Jungkook finally spotted you, he quickly ran towards you to stop the chaos you had made.

"Haewon..stop it.. Kang Haewon I said stop it..!!" he grabbed your forearms and pulled you away from the scene.

"Leave me Jungkook, I am going to ergh-" you kicked the guy who was already groaning in pain on the floor. He held his abdomen in pain when you kicked his shin.

"Yah.. he might die." Jungkook shrieked, you were stronger than he imagined because he was having a hard time to manage you but still he tried his best to pull you away and finally, he was successful. You huffed, rubbing you palm against each other in frustration, your eyes throwing daggers at the guy who was on ground. The guy was saved because of Jungkook.

"Now go.." Jungkook shouted at him, his hand still gripping you just to make sure that you are in place. The boy struggled as he got up, he held his stomach. Thanks to Jungkook or else he would have passed out. He crippled but was successful in walking away.

When the guy left, Jungkook darted his orbs at you.

"What?" you mouthed as you pulled a face. Wrenching your hand from his grip, you stood at a distance from him.

"Why do you keep on fighting? What did he do?"

"That wasn't my mistake, he was troubling some juniors and I caught him red handed." you gazed at him who was already looking at you. His eyes went towards your folded sleeves, he sighed.

"Why can't you.." he properly pulled your sleeves to put it in place, "..just for a moment behave like a girl..?" he completed. You just witnessed him doing that, the thing Jungkook won't be doing for you, never ever. Jungkook you know wasn't like the one you were seeing right now.

"Jungkook are you drunk? or, are you ill?" you placed your hand on his head to check his temperature. He scooted backward.

"I am fine. I was just trying to tame you." he replied coldly, looking away and you smiled seeing the old Jungkook back again.

You were enjoying your moment with him just then your phone beeped. You swiped the screen and saw it was a message from Suga.

Meet me.

"Jungkook, I-"

"Ani.." he said firmly, he wasn't ready to leave you because he was afraid that you would again get involved in the shootout like the one he witnessed that day, "You are coming with me." he gripped your arms strongly.

"But-"

"Shh.." he shushed you and pulled you along with him.

"Where are you taking me?" you tried wrenching your hand from his grip. He dragged you all the way towards the entrance, "Yah.. Yah.. Jeon Jungkook… where are you taking me??" you rasped. Jungkook stopped and turned his head to face you.

"You will know.." he replied and dragged you along with him.

"Shopping is boringgggg…" you sat folding your legs on the seat watching him choose clothes for himself. Jungkook dragged you all the way to the mall saying that he wanted to buy clothes for himself and you easily got convinced due to his sweet talks. You were frustrated because you had your own plans with Yoongi and you knew Yoongi will be angry if he saw you hanging out with Jungkook.

"Jungkook..let me go…" you pouted, tucking your hair at place.

Jungkook for an instance gazed at you, "Why? So that you can go and kill people?" he almost whispered shout the last question because he was afraid that someone might hear it.

You nodded, "That's my profession."

"Profession?" he rolled his eyes, flipping his hair backwards with his fingers, "You won't be doing that thing again in my presence." he flabbergasted and looked at you as if he owns you.

"What? Wa..Wait…Yah.." you hopped from the seat and followed him as he left the store.

"A pet shop.."

"No"

"A pet shop please…"

"No way.."

"Jungkook please…i want to see the pet shop…" you pulled him towards the store.

"Haewon, no i don't want to go..hey.. stop…Haewon.." finally you were successful in pulling him inside the pet shop.

"Whoa… Jungkook see that is...a golden retriever and that's a pug and that one is hamster..whoa..and that one is munchkin kitten.. kawaii.." you ran towards the basket where the kitten was placed. Jungkook pulled a face. Never in his life he had visited a pet shop. He loves kids, nature but animals are complete no-no. He slowly made his way behind you, blankly staring at the pet animals and people around. He gulped when he saw a bull dog barking at him.

Finally he reached the place where you were seated, "Haew…" he paused when he saw you playing with a munchkin kitten. He allowed himself to dropped on his knees next to you. He was gazing at you, the scene of you playing with the kitten was alone enough for him to forget the rest. You looked at him and smiled sweetly, showing the kitten to him.

Jungkook just nodded, smiling but that was not enough for you. You slowly extended your hands towards him, "Touch it." you said, showing him the kitten.

The kitten was kind of cute but Jungkook was afraid to touch the delicate animal, he scooted backwards, "No..i am afraid." he made a face.

