Recap: Kavitha make a feast for Goutham.

Goutham was dressed formally and was pacing in the room waiting for Mithra to show up. He received a call from his father he had arrived at basement of the penthouse and waiting for them. Goutham knocked on the door of the closet as Mithra was taking a lot of time.

Goutham: Mithra, appa has arrived. What is taking you so long ?

Mithra: Have some patience Goutham. Its not like I take this long everytime to get ready. You can't hold your patience when it happens for the first time and react as if I m playing inside. Shut your mouth and I will be out soon or I swear to throw you out of our room tonight.

Goutham: Ippo naa enna solliten nu nee ippadi kova padra. Nee porumaiya vaa ma naa onnume sollala. Oru maargama di dhan irukka nee. Paathukuren. ( What did I say now that you are getting riled up ? Take your time and I m not saying anything. you are behaving weird woman. Let it be I will see into it )

Mithra: Sorry mama..

Goutham: Mama va ? ( Mama ?)

Mithra: I feel tensed and took it over you. I m sorry Gouthameyyy.. really sorry.

Goutham: Stop telling sorry twinkle. You did nothing wrong. I can see you are stressed too much without any reason so we will go on short vacation tomorrow. You will feel better then.

Mithra: What about the long drive you promised ? You don't want to go for it is it ?

Goutham: Ofcourse we will go for that tonight darling. Anything for my baby and her happiness.

Goutham stood before the mirror combing and adjusting his hair and the door opened and Mithra walked out dressed in a silk saree, hair braided. He placed the comb on the vanity table and leaned on the wall admiring her from head to toe.

Goutham:

Mithra blushed at his lyrics and winked at him replying to his lyrics.

Mithra:

Goutham pouted and took steps towards her and pulled her to him holding her waist.

Goutham:   

Ithu pondra vishayathil
Un pechu uthavaathu

Mithra: Appa is waiting for us and we should leave now so erase all your wild thoughts  or he will never stop teasing us. Thanks to you for all the PDA.

Goutham: Thirumbi vandhu vechukuren di unna. ( I will have you after we return )

He gave a slap on her bum and they walked out of the room to the living and saw Chandru sprawled on the couch with his leg on the headrest and he was watching TV.

Goutham: I told you to revoke his access but you never listen to me. Look at his attrocity.

Goutham slapped on Chandru's head and he sat startled rubbing the back of his head.

Chandru: enna vara sollitu nee nalla romance pannitu porumaiya variya da. Evlo neram wait panradhu ? ( You called me here and took your own time to romance ? How long I had been waiting ?)

Goutham:Shut up and follow us.

Chandru: Atleast tell me where are we going ?

Mithra: You will know that when we reach the destination. Now come on Ravi pa is waiting for a long time.

Chandru: He knew you guys would take your time romancing and he stayed in the car waiting

They reached parking and saw Ravi in the car with Shylaja which made Goutham stop from getting in the car. Chandru took a step back turning his face away.

Ravi: Goutham, this is the right thing to do even if we don't want it.

Goutham: I will come in my car with Mithra and Chandru. You can follow me behind or I will text you the address.

He didn't wait for reply and walked away with Chandru to get his car. Mithra greeted Ravi and smiled at Shylaja. Her mother's words rang in her head and she cleared her throat and looked at Shylaja who was looking at her already.

Mithra: How are you aunty ?

Shylaja: I m good, how are you ?

Mithra never expected a reply from Shylaja but hearing a reply and a question back to her was shocking and she looked at Ravi and he smiled too.

Mithra: I m fine aunty.

Goutham got down from the car and opened the door for Mithra and called her. Once she got seated he closed the door and got in the driver seat and started to drive.

Mithra: Goutham, Shylaja aunty spoke to me....I mean like a normal conversation. She asked how I am doing.

Goutham: Ohh.. ok

Mithra: Are you not surprised and happy to know that she is changing ?

Goutham: I will react when I see myself that she is changed completely so now you be happy with what you got to experience. 

Chandru: Will you both be serious now and tell me what is happening and where are we heading?

Mithra: We are going to Nithya's home to fix your marriage.

Chandru: and you thought she will welcome with open hands on seeing your mother in law at her doorstep ?

Mithra: Appa is right Chandru. Nithya might hate her but her parents will feel it right when Ravi pa and aunty together ask for Nithya's hand to marry you.

Chandru: Its like I m cursed to never be happy in my life at all. Here we are going to talk my marriage with the girl I m in love but I couldn't feel the happiness. I m only scared of what will your mother in law will scheme against me now and Nithya's reaction to it.

Mithra: Everything will be fine. Just relax and put a smile, you will be meeting your in laws for the first time and first impression matters.

On reaching Nithya's home Mithra pressed the door bell and Nithya's father opened the door and smiled looking at Mithra but he looked amused on seeing rest of the people behind her.

Nithya's father: Please come in all of you. How are you son in law ?

