My love
~
His hands rushed over the locks with a small knife, he didn't waste a second. I watched him, his fingers briefly brushing over my skin, sending tingles all over me every time. Once the sound of heavy chains falling onto the ground, I shot up wrapping myself around him.
His heart banging on my chest and mine doing the same to his. He cupped my face, the blood sticking to his palms, our lips finally coming together and all I wanted was to kiss him forever.
"Y/n.." he spoke into my lips, as I refused to let him go. My grasp on him ultimately loosened, his eyes meeting mine. His eyes looked shattered, hurt, dreadful though there was a clear spark of anger ready to burst into a flame.
"I'm ok." I spoke trying to reassure his worries as his eyes looked over me, though it was clear that it was not working. "Why are you here?" A sudden burst of concern flooded my heart, I was glad he was here but I was afraid of what will happen next.
"To answer a stupid question. Try again." I rolled my eyes. I could see a figure from the corner of my eye, I turned my head before I could panic.
"I know I'm your mother, but please get a room." My head shot to where her voice came from. She stood there leaning against the door frame, at first glance she looked unfazed by the situation: her body seemed sluggish, her arms wrapped around her, and her head resting on the door frame. Though I didn't need to look twice to notice how her leg was twitching, her finger nails digging into her arm as she tried to control her shaking.
Her body pushed off the metal frame and making its way towards me, each step bigger and faster than the other. When she finally reached me her arms strangled me. Warmth and fear taking away my breath, her heart pounding against my chest and she too couldn't find where her breath had disappeared to.
"Never again." She spoke muffled, her face buried into my shoulder. I didn't need another word from her to know what she had meant. I couldn't reassure her that. It was just impossible in this situation.
Once she pulled away, her eyes filled with tears that refuse to let themselves fall, I gave her a 'I'm sorry' glance before walking over to where the table was, blood stains and all sorts of blades and hammers and things that could make someone go mad by only the sight of them all laid there ready for battle.
"What are you doing." My mother spoke. That wasn't a question. "Y/n." Her voice grew stern.
"Do you remember, the last mission?" I say still focused on the tools in front of me. Silence replied so I continued. "Every man was training every minute, of every hour, of every day. Father ordered them to. His last mission, before I stopped him, the last goal he had, the last focus." I turned to face them, their faces full of confusion, "that is what Adwir wants. And as I did to that bastard, I will stop him at any cost."
"And what was the last focus exactly?" Levi questioned, my eyes swept to his; his eyebrow was raised as he stood next to my mother with his arms folded over his chest ready to hear my answer.
"There was a child." I began my eyes shifted from them to the floor. "He was said to be young, 11 maybe 12. He was powerful. Could take out 10 men twice his size." I stopped for a second as Levi's expression grew into panic. "He was from the underground and acquainted with Kenny the Ripper, so I refused to let my father bring him up here. I didn't want to risk our men, and I hated the fact we had to bring another child into this hellhole."
"Kenny.." Levi repeated his whole figure changed, he stood straight now with his hands to his sides, fists clenched, his face showing pure shock. My face scrunched up at his weird behaviour.
"Yes. Kenny the Ripper. My fathers men thought that kid was his son." I say awaiting for him to spill out what he was thinking. Silence fell around us like a deadly wave. Levi's expression changing from shock, to panic, to hesitation to shock again. "Levi?"
"It was me." He said. Both of my eyebrows shot up at his sudden found voice.
"Yes, I know your name is Levi. I thought we established that years ago, it would be too late now for a introduction." I say unsure of why he would say what he had just spoken.
"No."
"No?" Me and mother both said at the same time.
"I'm the child your father wanted. I am the kid Kenny was looking after. I am the person your brother wants." His words fell off his lips but I could not pick them up. He was the child I was trying so hard to protect so many years ago? It took me a few seconds to realise what Levi had just admitted to.
"No. That can't be true." My whole world shattered. He was the kid I had fought so hard all those years ago to make sure my father wouldn't get to. I had told myself it was my duty to make sure that child would never step into this hell, I couldn't bare the thought of it happening. Though now, as that child is standing in front of me, as he has been doing for so many years, I am now terrified.
