Chills and more thrills

Akari, Rei, Y/N and Professor Laventon returned to Jubilife Village once more before heading out on their next mission.

Y/N was unsure to go along with them but Akari insisted and spend her money with Y/N. Rei was curious to where Akari got so much money out of nowhere as Akari just smiled at him before looking at Professor Laventon to answer his question.

It was early in the morning and the sun has already rose from the mountains as the light hit Jubilife Village. Luckily for them everyone was still asleep since there was no noise coming from the village right now so Y/N didn't have to worry about having to make contact with anyone.

"Hello Professor." A voice Y/N hasn't heard from in a while startled her as Y/N did her best to keep her outburst in.

As Y/N looked to who the voice belonged was none other than Warden Ingo. Unlike any other Wardens you've come across Ingo just seems the person you could relate to on a certain level.

Come on both of you fell from the same space-time rift with amnesia and having to adapt a life you weren't familiar of. Like you Ingo is a very mystery person as well but fortunately for him he was taken good care of by Sneasler and the Pearl Clan. If it weren't for Sneasler putting full trust on him to be the next Warden to serve her in the place of her previous Warden chances are Ingo wouldn't be here.

"Hello Ingo what brings you on this fine day I bet you are still training other new Survey Corps and Securities to their full potential now correct?" Professor Laventon questions.

"Indeed I have professor so far I've seen growth in each to whom they will serve as protectors." Ingo said filled with a bit of excitement in his voice.

"Ever since Ingo spent most of his time at the training grounds while giving advice to new recruits slowly but surely this builds up more defenses to our village." Akari said.

"I see so Ingo how are you so far and by any chance do you feel anything different you know any memory of who you were before?" Y/N asked as Ingo smiled at Y/N.

"Not much other than the usual outbursts I've been having since I got here lucky for me at least no one considers it to be weird anymore after getting used to it for a while." Ingo says.

"I see well I haven't recalled anything else of my past either so I guess we're on the same boat." Y/N said.

"Although I have had strange dreams about something or someone I would say."

"Like what?"

"I was in some sort of black empty space with no gravity but all of a sudden a mirror appeared and when I looked into it I saw someone who looked like me."

"Like you?"

"Well the same face and body figure but his clothes were an opposite color of mine it was white." Ingo said as he looked at the sky once again trying to remember any other detail from the dream.

"Whoever he was it feels like there is a strong connection between the two of us."

"A family member perhaps?" Y/N said.

"Could be." While Ingo was deep in thought you were also in much more deeper into your own world of what your life was before.

"Anyway we should head to Galaxy Headquarters to drop off the recent information of the pokemon we researched so far." Rei spoke as you nodded in agreement.

As Y/N and Ingo bid farewell to each other Y/N and the group went to Galaxy Headquarters to drop off any reports. Y/N is almost reaching up to rank 6th as a Survey Corp member making her the most reliable team member of the Galaxy Team.

Professor Laventon said he needed to head into his office to organize a few things regarding his research. His statement alone made Rei and Akari laugh a bit since they both know that he can hardly keep anything in place. While waiting for Professor Laventon to finish "organizing" his things Y/N decided to walk around a bit inside the building.

While she was walking around minding her own business she bumped into someone causing her to fall onto the ground snapping her back to reality.

"Sorry." Y/N apologies.

"No I'm sorry here let me help you up." The person said as he held out his hand as you took his hand and pulled yourself up.

"Say you must be one of the Survey Corps correct? The names Mani by the way." Mani said.

"Sure am part of the Survey Corp why do you ask?" Y/N asked.

"Well in my family our ancestors once lived in Avalanche Slopes and is said there once was a village in which is what I was told by my grandmother. However, there was hardly any settlement there and I'm starting to doubt if the tales are true. Do you think you can help me out and see if there any hints of a village that once lived there?" Mani pleaded.

"Sure thing I'll go investigate." Y/N agreed as she got out her Arc Phone and noted down Mani's request.

Request number 82
Traces of a Lost Village

As soon as Y/N was done writing down her next task she and Mani parted ways as she already knew what her next task is on her to do list. She went to Professor Laventon's office letting him know that she would go to Alabaster Icelands to do some research where Avalanche Slopes were.

Professor Laventon nodded as he let the other corps and security know to pack anything warm since they will be going to a cold climate. So while they were stocking up on blankets, wood and basically anything to prepare for the next mission you decide to stop by the Ginko Guild to see what they have in store.

As soon as Y/N walked out of the building noticing that the sun is already in view almost reaching up to the sky meaning the villagers will soon be up. She quickly made her way to the Ginkgo Guild to see what they have in store and get what she needs.

As soon as she has come face to face with Ginter and Tuli she felt awkward and a bit worry some but as soon as they laid eyes on Y/N Tuli gave her a small smile while Ginter just had the same expression as her normally does. Not intimidating but he is the leader of the Ginkgo Guild for nothing.

"Good morning Ginter and Tuli." Y/N greeted the two while bowing down her head to show respect.