Chandru looked at Goutham and gave a deadly glare but he cared less and smiled at Nithya's father.

Goutham: I m fine uncle, how are you ?

Chandru Mv: Oru naal achu naa hero va irukka mudiyudha ? ( Can I be a hero for a day atleast ?)

Nithya's mother and Nithya came out hearing the sound of voices and Nithya froze looking at them and Nithya's mother welcomed them. Nithya's mother served them juice and sat next to her husband and Nithya stood behind them fidgeting with her fingers looking at them and she held a look of disgust at Shylaja.

Ravi: Hello sir, Mithra told us you are looking for a groom for your daughter. I m here to ask her hand for Chandru. His father runs a business but I m being open to you and he doesn't care of his family and has other family to take care. Chandru's mother is sick and she is under treatment. He is my niece but I raised him as my own son. Goutham and Chandru are both same to me. We would be very happy to have Nithya as our daughter.

Nithya's father: We are not rich like you. I m an ordinary labour in a machinery factory which is nearby. 

Mithra: Appa, you have seen me and how they all treat me as their own daughter. You can trust us and Nithya will be happy in her life.

Ravi: Chandru was my PA actually and right now he is about to take his position as PA for Goutham but more than being PA they will run business together. Chandru owns 30% shares of RC Industries. 

Chandru was shocked to hear the information as he himself was not aware of it.

Ravi: I have bought him a bungalow two years back and also registered a cottage in Kodaikanal but he never used them and got a flat on his own and live there only. He is really a hardworking fellow. We will be happy to welcome Nithya to our family. Goutham and Chandru are brother and best friends likewise Mithra and Nithya are best friends and they will become sisters if this marriage happens.

Nithya's mother: I know Mithra wants Nithya to get married and happy but you should take time and think once again. Don't do this because Mithra wanted this. Speak with your son too.

Chandru stood from his seat and moved next to Nithya and held her hand shocking her parents.

Chandru: We are not here because Mithra wanted this alliance. I don't want to start this relationship based on any lies and frame this as an arranged marriage. Let me be honest  We are here because I love your daughter. I see my future only with her and I want her in my life. I have seen a broken marriage of my parents and the pain from it so I can promise you I will be a better person to share her happiness and all her problems, pains too. 

Nithya's mother noticed Nithya too holding Chandru's hand and his knuckles caressing her thumb to ease her tension.

Nithya's mother: But our daughter doesn't love you so we will not force her in a loveless marriage.

Everyone was shocked including Nithya and she saw her mother with pleading eyes and when that didn't work she sighed and held her head high looking at her father.

Nithya: I love Chandru. 

Nithya's mother and father both smiled hearing her words and more than that they were happy to see Chandru being honest and standing up for their love.

Nithya's father: We have some jewels and cash saved for her marriage and other than that we won't be able to do anything else. We will try to share the expenses for the wedding.

Shylaja: You need not worry about anything. We will take care of everything you just give the couples whatever you want to give out of love. Chandru is my son and I promised his mother that I will do everything for him in her place and I will do that.

Ravi, Goutham, Chandru and Nithya looked at Shylaja like she was some ghost and Nithya scoffed at her words. Mithra glared at her to be quite.

Nithya's father: Nothing is more important than our children's happiness so we are ready to get them married.

Mithra's eyes brimmed with tears hearing those words which she yearned to listen from her father. Goutham who was next to her rubbed her back knowing her mind like the back of his palm and she smiled at him.

Ravi: You look for a date for the wedding and we will also do that and later we can fix a date which would be comfortable for both our families.

Nithya's father: Sure we will do.

Ravi: Thank you for understanding. We will take our leave now.

Shylaja: Just a minute..

Shylaja picked a box from her bag and moved to Nithya and opened it before her which had a pair of bangles.

Shylaja: When my mother in law was in her death bed she gave me and Chandru's mother her bangles and few jewels but Chandru's mother never took them with her and left it with me. Now it will belong to you. I will give you rest of the jewels when I welcome you to our family.

Shylaja picked the bangles and slid them in Nithya's hand and touched her head mumbling a sorry with tears in her eyes. Mithra felt so happy to see Shylaja's change and even Nithya was shocked. Finally they left from there and Goutham did not spoke a word in reply to Mithra's ranting about Shyalaj's change.

When they reached the penthouse Goutham saw Ravi and Shylaja following them. Mithra felt happy and welcomed them and altogether they entered inside. Mithra herself rushed to the kitchen and prepared tea for all of them and served first to Shylaja who was looking at the huge frame of Goutham and Mithra's wedding pic in the living. She placed the tea cup on the teapoy and took some jewel boxes and moved to Mithra.

Shylaja: Mithra, a sorry will not justify my actions and whatever I did and spoke to you but please forgive me. I learnt my mistakes and I want to be in all your lives. These are the jewels which was given my mother in law to me and some are mine. All these rightfully belong to you now. Will you please forgive me and accept this as my love.

Mithra: I m sorry aunty I can't accept this.