Frozen in terror.
"Y/n.." he walked towards me trying to grab a hold of me but I pushed away, stepping backwards into the table.
"You have been right next to me this whole time. And now you are here... in the hell I swore to keep you away from." I hated myself more in this moment than I had back then. I went behind my father, my brother, my hell to keep the boy I thought I was never going to meet away from this place. But I had failed to do even that.
"Y/n... it's not your fault." My mother tried to reassure me but non of her words registered in my mind.
"Y/n we can still take Adwir out and get out of here. Me being his target doesn't change our goal." He spoke in such a calming tone that I could barely keep myself from breaking apart.
"You're right." I muster up the strength to finally speak. "The plan will continue with me taking Adwir out. The both of you will leave." I stood up from my position of leaning on the metal table, making my way to the door.
"No. I'm coming with you." Levi said louder stopping me in front of the door. "I'm not letting you go alone."
"I don't care if you allow me or not. This is not the Scouts and I will not take your orders. This is the Red Screams and as the Blood Princess and the eldest daughter you will take my orders to go back." I finish before leaving the room not letting either of them to say or follow me out.
I will finish this today.
__________
My blade sliced through his throat, blood spilling onto my hands. The guards body fell over itself on the ground, I flipped him over patting him down though all I found was a pistol. "This will do." I say unsatisfied.
I turned back to my hunt with the pistol in hand, my heart wasn't racing anymore and for some reason I hated it. I had always hated the thought of killing people, their screaming and begging were always dreadful. Though, for some reason when I had finally started to commit these devilish things it became second nature to me.
Killing a person becomes easy after a while, though their screaming still haunted me, the hatred I constantly felt growing inside me with every life I took.
I walked down halls so familiar but so new, I remember how I would sneak around the guards trying to get out into the garden late at night for a little freedom. Though this time I wasn't looking for freedom I was looking for escapement, I knew if Adwir was still around I will never escape this place.
"That bluff won't hold for very long Adwir." I stopped in my tracks, my back coming against the wall nearest to me. I had found myself at the meeting hall, Xenos speaking to Adwir with concern was a strange sight. "She's going to catch on, you are very aware of what she's capable of." He continued.
"I managed in getting her here didn't I? I think I can handle her." Adwir said confidence seeping off of him. He was always like this, thinking he could do anything and everything though not getting the chance to. I do admit he had caught me by surprise the other night, but now there's no surprises, just fate.
"Adwir-" Xenos began. I turned the corner revealing myself, I needed to get this over with already.
"Well first I think you should focus on your locking skills." I say pointing my pistol at him, his eyes widen at my sudden appearance.
"How the fuck-" He said in disbelief, he shot up grabbing his own pistol and pointing it towards me. "How did you get out?!"
"I'm the Blood Princess remember." I say walking closer towards the two, "I don't have time to chat." With that I shot my first bullet towards Adwir but he had dodged it before throwing his own bullet at me.
"So what? Are you going to kill me like you did to our father." He smirked at his words thinking I wouldn't. I smile, which took him off guard.
"Yes actually, yes I will." I turned my target towards the candle lit chandelier, my bullet sliced through the metal chain and letting the metal sculpture fall. Fire began to engulf us quite quickly. "It will be you or the both of us."

~Levi's pov~
He helped M/n up back in the covered carriage, "thank you dear." She spoke with appreciation.
"So what now?" Hange spoke up from the front of the carriage their head peeking through the cloth. "What are we going to do with Y/n." They spoke not in question. They knew neither of them would be able to get you out of that place before you did what you set yourself to do.
"She's too stubborn." Erwin said through his teeth. M/n lend a hand to Levi suggesting support for him to get in. He looked at it, his head turned back to the exit they had came out from. "Come up." M/n shook her hand for him to grab.
