeks, wiping away my tears. I flinched a little and he sighed "Baby girl, I would never hurt you, you don't have to be scared of me, ever."
He placed his forehead on mine, his eyes coming back to their normal color. "Please don't be afraid of me." He pleaded softly. I stared up at him, my hands finding his and holding onto them.
"Okay."
He let out a sigh and grazed his lips over mine. "I love you too much to hurt you, I need you to trust me on that..." I bit my lip, staring up at him, my heart melting at his words. His words were comforting and I could tell he meant them. I kissed his lips softly before nodding.
"I trust you, and I love you too."
He smiled, letting out a sigh of relief before kissing my forehead. "I should get you home. Come on."
He took my hand and helped me get into his car.
