Recap: Chandru's mother passes away.

Mithra closed her mouth in shock and Kavitha, Shylaja were quick by her side rubbing her back to calm her down.

Mithra: She was fine yesterday when we spoke to her Goutham. How could she ?

Goutham: We need to be there for her now. Chandru and Nithya need us.

Mithra: What are we waiting for ? Lets go, also call Nithya's parents and let them travel with us.

Goutham: Mithra, I will leave with everyone and it is not good for you to travel now. Kavi maa will stay here to take care of you.

Mithra: Chandru and Nithya need us and how can I stay here. No, I m coming.

Shylaja: Mithra, Listen to Goutham. Its not safe for you to travel. We will back after finishing her final rites. Even Chandru and Nithya will return with us. 

Shylaja and Kavitha left the room and Goutham wiped her tears pulling her to his embrace. 

Mithra: Chandru doesn't deserve so much pain in his life. He was happy that finally everything positive things are happening in his life. Aunty was happy for his marriage. This shouldn't have happened.

Goutham: Stay strong Mithra. I will be back by tomorrow and you need to eat and sleep on time until I m back. Rehman will also stay here in the guest room and if you need anything he will get you. Just promise me that you will not leave this room and if you wanted to go to garden or terrace inform Rehman he will take you.

Mithra hummed and Goutham kissed her forehead and left the room. He saw Rehman waiting and called him to his study.

Goutham: Something is amiss with aunt's death. Inform Bala to send someone to find out what went wrong all of a sudden. Take care of Mithra and don't let her the room alone.

Rehman: Boss, you need not worry about Mithra. She is my sister and I will take care of her with my life. Chandru needs you so you should leave already.

They both came out and Goutham saw Mithra in the living with Kavitha. Ravi, Shylaja and Goutham left after informing Kavitha to take care of Mithra.

Chandru and Nithya reached the hospital and saw his mother's body placed in the mortuary. Both Chandru and Nithya broke down seeing her lifeless body. They waited for the paperworks to be completed to take her body from the hospital. Goutham, Ravi, Shylaja and Nithya's parents arrived at the farmhouse in kodaikanal and saw Chandru and Nithya sobbing next to his mother's body. Chandru's father had arrived but none of them spoke to him and avoided him as plague.

Goutham took care of all the arrangements and the final rites was done by Chandru.  Next day morning Goutham saw Nithya sitting in the lawn and called her.

Goutham: Where is Chandru, did he eat something ?

Nithya: He is in his mother's room since he returned from the cremation ground. He refused to even drink water. He is completely broken and I myself couldn't accept that she is no more so how will I convince him. 

Goutham: Go pack your things we will leave from here. I will look at Chandru.

Goutham entered the room and saw Chandru sleeping on the bed holding his mother's saree. He sat next to him and patted his head slowly. Chandru woke up and sat leaning on the headboard.

Goutham: Aunty did everything in her life only to see you happy in your life. She will never be happy to see you like this. She hasn't left us Chandru, she lives with us in our memories. 

Chandru: She was so happy to see my marriage. Nithya wanted to take her with us to chennai and wanted her to live with us. We were suppose to come here by next week to take her. She loved Nithya and Mithra so much. They talked for hours even ignoring me. Amma wanted to meet Mithra and you. She was so happy that finally she will get to live with a family.

Goutham: Stay strong Chandru.

Chandru: I m such an unlucky man. Why can't I have some happiness in my life ? Why it has to happen to me always ?

Goutham: Stop talking bullshits Chandru. I only want to see my brother smiling always. Now come on we need to find out what happened to her all of a sudden. 

Chandru: What do you mean ?

Goutham: She has been doing well and all her medications are given on time so how could she have a cardiac arrest suddenly ? Now get up and we will return home and discuss further.

Once Goutham left the room Chandru dumped some of the important things of his mother in a trolley and got ready to return chennai. Nithya entered the room and hugged him as they sobbed for the loss of his mother.

At penthouse Rehman raised the blinds to hide the view in the terrace and let Mithra to have a walk for sometime.

Mithra: Why did you install this blinds all of a sudden ?

Rehman: Just to avoid sun rays hitting you directly. 

Mithra: Blabber whatever you want. I know you will not let me know the actual reason so let it be.

Rehman smiled and walked along with her having general conversations and when she was tired he walked her back to the room. By evening everyone returned to penthouse and Mithra Nithya and caressed Chandru's hair who was sitting on the couch. Goutham saw Mithra sobbing and took her to room to let her rest for sometime.

She was napping in her room  and others were in the living. She heard voices screaming at each other and rushed to the living and saw Nithya sobbing and Shylaja, Nithya's mother were having a fight with each other.

Mithra: What is happening here ? Nithya why are you crying ?

Nithya's mother: Your mother in law is saying that it was Nithya's bad luck that Chandru's mother passed away.

Mithra: What ?

Shylaja: I m saying the right thing only. Chandru's mother was sick but she was doing good all these years but now we fixed the marriage and she is dead.

Mithra: Shylu maa, please don't speak such words. How can you blame her ?

Nithya: Let her talk Mithra. the person who is suppose to talk is quite so why should I worry about her words.

Mithra saw Chandru lost in thoughts and tried to get his attention but Nithya's father stopped her.