"No." He brought up the wooden panel that kept everything inside the carriage, "Erwin go back to HQ." Erwin turned towards Levi trying to question him but Levi didn't leave any room for discussion. "You're right, she's going to get herself killed. She's too injured to fight." With that he turned back to where he had just came out from.
He was running now, he had heard two gunshots which was where he was now headed. "Damned Y/n why do you have to be so reckless." His eyes scanned everywhere for you, guards passed him rushing towards what he assumed was you, no one payed attention to whom he was as everyone had no time to.
"FIRE? WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!" He heard yelling from further down the hall, his body flung faster towards the unknown yells.
Fire!?
He ran into the chaos, his heart stuck in his throat. There you were, standing in the middle of a garden with a uneven circle of fire surrounding you. He was there. The scar you had described him to have and the hunger of revenge clear as day despite the soot, smoke and flames blurring Levi's vision.
"This feels very familiar. Doesn't it?" Adwir spoke over the corruption. The both of you were holding a pistol pointing at one another. "So what now, are you going to shoot me?" He smirked. His injuries clear, blood spilling out of his abdomen and with a blade pierced into his left thigh.
Levi glanced at you again, your shirt had been completely torn off revealing your upper body. Fresh blood and new wounds covered the old ones, the scars from your past buried with blood and dirt. "ADWIR STOP! YOU'RE TOO INJURED. PLEASE! YOU'RE GOING TO DIE AT THIS RATE." Levi heard a voice from the crowd. He shot a look at the ginger, his body covered in blood while he held onto his arm.
"I WILL KILL HER-" Gunfire silenced the crowd, all that was audible was the infuriated flames surrounding the tragedy. Levi stared at you, your pistol aiming at him smoke coming out of the end the bullet was thrown out of. Adwir grunted, and as if it was a signal, everything began to collapse. The flames completely taking over.
Pillars fell bringing down the structure of hell, wooden pillars falling onto people around him, he watched as the hell took over. Taking out every person in its way. Levi tried avoiding the burning wood falling from above, though somehow he ended up in the middle of the war.
He was now standing, parts of him catching on fire slightly, in the middle of the fire where you and Adwir were. "You bitch." Adwir spoke with all the power he could. He was holding his stomach where blood poured out, his body had fallen to the ground.
Adwirs arm came up aiming at you, Levi's eyes shot wide, he tried to lunge towards you but it was too late. Gunshot fired. Levi watched you fall, blood spilling rapidly out of your abdomen, he caught you before your body could make contact with the ground. "No, no, no. It's ok Y/n, darling you're ok." He held you, his hand pressing onto your wound to stop the rapid bleeding.
~Y/ns pov~
Arms rapped around my dying body, blood gashed from somewhere out my abdomen.
At this rate I will die.
"No, no, no. It's ok Y/n, darling you're ok." Levi's panicked voice rushed through my ears, even in this situation his voice calmed me. "It's ok you're going to be ok." He assured me the impossible. "I'll get you out of here."
He tried putting pressure on my wound but it was too late. I was losing my senses and soon, it will be my life. "Levi... Levi..." I managed to place my palm over the hand he was using to try and save me with. "Li..listen to me..." I tried to make my words understandable through the coughs of blood I was throwing at him, yet he didn't care that he was covered in my blood. Not even a disgust look.
Only pain.
I tried to smile but the blood that spilled out my mouth probably looked like I had just smashed my face into a wall. "You are the most amazing man I had the pleasure of coming across.. so... thank you Levi.. for showing me I can be myself without being afraid." His silver eyes grew glossy and a tear started to roll down his cheek.
"It's going to be ok Levi.. I love you I always have." I brought my hand up to his face wiping away another tear. "I've loved you for so long and I'm sorry it took me so long to say it..." I coughed again this time more blood than before. "I'm sorry, I love you and thank you... thank you for letting me feel love again... thank you for caring about me even if it may only be a little. That's enough for me. You are enough for me." My hand fell from his face landing somewhere near me.
