The lock code

Just as Shivaay and Anika thought about the lock code '1727', they were lost in their vivid memories.

*****

"1727?!" Shivaay asked her when she asked back smiling widely at him, "17th June and 27th May?"
"Yes! That's a nice idea you know." he smiled happily as he set his new password.

"You would never forget this code then!" She told when he said winking at her, "Anyway the code was not necessary to remember our important dates either!"

(A/N ~ I still didn't didn't reveal the reason behind the dates ;) Anyway you will get to know soon, till then guess!)

"He still used the same dates?! But why?" Anika questioned her own self but couldn't get answers.

The next day, Anika reached the mansion to see Shivaay watering plants in the garden.
"Woah finally he does something good to the plants at least!" She sighed, random thoughts wandering in her mind. This time she chuckled thinking "Maybe he is over watering the plants. Oh God I feel so sad for them."

Hearing her chuckle, Shivaay instantly looked up to her and that's when her smile turned into a frown.
"Sir, please don't murder those innocent plants." she said in a serious tone before leaving inside.
"Fhat the wuck!" Shivaay reacted loudly, flabbergasted at the statement she passed.

"Why did I care to even look at her! Oh god, I over watered the plants I guess." mentally scolding himself, he kicked the hidden stone in the grass only to receive back a hurt.
"Khanna!" He called out much annoyed. Poor Khanna, little did he know he was the victim of his boss's wrath.

Anika was listing out all the necessary stuff needed for the marriage. Though she wanted to spoil Shivaay's peace of mind, she never wanted to spoil his marriage. She worked professionally trying to make everything best for the marriage. She took care of every single detail, even the minute details that didn't need much attention.

Sid just came by casually and took a place next to her.
"Hey Sid!" greeted Anika warmly when he greeted back similarly.
"Anu let's go out today?!" Sid asked feeling bored sitting all day at home when she said bringing in a condition, "Only if it is a date!"
"Of course, darling!" He smiled widely at her as he nodded.

Just one overheard their conversation. His body temperature was already high after his meet with his ex-girlfriend, now it increased even more.
"They don't leave a chance to flirt with each other! Crazy people." He muttered under his breath. That's when realization struck him, "What's wrong with you Shivaay! Let them do whatever they want" he thought to himself but his heart didn't accept at all.

Shivaay stood in front of them now just to interrupt them.
"Hey Shiv..." Sid greeted cheerfully when Anika and Shivaay lock their eyes instantly.
"Hey Shivaay baby!" someone else greeted him bringing him back to the real world. Soon he was hugged by a girl much to Sid's irritation. (A/N ~ Note it, it was Sid who was irritated and not Anika. 😂)

"Shivaay if I call you Shiv, you have a problem but if some random girl calls you baby, you don't mind is it?!" He huffed in anger.
"Not random brother! She is my fiance, my to be wife." he said holding the girl closely to him and eyeing his ex-girlfriend every now and then.

Tia Chopra

"Hey Anika what a surprise!" The girl greeted while Anika greeted back much flabbergasted, "Hey hi Tia. It's indeed a surprise!"
"It's been years since we met." she said to which Anika smiled in response.
"Baby you never told me about Anika these days?!" She asked Shivaay, overreacting.
"That wasn't necessary!" He told casually and she spoke back, "I met Anika sometime during college. I thought it would be our last meet but thank god I found her back."

(A/N ~ Tia was one among ShivIka's classmates during college.)

Anika faked a smile and left from there excusing herself to attend an imaginary call. She texted to one of the most important contacts in her call list,
"What the hell. How can Shivaay marry Tia?!"

"Shivaay is destined to be hers but don't you worry, let's change the destiny ;)"

"No need. Shivaay baby is only perfect for him! I don't mind him marrying anyone! His life, his choice." She messaged back not very much interested.

She quickly sipped her espresso and got back to work. Very soon, she got a call from the wedding card designers and without any other choice, she had to leave to Shivaay's room to meet him.

Shivaay's room ~

"Shivaay baby aren't you excited for our wedding?!" Tia asked curiously flinging her hands around his neck. Before he could answer, Anika entered the room. Seeing them, she quickly looked the other way around.

"What do you want Anika?!" Shivaay asked composing his position away from Tia.
"Umm... I'm actually sorry sir but I just wanted to discuss regarding the wedding card designs." Anika said still not looking at them.
"Oh Anika, you can look around here. You anyway spoiled our moment!" Tia spoke dramatically when Shivaay said looking at his wedding planner, "Go on further."

"Yug Creations team is coming to Oberoi mansion within an hour. So I want you both to select your wedding card design." Anika said, her heart feeling uneasy at the moment.
"Thank God! You came up with some good news at least." Tia said annoying Anika,"Tia, I really didn't want to disturb you guys but this was necessary."
"No Anika don't get offended. I'm just excited about my marriage with Shivaay baby. Anyway just remember, next time you enter Shivaay's room do knock for permission." Tia said in the sweetest tone possible.

"Tia, you don't worry about that. I can take care of my own matters! I'm sure it was urgent for Ms.Anika to come right away!" he said not really pleased with Tia. He continued further turning to Anika,"Ms.Anika, we'll join them in a while! You may go now."

Anika left the room but she was so lost in her own thoughts that she didn't see Sid coming her way.
"Woah Anu watch out." Sid almost screamed at her but she didn't react, much to his surprise.
"Why was he supporting me!" This was the only question floating in her mind.