"Good Morning Y/N and what brings you here today anything you might need we got it right here." Tuli greeted as Ginter didn't say a word.

While Y/N was buying what she needed for her next mission from buying potions to buying the full set of Sitrus berries and Smoke bomb set from Ginter. As soon as she was done shopping and before she wanted to leave as soon as possible she was then stopped.

"Y/N." Ginter spoke which surprised Y/N and Tuli a bit by his sudden voice since the man hardly ever spoke other than talk about his wares, business and any other plan he had in mind for the future.

"Yes?" Y/N said as she turned back around to hear out what Ginter has to say.

"Don't let him get the best of you even when you think he's not around he may come back. Just because you found your way in life doesn't mean life won't throw another challenge at you." Ginter said both sternly and wisely as Y/N looked at him and was shook by his words.

Like a strict father warning his daughter type of way. Before you could fall deep into your thoughts Ginter gave you a small smile as he stood up and gave you an 5 Oran berries.

"I don't normally do this but since you have been buying our wares without any hesitation I thought this would be a nice gift  for someone who saved Hisui twice in a row." Ginter offered giving Y/N the berries.

"Now now Ginter giving them away just like that you'd become like-"

"Don't even compare me to that slacker Tuli." Ginter shushed Tuli up as Tuli giggled.

Y/N smiled at the duo as she thanked Ginter for the gift and headed off to Alabaster Icelands.

Alabaster Icelands~

After riding Wyrdeer all the way to Avalanche Slopes you then began walking around the snowy hills not expecting to find anything much.

'A village that once lived here and find any sort of evidence of it's existence isn't an easy task.' Y/N thought to herself but it's not like she couldn't say no to help someone so why not take the request.

After wandering around the slopes almost thinking that there isn't any luck of finding anything connecting to any existing village you've come across two Snorunt along the way. At first you didn't think much of it until you saw something in what seems to be a book between the two pokemon.

Once you've approached the two Snorunt they quickly ran away from you leaving behind the object to you. Y/N bent down and picked up the book brushing off the snow from it.

"A journal?" Y/N said aloud as she opened the book and read aloud the pages of what was written. While some of the pages are torn and could barely make out an words you try to figure out you still did what you could to unravel what was written within the journal.

As soon as you finished reading since there was a few pages missing you're mind was already stirring up with theories of what had happened to the journalist when they wrote this book.

Before you could think of any logical explanation you noticed the two Snorunts again from a distance in which your curiosity was driven to see if they have any answers of what you might be looking for. As soon as you walked up to the two Snorunts again they both ran away from you which you weren't surprised until a wild Frosslass came along. As soon as Y/N fought and defeated Frosslass it seems though after it ran away it left behind something else.

"The missing pages." Y/N said to herself as she soon gathered all the pages together to read what was really written in the journal.  As soon as Y/N finished reading the pages of  the journal assuming that this would be evidence proving that a village once existed on this very snowy land she stood upon she then put the journal into her satchel.

As soon as she took out her Azure Flute and play to call in Braviary she stopped as she heard someone call her name.

"Y/N!"

Y/N turned around to seeing to see who it was and it just so happens to be Irida and her Glaceon.

"Oh Irida I didn't expect bumping into you." Y/N said.

"I could say the same thing to you. Then again the last person I'd expect to see in these cold lands is Adaman knowing him he wouldn't last a day living in these conditions. I bet Almighty Dialga couldn't give Adaman the time of day to get to learn to adapt these blizzards." Irida said while adding a few crunchy salt about Adaman.

"Isn't that a bit harsh of you Irida." Y/N questioned.

"A few Rawst berries is all he needs to get rid of those burns now." Irida giggled as Y/N only stared at her.

"So are you going somewhere?" Y/N asked.

"As a matter a fact yes I am I was just heading over to Snowfall Hot Springs."

"I thought you didn't like hot temperatures."

"The hot springs are a different story plus it relaxes your body if you'd like we can go to the hot springs together." Irida said.

"Alright then if you insist." Y/N said.

"Alright then let's go." Irida smiled as she turned around and lead Y/N the way to the hot springs.

Irida mentally laughed knowing how this would totally piss Adaman off. This is payback for making moves on Y/N she never got a chance to step up her game. Irida thought about spending time with Y/N would be a nice treat especially since she would get to spend alone time with her.

'Can't wait to see the look on Adaman's face when he finds out that I never go down and won't plan to have him one step ahead of me.' Irida thought to herself.

Watching from above Volo riding on Togekiss after listening in to Irida and Y/N's conversation he knows what his next move will be. His excitement slowly turning him on thinking about seeing Y/N without her usual Survey Corp uniform would be a sight to see.

In order to do that he would have to figure out a way to get rid of that pesky Pearl Clan leader without raising any suspension. Not wanting Y/N to get the blame if something happened to her so he quickly thought of an idea that would make her run back to her duties leaving Y/N alone.

'Get ready Y/N because you'll get a sweet visit from your favorite merchant.' Volo said mentally as his mind was filled with him being in control of your body.

He licks his lips and started working on his plan.
