Third Person's POV

Ari’s POV

Dad,  Charlotte, Bri, and Schwoz are in the Man Cave, and we just received the worst news.

We’re all gonna die.

There’s this volcano 50 miles below the surface and it’s about to explode in two days, which means the entire Earth will melt away.

All of us are gonna die, except for Dad and me because we are indestructible, but he’s still upset about it. Me not so much which is shocking, but I’m fine. Dad’s losing everything and everyone he love's, he’ll be alone.

I don’t wanna die. There’s still so much that I haven’t done in my life, and now a stupid volcano is going to ruin it.

Schwoz was monitoring it’s vitals and calculating when it would explode.

I heard yelling from the elevator and a large thud. I pried my eyes from the screen and looked over to see Henry emerging from the elevator.

“Hey guys. What’s the poops?”

“We’re all gonna die.” Dad tells Henry and his face falls.

“Wha?!”

“You and Ri.” Charlotte mentions and I nod my head a little at her.

“They’re indestructible.” Schwoz adds.

“Yeah I kind of knew that thank you very much.” I said sarcastically and Schwoz walked away.

“We’re all gonna die!” Bri repeats, but emphasizing Henry, Charlotte, Schwoz and her, but not me and Dad.

“Well it’s still bad for me!” Dad cried and I rubbed his shoulder. “Who am I gonna talk to when you’re all dead? I won’t have my other daughter anymore.”

“Woah! Woah!” Henry exclaims. “What is going on here?!”

“That!” Schwoz turns the monitor on and sees molten lava flowing.

“What is that?” Henry asked.

“That is a super volcano 50 miles below the surface of the Earth, right under this town.” I explained and Dad nodded his head at me.

“Oh.” Henry says. “Hey, do you think I should get my teeth whitened?”

“Unbelievable.” Bri shakes her head, in disbelief.

“Henry.” Charlotte says.

“Your teeth?” Dad questions.

“Are you crazy? Two days from now that volcano is going to pop, and you’re worried about your teeth getting whitened!!!” I say and Dad wrapped his arms around me and I calmed down, just a little. At least until Henry says something dumb, which wouldn’t take long.

“Billions of hot lava will spew from the ground and melt everything.” Dad tells Henry, approaching him.

“You mean melt all of Swellview?”

“All of the whole world!” Schwoz and Bri exclaim.

“But I just ordered a new bike online!” Henry protests, and me and Bri raise our eyebrows at the blonde kid.

“When will it get here?” I asked him.

“Next week.” He says and all of us but Henry shook our heads at Henry.

“Aw man! The whole world is going to end?” Henry asked, panicking. “Are you sure of this?”

“Does it look like we are gonna be joking about this, about the volcano!” Bri says.

“Bria is right.”  Charlotte says, and Bri nods her head at Charlotte. (Another one of Bri’s nicknames)

“Yes, Brinnie is right, why would we be joking about this?” (Bri’s nickname).

“Schwoz and Bri have been monitoring the volcano, monitoring the vibration, and doing all those calculations.” Dad mentioned.

“How much time do we have left?” Charlotte asks and Bri turns to her with her tablet that has the calculations on the screen.

Bri hands her tablet to Charlotte and she reads it, and her eyes widened when she saw how many days until the volcano will explode.

“Just under two days.” Charlotte says and she hands Bri back her tablet, and she puts it back by the monitor.

“Oh oh jeez! I gotta tell my mom, and Dad. and cousins! And everyone!” Henry panics and sprints toward the elevator, but Bri stops him by using a human magnet device to pull him back.

Henry struggles against the magnet and tries to get away, but Bri pulls him in and Henry turns to us, and is glaring at Bri and she has a smirk on her face.

“You could’ve just said, ‘Henry, come back’.” Henry mentions and Bri gives him a joking look.

“Where would the fun be in that if I said that.” Bri says and she hands Schwoz the device and he puts it away.

“‘It’s better if people don’t know about the volcano.” Dad suggested, and he picked up Stella, and she purred, in his arms.

“Why?”

“So they can spend their last two days living their normal lives.” Charlotte answered.

“Right.” I agreed, and Bri nodded her head. “Like enjoying the simple and important things.”

“Like petting their cats, and watching a good Marvel movie, and going on the internet and expressing strong emotions based on little or no knowledge of information.” I rambled on and Bri slowly nodded her head.

“I do that.” Schwoz added but we just ignored him.