His embrace tightened, and that was the only thing I felt: his face scrunched into itself, painful tears streaming down from his eyes landing on my bloody face, his mouth was moving frustrated, sound probably spilling out but I couldn't hear anything only an annoying yet weirdly calming constant buzzing noise. His broken face was the last thing I saw before everything went black. Dying at the hands of my own brother, in the arms of the man I didn't have enough time to love before it all ended.
I will miss you... my love.
"I LOVE YOU TOO FOR FUCKS SAKE! DON'T FUCKING LEAVE ME GOD DAMN IT! Please you can't leave me now! please Y/n!.. get up..." but it was all too late, her body had gone numb and the amount of blood she had lost was too much. Levi knew that. She was gone. Though he still held on that hope, the hope of her opening her eyes telling him she's not going to leave him. But it was impossible. The love the both of them shared was, in the end, truly impossible.
"Don't go.." his voice wobbled, tears streaming down his face for what seemed like century's but it was all to no use. His cries wouldn't bring her back, his screams and yells wouldn't do anything. Though he did not have any control anymore. He had lost himself with her.
Everything around him was falling apart, as he was too. The pillars had crushed mostly everyone around him, and the ones who weren't were engulfed by the raging flames. Their screams echoing the night.
Levi couldn't breathe, not knowing if it was because of the flames or the nightmare he was living. He had lost his love, the woman he never imagined he would ever lose, now in the smallest second she was gone.
"Levi where are you!" Hange's voice was heard from the chaos, his grip tightened on her arm. "Have you found Y/n-" they stopped a few feet away from the scene, Levi holding onto her for dear life while her lifeless body drooped over his. "Oh god.." their voice shaking.
Crashing and banging erupted around them, Hange's gaze scattered around watching as the estate was caving in itself. They looked back at Levi they wanted to swoop him into a hug, let the both of them fall into a emotional spiral, but there was no time. "Levi come on." They said grabbing him by the shoulder.
He didn't budge.
"Levi please, we'll die here."
"Go..."
"What!?"
"Go Hange!" He spoke finally. "I'm not going." He refused to move even the slightest bit. A piece of wood plank fell next to them, fire burning with despair.
"Levi get up." Hange had finally managed to pull him up, they held his body, as he lost consciousness.

A bobble of sorrow and grief surrounded HQ, everyone was in mourning. They had lost one of the best captains, and some their closest friend. Erwin even considered resigning, he couldn't bare the thought of not having their right side there.
The person he considered his own daughter, though after a stern scolding from Hange and M/n, it became clear to him that the Scouts needed him now more than ever. Erwin was now the rock.
"He's been in there for almost two weeks Erwin." Hange spoke with frustration, despite everything settling down, everyone going back to their daily routines. There was one person whom hadn't, one person which no one has seen since coming back from the inner wall.
"Hange we need to give him space. Levi needs time." Erwin said, though he knew at some point Levi will have to come out of his office where he had locked himself in for the past twelve days, he feared he will never be able to see his old friend again.
"I know, but at this rate he will die of starvation." They persisted. Every meal they brought to Levi, they found hours after untouched. "I can't handle losing him too Erwin." Erwin gave them a sad look. He knew they were right, but he didn't know how to deal with this situation.
Levi was never the type to open up, and the only person that had managed to get him to talk about himself, was Y/n. Everyone was concerned about him.
~Levi's pov~
His body slumped over his chair, his hand hovering over the paper, the pencil barely touching the surface of it. His gaze searched over his office for the millionth time, landing on your desk.
It still sat there, untouched, unmoved. The pile of papers you left behind still there in an order he never understood. Your pencils scattered over the middle of the wooden table, unnatural place as you used to strictly placed them into a wooden cup that Hange had made, which had never even looked like something someone in the right mind would drink out of.
A few stacked plates, holding a few breadcrumbs, balanced over the books you had stolen from his miniature library. You had sworn to return them though it was clear you never intended for that to happen.
I love you.
His body stiffened at the memory. You told him something he has been waiting to say for years, so how could you. He couldn't believe how selfish it was for you to leave in such a way.
He stood up suddenly walking over to your desk staring at it, yet again he couldn't touch a single dust on it.
