"Alright now, remember to give that consent forms to your parents, you can't go on the trip if its not signed." Ms. Paige, our science teacher said as we walked out of our class. Rita walked up to me.

"Iris, is it true that you're dating Jason?"

I chuckled, rolling my eyes. "Gosh Rita, since when do you gossip?"

She gasped, "I do not gossip!"

I giggled, opening up my locker and placing my books inside "Wow, this was such a long day, right?"

"Yeah." She said, swinging her backpack over her shoulder. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Have you seen Gaby?"

She shook her head. "No but." She smirked, "I heard she's got her eye on a boy in her science class."

I rolled my eyes, shaking my head "Stop listening to rumours, Rita." I began walking to the front doors with her next to me.

"They're aren't rumours when she told me so herself."

I smiled, "Who's the boy?"

She shrugged "I don't know, she just told me he's in her class."

I nodded and we walked out the front doors. I scanned the parking lot to see if Jason was there but had no luck. I heard chuckling coming from my right and I looked in that direction, seeing Jason stand there with Ryan and a couple of his other friends, smoking a cigarette. His back was facing me but Ryan saw me and tapped on his shoulder "Yo', Jason." He pointed to me and Jason turned around. When he saw me, he smiled, tossing his cigarette on the floor before walking over to me. Rita gasped.

"You little liar, it is true!"

I giggled as Jason wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me up from the floor, kissing my cheek "How's my girl?"

Oh my gosh, I swear, my heart just melted into a little puddle of happiness. I smiled, m cheeks flushing as he placed me back onto my feet. "I'm good."

He smiled, cupping my cheeks and leaning in to kiss me softly. He pulled away slowly, resting his forehead on mine while holding onto my hands. "You ready to go, baby?"

I nodded, biting my lip, "Yeah."

He began walking with me and I looked back at Rita. "See ya, Rita."

She stood still, staring at me and Jason with her jaw dropped. I giggled and held onto Jason's arm as we walked to his car.

"Hey Iris" Alex said, smiling at me as Jason and I took our seats on the love seat. I smiled at him.

"Hey Alex."

He raised his eyebrows with a small smirk, looking at Jason and me, "Am I missing something?"

Jason rolled his eyes. "No."

I nudged him in the ribs, glaring at him for being so rude to his brother. He sighed, looking at Alex.

"She's my girlfriend now."

My cheeks heated up, I still wasn't used to being called that. Alex grinned, "Awesome, congratulations you two!"

Jason sighed, looking at me. "You see why I didn't wanna tell him?"

I giggled, pinching his cheeks. "Whaaaat? He's fun!"

Alex grinned even bigger once he heard me say that. Jason chuckled, shaking his head and wrapping his arms around my waist. "He's not fun, he's an idiot."

Alex rolled his eyes "Don't be jealous, Jason. Iris likes me."

Jason smirked, kissing my cheek "Yeah, but she LOVES me." He stuck his tongue out at Alex and I laughed, hiding my face in Jason's neck.

"You guys are so silly."

They both chuckled and Monique walked into the living room. She looked at Jason and I for a second before taking a seat next to Alex on the sofa. "David called, Jason."

Jason licked his lips, looking at her "What did he say?"

She bit her lip, looking at him. "You need to be there tonight."

Where? He nodded. "Alright."

She looked at me for a second before looking at him again. "Is she coming?"

He shook his head "No, it's too dangerous."

I frowned, what are they talking about?. Alex frowned, "Aww come on, let her come!"

I furrowed my eyebrows, looking at Jason. "What are they talking about?"

He sighed, glaring at the two of them. "Thank you, you fucking idiots."

He grabbed my hand, pulling me out of the living room and to the dining room, where we could be alone. I raised my eyebrows. "Well?"

He took a seat on one of the chairs and bit his lip "They're talking about this place, it's called 'Long Street', it's where some of us -gang members, go to drag race and bet on cars, win money, gamble. David is the guy who organizes all the races, so when he called Monique he was letting her know that I had to race tonight."

I bit my lip, shifting uncomfortably on my feet while looking down at my fingers that were fiddling with my t-shirt. "So you don't want me to be there?"

He sighed, grabbing my hand and pulling me onto his lap. "It's not that I don't want you there, baby, it's just that. There'll be a lot of my rivals there and I won't be with you the entire time, how will I know if you're safe? I can't put you in such a dangerous situation -I won't."

I frowned, why couldn't he just trust Alex to take care of me while he's gone? Maybe he just doesn't want me there so he's making up this excuse. I bit my lip, looking down at the ground before shrugging my shoulders, "Okay."

He frowned, "What's the matter? Are you mad at me now?"

I shook my head, still not looking at him. "Why would I be mad?"

He sighed, "Baby, come on. Don't be like that."

I shrugged, standing up from his lap. "I'm not being like anything."

He groaned, pulling me back onto his lap, wrapping his arms tight around my waist so I couldn't move. "Alright, you can come, but when I have to race you stay with Alex, you don't go with anybody else, ONLY Alex until I come back, okay?"

I bit my lip, hiding my smile, "Okay." I whispered. He shook his head, chuckling lightly.

"I can't believe you guilt tripped me like that."

I giggled, turning around and straddling him. "It's good to know it works on you too, it gets my dad and Adam every single time."

He smirked, shaking his head, "You take advantage of your cuteness to get what you want. That's not fair because I can't resist giving in to you."

I giggled, nudging my nose against his, "You lo000Ve me."

He pecked my lips, smiling at me while tucking a strand of hair behind me ear "Of course I do."

My cheeks flushed and I smiled "So.." I smirked, "What do you think I should wear tonight Something my usual innocent style or something on the side of bad girl kind of rocker chick?"

He smiled, kissing my forehead. "You'd look amazing in anything but I want you to come as yourself -as my beautiful girlfriend."

I giggled, burying my head in his neck. "Okay."