“Well if I only have two days left on this Earth. I know what I’m doing.” Charlotte tells us and goes over to the snack machine. “Three gallons of ice cream and three spoons.”

“Three gallons of ice cream and three spoons.”

Charlotte pulled out three gallons of ice cream and handed me and Bri a spoon and a gallon of ice cream.

“Thank you.” We grin at her and Charlotte smiles at us.

“Oh come on, Bri, Ri, and Charlotte. You can’t spend your last two days on Earth, just stuffing your face with food.” Henry protested and I took a big bite of my ice cream.

“Watch us!” Bri and Charlotte snapped at Henry and I nodded my head at him.

Bri’s POV

“Let’s get to it, Banana! We don’t have much time!”

I walked out of the storage room in my black leotard, pink tights, and a purple ballet skirt and frowned at my father.

“Really. Why do I have to do this again?” I ask as I complained.

“I told you. I promised your great grandmother that one day I’d learn how to dance the jitterbug, and also because you don’t want to see what your sister did to me.” Dad explained and I nodded my head, at that.

“And in 42 hours, there won’t be anyone left on earth to practice with.”

“Because I’m your favorite, and I have to help you.” I asked.

“Yes, and I don’t have favorites, but if I had to choose, and since your sister isn’t around, you are my favorite. Just don’t tell her, and I just didn’t want to see Schwoz in that.” Dad nodded, gesturing to my outfit. “Now come on.” He plays the music and I reluctantly grabbed his hand, and he pulled me over and offered his hands. I didn’t bother trying to run.

“And five, six, seven, eight!”

We began to dance and it wasn’t that bad. I might want to dance sometime in the future, but I’m not sure. It wasn’t that bad. The jitterbug is fun to do, but I felt stupid wearing a leotard and tights. But other than that it wasn’t that bad.

Ri’s POV

The next day, I was with Charlotte, and we were playing a game with Stella, and each time that Charlotte or I would win we’d give Stella a treat. It was pretty fun.

“I will miss doing this tomorrow, or any other day.” I groaned a little at Charlotte and she nodded her head.

“Yeah me too! I used to not really play with cats that much but since the whole Phone Shark thing, I’ve been loving playing with Stella.” Charlotte says and I  nod my head and Charlotte won and she gave Stella a treat.

Before one of us could say anothing the alarm blared. We see Dad and Henry get shot down the tubes with their costumes on and they have sorrowful expressions on their faces.

“Where have you two been?” I asked them, and I picked up Stella and held her in my arms.

“In the Man-Copter…” Henry trails off.

“Flying over Swellview.” Dad continues. “Looking around.”

“One last time.” Henry sighs and he kisses my cheek and I smile.

Okay so here’s the thing a couple days ago, Henry said that he wanted to talk and yeah whatever, and he wanted me to be his girlfriend and of course I said yes. Yeah, it was sweet and he made my favorite food, spaghetti. It was soo good.

“Fun.” 

“Nice.”

“Hey people's look! I got membership in Muscle Works.” Schwoz beams, showing us the membership.

“You joined a gym?” Dad asked as I sat on Dad’s lap.

“Yeah.” He nodded. “I paid for five years upfront, which got me two percent off and this tank top.” Schwoz  gestured to his tank top.

“No, no Schwoz! Why did you pay for gym membership when you know that the world is going to end tomorrow?” Henry berates Schwoz.

“Yeah why?” Charlotte, and I wondered.

“You guys didn’t get my text?” Schwoz asked us.

“What text?!” Henry and I asked in shock.

“What text?” Dad repeats and I stand up from Dad’s lap.

“Well you know how I figured out that the super volcano is gonna go kaboom tomorrow?” Schwoz asked us.

“Yeah.”

“Uh-huh.”
“It’s not going to happen tomorrow.” Schwoz informed us, and this shocked us.

“Then when?” I asked, stepping forward.

“In about 17 million years.” Schwoz tells us. “I swear I sent you a text.”

The four of us shared a look as Schwoz wandered off, leaving us confused. Moments later, we all cheered and yelled in excitement. Henry kissed me and it felt like sparks going off, and I wrapped my arms around his neck and his around my hips.

“Okay Romeo and Juliet.” Dad says and me and Henry broke off the kiss, and looked at each other and smirked.

“We’re gonna live! Ha! We’re gonna live! Ha! We’re gonna live! Ha! We’re gonna live!”

There you have it people , one more chapter until Sofia. YAYAYAYAY. Also Henry and Arianna just kissed. WHOA! That happened. See you guys in the next chapter.