"Levi!" His body twitched at the call. "Levi please, let me come in. Please." It was Hange again, he wanted to let them in, to cry on their shoulder and yell and scream. But he didn't have the strength to. "Fine." He finally heard Hange say after a long rant he didn't bother to register.
A rough sigh escaped him but it didn't last long until the door burst open. His head shot to it, part of the lock had broken off and now was rolling on the floor towards him. "If you don't open the door, I will." Hange spoke and started to walk towards him. "You can't stay locked up in here for the rest of your sad life."
"Yeah obviously, you just broke my lock." He spoke walking towards his chair again and settling himself onto it.
"Levi... this has to stop," Hange began. "Everyone is worried, I'm worried." Hange made their way slowly towards Levi, now standing right next to his chair staring down at him, Levi's gaze anywhere else than them. "Just come out and eat something. At least-"
"What is the point." Hange was cut off.
"What?" They spoke with shock.
"She was my everything. I slept because she was there, I ate so she didn't have to alone, I read because she loved my voice. Now I can't hear hers, I will never be able to." He held back afraid of the tears pushing on his eyes. "I can't sleep without her, I can't eat without her. I can't breathe without her. I can't live without her."
"Oh Levi.." Hange bent down, wrapping their arms around his shoulders, their head resting on his. "Can you try. Sleep for her, eat for her, live for her." Levi's hand raised to rest over Hange's forearm, his face digging into their sleeve, tears staining the brown leather.
"I'll try."
But he knew that was a lie, he wasn't sure how many days he can go on. Worst of all he feared his end.
I'll see you soon Y/n.

I stared at him, his face relaxed, his eyes closed as the a strip of light marked over them. My life had become at peace, a house in the middle of a field, with a farm, and most of all my love.
His arms wrapped around me, though it felt like he was not even touching me. My fingers traced over his face, barely touching him as I moved few strands of raven hair away from his features and behind his ears.
My life had finally become my dream, waking every morning next to him. His face scrunched up, his body shifting awake. A smile creeped onto his lips before his eyes could open. "Good morning darling." He spoke softly.
His voice sounded like a melody I could never get tired of, his eyes locked with mine, the ocean clear and smooth. "Good morning my love." My expression mirrored his.
This all felt like a dream, my body weightless, his touch ghostly. "This almost feels unreal, like a dream." I smile as a small laugh leaves my lips.
His face grew cold, his eyebrows dropping as his face stiffened. Huge ocean turning into a storm, waves crashing onto each other.
"Because it is." He said now with a ice cold tone.
"What are you talking about, I'm here, you're here. This is real." I say with a nervous laugh not knowing where this sudden change came from.
"No." He said. "I'm not real."
"Levi stop." What is he on about, is this one of his jokes?
"I'm not. Y/n wake up."
"Levi please stop, this isn't funny."
"Wake up Y/n. Wake up."
"Please stop." My body began to shake.
"Wake up!"
"Stop."
"I'm not real. Wake up."
"Stop!"
"WAKE UP."
______________
My eyes shot open, my gaze searching my surroundings. My body shaking as I tried to desperately breathe. The white walls surrounding me felt like they were crashing down on me, flickering candlelight shifting the shadows in the room.
"It's a miracle." My head shot to the slightly cracked open door. "I didn't even think she would live through the first night." A strangers voice spoke.
"She's always been stubborn." My body stiffened at the familiar voice. "When do you thinks she'll wake up?"
"Oh son, I'm afraid there's a very small chance she will." The strangers voice seemed tired.
"What? You just said it's a miracle she's alive!" His voice shaking.
"I did. But if she's not willing to live she'll die." The person stopped for a second then continued. "I believe the reason she's still alive is because her mind is still fighting for something, or someone. The mind is a powerful thing."
"But-" he was interrupted by someone.
"Excuse me sir, Miss Y/n's food is ready." A soft and sweet voice spoke. "This way." Footsteps began to fade.