"It is so fluffy and soft. Touch her fur…" your hand reached out to his and you grabbed his wrist, "Come on." you forcefully pulled his hand. Jungkook was afraid at first as if blood just ran out from his face. You slowly guided him to pat its fur. He was doubtfully looking at it but then his smile returned when he saw the cute animal looking at him with heart eyes. The kitten raised its paws towards him.

Cute.

"See.. she loves you." you chimed seeing them staring at each other.

Jungkook laughed proudly, "Of course everybody loves me."
You rolled your eyes at him.

"Now come on, we are late." he said and got up from his place.

"Okay." You placed the kitten in the basket and got up, following him.

"Jungkook...see that's your long lost brother there." you suddenly stopped and pointed at something. Jungkook for a moment was confused but then he turned his head to see what were you pointing at. And it came out to be a rabbit in a cage.

"Yah.. you wait.." before he could catch you, you were already running away from him.

"Jungkook go fast, we will be late and remember no strawberry because I hate strawberry flavour." you warned him one last time.

"Arraseo." he said, walking away from you. You wanted to eat ice-cream and that's why you forced him to buy one. You waited for him at the corner which was away from the store, watching him walking away towards the ice-cream shop.

"Haraboji, two chocolate ice-creams please." he placed his order. The old man smiled before walking inside and Jungkook was left with an old lady who was sitting at the counter.

Jungkook bowed with respect and she responded with a sweetest smile.

"Young man, are you out with your girlfriend?" Jungkook raised his head to look at her. The lady on the other hand pointed towards you with her chin.

"Aa.. we are...just f..friends..." Jungkook won't be lying but even he was surprised when he stammered but then he reminded himself that it was due to the awkwardness and nothing more.

"Just friends?" she simpered, "Even my husband and I were 'just friends' during our college days." her laugh was hysterical. Jungkook played along but he wasn't able to suppress the weird feeling which was growing inside his stomach due to her statement from earlier.

"Here.." Jungkook saw that the lady placed something on the counter.

It was a chain with a pendant, a pink stone with a crescent moon.

"What's this?" he pointed at it.

"Young man, i really like when i see young couples. This is a rose quartz pendant. It helps to lower stress and tension in the heart, rose quartz clears out anger, jealousy, and resentment of others, and allows healing of heart issues and disease associated with holding on to such negative emotions. It is known as a romance stone young boy. Also, rose quartz can be used to attract love. I am giving it to you because I think she will love this gift from you." she slid the pendant infront of Jungkook.

"Be the moon in her life young man." she beamed, "Don't worry I won't be charging you for this, its just that I felt nostalgic from the time I saw you both standing over there and it reminded me of our days back then. The time when we would roam around in the evening without informing our families." She looked at you while you were busy in your own world.

Jungkook was dumbfounded. He looked at her and saw that the old lady had a most sincere smile on her face, she was growing old, her wrinkles depicted the map of her life. He turned his head to spare a glance at you, he saw you were busy with your phone. Your tensed face reminded him about the shootout incident. Jungkook was afraid, never in his life he thought he can be so much worried for someone other than himself. He was deprived of love, affection after the death of his mother. His father loved him but he was too busy due to his hectic schedule to spend some time with his own son. Jungkook never knew what caring actually means. He did had a soft corner for you but that was due to his friendship with you as he thought so. Again, nothing more and nothing less...

"Aa.. but-"

"She will love it. Rose quartz attracts love." the lady forcefully placed the pendant in his hand. He bowed one last time after the old man returned with his order.

Jungkook returned, "Here." he gave you the ice-cream cone.

"You are late and what that lady was talking with you?" You were busy but still you had your eyes on him.

"Aaa..nothing.. " he gave a wide gleaming smile and shrugged it off.

You saw him walking away with his ice-cream, "Yah..wait.." you followed.

Jungkook looked at you once, the pendant was still in his hand. He wasn't sure whether to give you or not. You both reached the campus.

"Okay then, thanks for whatever you did today." you waved at him, you were about to walk away but he stopped you.

"What?" you asked, scanning him from head to toe.

"Aa..actually.." he curled his fist, he was in two states of mind, whether to give or not. He didn't had that sort of feelings for you, even if he had then it would be sexual attraction and nothing more. He erased all the things running inside his mind, "Nothing.. bye..Good night." he said, waving.

You were little confused due to his behaviour but then you just ignored.

You left.

Jungkook gazed at you till your existences became silhouette and then you disappeared inside the building.

He sighed as he looked at the pendant from earlier.

"Rose quartz pendant." he muttered and that's how the story of rose quartz pendant ended.

Little did he know that the story had just started…
