"He is out of danger Haewon..."

You exhaled out heavily as if a hanging piece of sword was just removed from your head. You never had a slightest doubt that something bad will happen to him because you knew he won't leave you alone.

"Thank god.." you clutched your chest, "I knew he will be back on his feet after this nightmare." you exclaimed, sadness finally draining from your shoulders.
"Yoongi.." you turned, smiling widely at him.

"Haewon but-"

You paused, looking back at him. You saw he wasn't happy as if there was something hidden behind his worried face. "What happened Xiumin?" you asked slightly worried. "Is there something that is bothering you?"

"He is out of danger but he is still unconscious. The case was serious and Doctor said he needs to wake up before 72 hours or else-"

"Or else?" your eyebrows snapped together as you marched towards him. "Or else what?" you stood in front of him.

"It is impossible to predict then... Doctors have given their best, he had multiple fractures. They said he is responding well right from the start and his reports are okay but... he should regain his consciousness​ before 72 hours or else they cannot predict anything. They will be trying their best to keep him under observation but then he needs to get up or else something worse will happen." he sounded worried.

Your mouth went agape. "Ani.." a tear rolled down from your eyes. "He will be up.. Xiumin don't worry.. he needs to wake up.." you smiled in a silly way. Your eyes getting misty, "…he will wake up.."

You felt a strong grip around your shoulders. "He will wake up soon Haewon." Yoongi spoke, calming you. "He needs to get up.. for Jay, for you."

"He is right Haewon, he needs to get up for us..!!"

"I know." you nodded, smiled as you wiped your tears. You looked at Xiumin who had a small smile plastered on his lips, a smile of hope.

"I want to meet him Xiumin."

"Nobody is allowed Haewon. Even Ruby was asking for it. They have taken him to the observation room."

"When can we meet him?"

"I guess tomorrow. Don't worry Haewon, I will inform you as soon as they allow visitors but till then you can just go home and rest a bit."

"Do you think I can even rest?" you bluntly replied. "I cannot even breathe right now Xiumin."

"I know Haewon but then you need to go back and answer Jay. Don't be stubborn, believe me I will inform you first." he pointed out. He just wanted you to relax a bit, he knew you had already went through lot of things, you inhaled as you nodded.

"Don't worry Haewon. I am here for him." he smiles at you.

"Let's go Haewon, you need to take rest because then we have to fight a battle starting from tomorrow." Yoongi patted your shoulder as you looked at him, you agreed.

Finally Yoongi walks outside the hospital along with you. He knew it is impossible for you to decide anything and at this hour you need help.

You waited till Yoongi brought taxi for you. Throughout the journey he was comforting you by telling some random stuff though he knew it was impossible to comfort you.

It was already late when you stepped inside the house. Jay was sleeping along with Jaehwa in the bedroom, the hall was drowning in silence. You didn't change instead you landed on the couch, your eyes pointed towards ceiling. Yoongi removed his shoes and sat next to you, studying you.

"Don't worry Haewon, we have seen worse than this." you felt his cold hand, "We will endure this.." he said. "Something great is about to happen."

You raised your head as you properly adjusted yourself on the couch, "Can you see this Yoongi?" you showed your ring to him, it was the same ring which was given by Jungkook when he proposed you. "This is given by him, its pretty isn't it?" you smiled, he could see your eyes beaming. Yoongi may be a silent person but he exactly knows what is going on in your mind. He studied you, you were still shocked.

"Yeah.." he replied.

"He even called me his wife.." you smiled as you raised your head to match his stare. "He loves me more than anyone, more than himself. He said though he is marrying her but he will always look at me as his wife. His one and only.." you cried out painfully.

"Shh.." he hugged you, securing you in his chest. "He is alive Haewon, he is just unconscious." he patted your back slowly, you could feel your senses getting numb as you poured your heart in his chest, fisting his shirt. "He loves you. It's your love that has brought him back and it's your love that will keep him alive." he comforted. "Now don't cry." he released you, cupping your cheeks as he wiped your tears with his forefinger. "Why are you crying? Even Jay is mature than you." You both chuckled in unison. "..Now take a nap. You need to meet him tomorrow." he smiles, kissing your forehead. "Understood?"

You nodded smiling as you got up.

Yoongi pursed his lips as he watched you walking away. He sighed, he knew you have went through so much and now he just prayed that the lord in heaven can give you the happiness which you truly deserve.

"Need to go as soon as possible." you declared as you collected your bag.

Jaehwa was observing your movements even Yoongi was present.

"Unnie, stay put." Jaehwa gripped your arm and you stopped.

"Jaehwa, I don't have time. Jackson will be dropping Jay soon, she will start questioning about her dad and-"

"Unnie, Xiumin haven't called. You need to wait till he calls."