I began to raise myself up but I couldn't, my body felt so heavy like a titan was standing on me. A sharp pain poured over my figure, I look down at my abdomen. I was covered in bandages. My whole upper body was layered in it, small patches of blood stained the white material.
"What happened..." I try to remember but I couldn't. I finally managed to pull myself up but the pain only became worse, I placed my palm over the side of my abdomen where the biggest patch of blood was. With a grunt I shifted my body, my legs dangling over the edge of the bed.
I began to push myself up but the weight I couldn't remember gaining pushed me back, after a few tries I had finally straightened myself on my feet, though soon my hand found itself resting onto the bed frame for balance.
"I got to get out of here." I mumbled to myself. At the end of the bed sat two crates, one full of bloody and dirty rags and bandages while the other was my uniform. Well, what remained of it.
My shirt seemed burnt and I could barely tell what part of the shirt remained, my white jeans were no longer white and now resembled a pair of shorts. "What the hell.."
Bang.
A sudden sound came from behind me. My head shot over my shoulder to see what it was, and there he was, standing there wide eyed. The tray he had been holding was now on the wooden floor along with a bowl of something resembling soup while the cup was now rolling towards my foot.
"You're awake." His voice came out shrivelled and squeaky. He began to step towards me. "I'm so glad you're awake! How are you feeling? Are you hurting? Are you hungry?" He questioned me. Stepping closer and closer, as I stepped away.
"Why are you here? Where am I?" I say holding my free hand in front of me to prevent him from getting any closer. "What happened?"
"Wait, do you not remember.." he spoke with sadness now, his joyful tone had completely vanished. "You almost died."
"What are you talking about?!" He didn't answer me, his eyes avoiding me. "Xenos answer me!"
"You were almost dead, but I brought you here. And a doctor helped you. And now you're alive and awake." He said his eyes meeting mine again.
"You still didn't answer my question. What. Happened." He motioned me to the bed, and after a minute I hesitantly sat myself back onto the bed, he brought the chair from the opposite corner of the room closer to the bed and sat down.
"You finally did it. You killed Adwir. And you almost died too." My mind scanned over my memories trying to remember what he was telling me. "The estate was burnt down too, so you no longer have to worry about being hunted."
"You're still alive." I had finally looked over him, he was pretty fucked up too even if he wasn't bleeding out from his abdomen. He had what it seemed to be a broken nose and a few bruises on his face, his arm was bandaged up too as the material was peaking from under his sleeve."
"I know you may not believe me, but trust me I will not try to come after you. During this whole time while you were unconscious, I reflected on the things I've done to you. I don't want you to forgive me, never forgive me. But I will forever hate myself for doing all of those things to you."
"How do you expect me to believe that!? You stalked me, you raped me, you tortured me, you fucking used me!" I yell out. "I will never forgive you."
"I'm sorry for everything. Thats why after you recover you can leave and go back to your life, I will never come back no matter what." I still didn't believe him, but I was alive because he took me here so I can't exactly kill him.
"You're awake." A stunned voice came from the door frame and both me and Xenos shot our gazes towards it. A tall man wearing a brown suit stood in the door, his glasses hanging from his nose.
It turned out he was the doctor who saved me. He himself was surprised to see me awake as he did not expect for me to live, he checked over my wounds, asking questions I yet not had answers to.
"You remember anything from before you went unconscious?" He spoke with a stern tone.
"All I remember is being in the torture room of the estate, with my brother asking me questions." I say trying to remember anything more.
"You do know what your name is and who you are, so I don't think it's permanent memory loss." He looked over some sheets of papers he was holding. "It's temporary, it's probably due to how traumatising it was for your body to almost experience death, and it's probably still trying to process the incident."
He spoke for a little while then left me and Xenos, he suggested Xenos should tell me what happened and perhaps my memory will come back. So he did. "I remember up to where I got out of the torture room."
"Do you remember who got you out?" His question was soft and gentle which was way out of his character but at this point I didn't have enough energy to question it.
"It was.. my mother, and.. Levi..." my eyes shot wide. "Levi! What happened to him? Is he alive? Is he ok?" I frantically interrogate him.