Nithya's father: Let him be Mithra. Let us not complicate things more. Anyhow we cannot do the marriage now so it is better if they take a break and think if they want to be together in their life. I want someone who can take a stand for my daughter given whatever the situation be.

Nithya's mother: Its better if we drop their marriage talks and Mrs. Shylaja can find a girl of her choice to Chandru. Nithya come lets go.

Mithra: Nithya...

Goutham: Mithra, let them decide their future. They are not kids that we keep convincing them to be together. Let them choose this time and that will be good for everyone. 

Nithya held her mother's hand and walked out and even Chandru didn't stop her. Once they left Goutham looked at his father, mother and Chandru.

Ravi: Chandru will stay with us for some days and I will go to office to take care of business. Once he is ready then I will accompany him for some days.

Mithra: Chandru you can come here anytime if you wanted to talk or stay with us.

Goutham wrapped his hand around her shoulder and took her to their room and before she could start crying he shook his head and made her sit on the bed.

Goutham: Mithra understand one thing that we cannot have a control over whatever happens around us but remember time heals everything and everyone. Both are in a vulnerable state so they need time and anything we do will only worsen the situation. So stop worrying and focus on your health now. I will take care and everything will be alright very soon.

Kavitha walked in with dinner for both of them and placed it on the table.

Goutham: Maa, did appa call you ? Did he scold you for staying last night ?

Kavitha: Let him do whatever he wants. what is more important than taking care of my daughter? I will leave in the morning. You both sleep after having dinner. 

Goutham smiled and fed Mithra with his hand and made her sleep after giving her vitamins.

A week passed by and nothing changed. Nithya was in the cafe and Pranav sat opposite to her and passed some flowers to her. He frowned seeing her gloomy face as if he knew nothing.

Pranav: Nithya, what happened. Why are you so sad when your marriage is just in 2 weeks ?

Nithya: No marriage is happening Pranav.

Pranav: What do you mean by no marriage is happening ?

Nithya explained him everything and cried leaning on the table. Pranav patted her shoulder and passed his handkey to her. 

Nithya: She became so close to me Pranav. Even I miss her a lot and I couldn't see him so broken but they all blamed my luck for her death.

Pranav: Stop crying Nithya. They are idiots who couldn't cherish you. I was never ok with that guy but I was happy only for because you loved him. He doesn't deserve you Nithya.

Nithya: I wanted to quit the job. I can't work there anymore when it is Chandru's brother company.

Pranav: What if I order you to join my company ? 

Nithya stopped crying and looked at him bewildered. Pranav just smiled and passed water to her and ordered coffee for both of them.

Pranav: Resign your job today and from tomorrow you will start to work in PV groups in my office.. no our office. I will make all arrangements to welcome you so don't disappoint me.

Pranav Mv: I will do everything to make you mine. Just step in my office and I will never let you anywhere near any of them. 

Nithya: Are you sure ? I was working as Team lead for marketing department. 

Pranav: Your designation will be decided by me so don't worry and just start your day fresh tomorrow. A new life, a new beginning.

Nithya: thank you so much. I needed someone to share my pain badly.

Pranav: I will always be with you Nithya. You can rely on me.

The next day Nithya arrived at PV groups and saw Pranav standing in the porch with flowers in his hand. He passed the flowers to her and held her hand walking into elevator. They reached his floor and Pranav called the very few employees to get their attention and Raghini was one among them.

Pranav: Everyone, she is Ms. Nithya and she is your COO. I want you all to respect her the same you do to me. Any disrespect to her consider yourself fired.

Nithya was shocked to hear the designation and Raghini was fuming in anger. She saw Pranav and Nithya entering a new cabin which was set up for Nithya with her name carved on the door. Once they were in the room Nithy saw the interiors and smiled at him with tears in her eyes.

Nithya: I m scared Pranav, I don't even know the role of COO.

Pranav: Why do you worry when I m here to teach you everything ? Just forget the past and focus on your future.

Nithya: what if I m a bad luck and cause loss in your business ?

Pranav: If losing some millions will bring smile on your face and if losing some billions will let you learn business then I will do it happily. Stop worrying about losses already. You will learn slowly.

Nithya: Thank you for trusting me Pranav. 

Pranav Mv: Now that you are in my premises I will make sure to make you mine forever. 

Pranav pulled the seat a little and gestured her to sit. Nithya sat in the plush seat and he shook hands with her.

Pranav: Wish you all the best.

Nithya: Thank you. Wish you all the best too..

Pranav: Why wish me ?

Nithya: To endure my tortures. Now I m just a door away from you and will keep troubling you so all the best.

Pranav: With pleasure you are welcome to torture me.

Nithya Mv: Ofcourse I will torture you. I will make you bleed for every drop of tears my Chandru shed for our mother and for all the pain she must have felt for dying without seeing our marriage. I will kill that bitch for helping you to kill my mom.

Pranav left her room and Nithya sent a thumbs up emoji to an unknown number in her mobile and deleted it once it was acknowledged.

At Ravi's mansion Ravi, Chandru were on call with Nithya's parents and Goutham. Shylaja received the thumbs up emoji and smiled at it.

Shylaja: Nithya has settled.