"Ani.. I need to go to wake him up. I know Jungkook will only listen to me." you chuckled as you walk across the room. "Give me a gun Yoongi."

"Why?" Yoongi raised his head.

"I know he will wake up when I point the gun at him. If he is stubborn then I need to show my real self to him."

Yoongi along with Jaehwa guffawed.

You waved at them, "I will be leaving."

"Still unconscious." Xiumin said, "But you can meet him now, I have requested the Doctor."

"Thank you Xiumin." you mouthed and placed your cold shivering hand on the door frame, you knew when the door open you will see your nightmare coming true, the state of Jungkook which you never wanted to see, you cannot even imagine what will happen to you once the door opens.

"Haewon, we don't have time, I need to check on Ruby and inform her as well. Pull yourself and go for it, I know he will listen to you only."
You heard Xiumin and you nodded without looking at him.

Finally, you pushed the door as you lumbered inside, machines beeping and flickering. With heavy heart you walked inside slowly, your hands dropping to your sides as you stared at his figure. In front of you was the man, love of your life lying helplessly on the bed. He was covered with bandages, his eyes shut tight. Your heart ached, for a moment you thought as if you were walking in an eerie dark room. It seems cruel for this to happen to him. Energy once you had drained out from your body. You walked towards him and landed straight on the stool placed for the visitor. Soft clicking sound was audible to you as you watch the male, his face turned pale. You eventually burst into tears, you have saved him from so many cruel things, from so many cruel men but then he eventually ended up getting on to the dead bed.

You slowly placed your hand on his hand, it was cold, you tried to be nice, soft as if he might break due to your touch.

"Jungkook..." you called him as you stifled your tears but then you couldn't hold them.

"Why are you sleeping?" you shook him a little, "Yah, get up...!!"
Your tears weren't even half done and you started feeling empty. Your shoulders starting shaking in grief as the salty liquid released from your eyes.

You cursed yourself for his condition, you felt helpless, a feeling that you hated, you cannot even help him.

"Get up soon Jungkook, I..I need you please... I just want you back. You cannot leave me alone, I cannot handle Jay alone. She won't be happy after seeing you in this condition. I am not that strong Jungkook.." you cried, muffling your groans. You knew how exactly he must have felt when you were gone, how painful he must have felt when they declared you were dead. He lived away from you thinking that you were dead. You are lucky that at least now he is in front of you and breathing, at least you know he is awake and not dead. You can feel the pain, the pain which he went through and survived bravely. You felt so small.

Just then the door creaked open, you sensed someone's presence.
"Haewon, time is up. You need to leave." Xiumin said as he looked at your small weak frame.
"Yea..." you replied lowly without even looking at him. Xiumin understood you were weak and broken. He closed the door because he did not wanted to make you feel awkward.

"I need to leave Jungkook." you got up from your place after taking a brief look at him, you started walking away from him.

You turned when you reached the door, "You can sleep for today but then I am expecting you to be awake when I come back next time or else, I won't talk to you." you muttered as you left the room.

"She is still with Jackson."

"Thanks Jaehwa, you and Jackson are taking care of her, its really helping me right now." you smiled at her.

"Of course unnie, we are family." she giggled, "Don't thank me." she nudges your forearm. You did not spoke anything as you were busy with your phone.

Jaehwa saw how serious you became, she cleared her throat as she looked at you, "How is he?"

"Sleeping, I won't be talking with him if he doesn't wakes up."

She threw her arm around your shoulders, "He will get up, he has gone through so much. This is nothing unnie."

"I know, I just want to be with him now but then.." you did not completed the sentence instead you ended up sighing. You stared at your ring for a moment and Jaehwa thought you might be thinking something, "Today was an important day for him."

She stared at you.

"It was his marriage today.." you averted your eyes at her, "... with Ruby.."

"Unnie, don't you think everything happens for a reason? this incident happened for a reason unnie, he was never fated with her. They were never meant to be together. That man tried killing you but instead Jungkook was the one who got hit instead of you. Yoongi killed that man and now you are safe, the reason which was the only obstacle between you and Jungkook itself is gone so it means you both can be together unnie..!! you have chance."

You rubbed your temple as you switched your eyes at her, "You are still young to understand Jaehwa, stay out of this..." you threw a disgusted gaze at her and got up from the couch.

"You are pathetic unnie, seriously I pity Jungkook for falling in love with you."

You stomped your feet and left the room.

"Stop thinking about others. I don't know what to call you at this moment.. stupid or too pure? You have ruined your life by thinking about others. For god sake be selfish for once and think about Jungkook and yourself. At least think about Jay."

Even though you have closed the door, you could still hear her shouting.

You leaned on the door, crying helpless. You knew she was right, you are stupid...!