"Your short boyfriend?" I nod. "Well the last time I saw him, he was being dragged from your body by some tall ponytail person."
"Hange." I mumble. I hoped they were ok. They probably thought I was dead and honestly so did I.
I'll see you soon Levi.
After hours of talking I had more or less figured out what happened. Xenos left a few hours ago and now I was laying down on the bed, trying to sleep but completely failing.
___________
[time skip]
A week had past, and in that week I had remembered everything, more or less: how I had gotten out of the basement, how I had gotten to Adwir, and how I had killed him. Every time I close my eyes I was reliving that moment.
"Miss do you need anything?" One of the nurses spoke from behind the door. When I hadn't answered she opened the door to see why I was silent, relief rushed over her as she watched me sitting on a chair trying to clothe myself.
"Yes, I'm alright thank you." I spoke from my position, she walked closer into the room.
"Do you need me to bring anything? More food, or supplies, or bandages?" Last night the doctor had let me know I was healed enough to leave if I desired, though I still wasn't in fighting condition.
"Umm, no, I don't think so." I say looking over my stuff that laid on the bed ready to be put away.
"I'll bring some more bandages and food just to be sure." She said, before I could protest she was gone. I chuckle to myself. Everyone here were so nice, maybe because they had to be, but it still warmed my heart. They didn't see me as a monster.
My attention when back to my boot as I tried to put it on, once I've achieved my goal I stood up carefully and walked over to the bed, well more like dragging myself over to it. I had been recovering for almost 2 weeks and with the help of the nurses and the doctor I do believe I could possibly be ready to go back to the action sooner than predicted.
Even though for the past two weeks I have been surrounded by nurses and maids I had not heard from Xenos ever since the evening I had woken up. I wasn't sad, nor even close to that emotion, I was relieved that he was keeping his promise. I was surprised he was.
"Have you gotten everything?" I turned my gaze to where the voice came from and it was the doctor.
"Oh yes. Thank you." I say with a smile, he nodded then looked over my things then back to me
"Remember you can't overwork yourself." He pointed to the two daggers I had laid on the bed.
"Yes doctor I am aware," I picked up one of the daggers and pointed it at him. "A girl needs a way to protect herself." He scoffed and we talked a little longer until I had finished packing everything into my bag. We walked to the entrance of the building.
This place wasn't a hospital, nor was it a clinic. As I had learnt no one really knew about this place other than Adwir and Xenos as according to the doctor they would drop by regularly to pick up herbs and medicines from this place.
At first I was scared to stay here as the doctor knew what I had done, but I soon realised that everyone seemed relieved I had, many nurses even thanked me. I learnt that Adwir was forcing the doctor to give him exactly what he asked and if it wasn't, well let's just say that it wasn't pretty.
"Thank you for saving me." I say. We stood outside the building, it looked like a typical antique store among the many others that were scattered across the street, it's windows displayed different types of wooden chairs that varied in sizes, different old beat up jewellery box's were holding small pearls and cheap jewels.
"I barely did anything." The doctor spoke with a soft smile. "That road leads to the central town, there might be some carriages leaving to deliver that you may be able to ask for a lift." He pointed somewhere behind me.
"Thank you." I smiled, and with that I turned on my heal and began to make my way towards the central town. I had to get home as soon as possible. I needed to.
See you soon my love.

Well hello, I am sorry for not publishing for so long, a lot of shit has been going on and also I started my GCSEs so it's been chaotic. I won't give y'all an dramatic excuse as I don't really have one, I'm just sorry for disappearing on u guys.
This chapter was supposed to be cut in two but I knew if it was you guys would absolutely kill me so here it is. I only have three more weeks of exams and then I'll be all done with school so I will be posting more frequently hopefully.
Thank you all for all the love towards my writing, I was insecure about my style as my first language isn't English and I'm also dyslexic, but thank you all for reading my story and being patient:)). Sorry for any mistakes.
I hope u all have an amazing day or night.
Vote plz.
