Her Secret Boyfriend

It was very soon the day of reunion. At four in the evening, "Bhai when are you coming!?" Rudra asked Shivaay over the phone when he answered back, "Rudy! I will reach in fifteen minutes exactly."
"Are you sure?!" Rudra asked rolling his eyes  impatiently and this question definitely made Shivaay remember her.

"Anu, are you sure?!" Shivaay asked Anika when she flung her hands around his shoulder saying, "Waiting for your loved ones isn't difficult Shiv!"
Realizing what she said, she said back again "So basically waiting for my boyfriend doesn't matter much! You go else it would become late for you."
"But Anu my special class is for two hours." protested Shivaay.
"Two hours or two hundred years doesn't matter to me! Go now." saying she pushed him inside the classroom block.

Soon his car halted in front of a huge bungalow. Greeting his gang was the best part of all after five long years. Just then he noticed backpacks stacked to one corner and he asked out of curiosity, "What's all the luggage for?!"

"A surprise for you!" Mallika exclaimed when he rolled his eyes, "Hope it wouldn't be a shock!"
"We are off to Lonavala." his gang told in unison, very much excited about their plan.
"What!" exclaimed Shivaay in shock and told sternly as he continued "I'm not coming!"

"Yaar Shivaay don't be a spoilsport! You are coming and that's final." Om said when Shivaay said, "But I have..."
"Don't say you have office because tomorrow is a Sunday." Gauri said smirking and Shivaay had no other excuse to make.

Fate had some other plan for him. He remained silent while the others were still looking towards the gate.
"Now what is it that you are all looking for?! Can we just finish this off soon?" Shivaay asked when Rudra told, "This is not a business meeting to finish off soon Bhai!"
"

Rudy is right. Five years Shivaay! Five long years! You never ever came to meet us." Mallika complained emphasizing the number of years to him and he fell silent not wanting to hurt his friends anymore.
"Sorry!" He uttered when she sighed, "At least you were kind of active in our conversations. But Anu! She wasn't even a part of us all these years."

Just when Mallika uttered her name, Shivaay excused himself to make a call avoiding the girl's thoughts his friend was talking about. As he left, the rest heard another car sound approaching towards the gate.

"Why should I upset my friends just because of that random guy!" Anika thought to herself, the last two words digging her heart deep.
"Thank god he's not coming. Mallika messaged me that he wouldn't come for this reunion." she sighed as she drove her car slowly towards the bungalow.

She was still hesitant about her decision but when she felt the pain in her friend's voice just because of her, she felt broken. She thought it wasn't right from her side to hurt the ones who loved her the most. Stopping her car engine, she got down only to get everything at the same time; hugs, kisses, scoldings, concern and what not from her friends.

"Anu!" Rudra cried in happiness hugging her while she reciprocated back with the same feeling.
"Rudy!" She called out to him silently sobbing for hurting him and the rest for all these years.
"I'm sorry guys!" She managed to say when Gauri told seriously, "You should be sorry, Anu!"
She remained silent while Gauri continued, "You know how much I missed you?! More than anyone." she said as she always felt Anika like her sibling. A hug from Anika was the best medicine for everyone. Finally they were happy that their gang was complete.

"We are off to Lonavala." Gauri exclaimed in exuberance when Anika said, "Mallika you didn't tell me about this! And how can I come? I have..."
"You also have office on a Sunday?!" Om asked chuckling.
"Also means?! Who else..." She was about to post her question but her breath hitched the second she saw someone whom she didn't want to see her entire life. The second their eyes locked, a flash of all their moments were running within them provoking them to hug each other tightly but one memory spoilt their desire.

Breaking their eye lock, Anika glared at Mallika for lying to her while she hid behind the boys.
"Bhai look Anu has come finally!" Rudra exclaimed in excitement when Shivaay didn't react at all. Taking baby steps, Mallika reached out to Anika whispering, "Oye I don't know what is wrong with you both! Make things clear between you two. We miss your nok jhok yaar." she finished saying when Anika thought,"There is nothing to get cleared between us Mallika! He is a random guy to me!"

Her heart cribbed when she thought of him as an unknown while she plastered a smile on her face just to make sure no one noticed her emotions.
"Hi Mr.Shivaay Singh Oberoi!" Anika forwarded her hand as though he was some stranger to her.
"Hi Miss.Mehra" he said back extending his hand.
"Miss.Anika would be better!" She said withdrawing her hand back at the instant she felt his touch.

"Woah woah this is a way too formal." Om said rolling his eyes when Shivaay replied bringing in his big fat attitude, the so called 'Tadi', "It's better to be professional!"
"You both don't have a professional relationship Shivaay!" Mallika spoke annoyed with both her friends who were behaving strangely.

"Can we start instead of wasting time here?!" Shivaay asked controlling his anger on someone's presence there.
"Finally off to Lonavala!" hollered everyone in anticipation except Shivaay and Anika who just turned away from facing each other but little did they know how fate was eyeing on them to play a beautiful game.
