Recap: Pranav meet his friends father to join hands to avenge Goutham but they refuse. Later Mithra invite Nithya for dinner.

Mithra entered the kitchen and gasped in shock and followed by her Goutham gave a shocked expression and sound looking at the scene infront of them. Chandru was holding Nithya's waist with one hand and smooching her cheeks trying to take the ice cream from her with his other hand but froze hearing a gasp followed by another. Both of them got startled and saw Goutham, Mithra at the entrance with their hands on their mouth in shock.

Nithya's eyes followed Mithra's gaze and it was on Chandru's hand on her waist. Quickly she removed his hand and shoved him away from her. Chandru realized what happened and licked the ice cream from his finger giving a nervous smile to the couple.

Chandr Mv: Adapavi, neeya enna kitchen ku Nithya pakka anupum podhe naa yosichu irukkanum. ( Man, I should have reconsidered when you sent me to kitchen to meet Nithya )

Goutham: Chandru, you.. I didn't expect this from you...God, what is happening here ?

Chandru and Nithya both looked at each other hearing his words and the way he reacted as if he never knew about them.

Chandru Mv: ennama nadikuran. Ippo naa ivan performance ah pakkuradha illa next Mithra and Nithya kulla enna nadakum nu yosikradha. Ivan oru friend vechutu naa heart attack laye poi sendhuduven pola. ( Look at his acting. Should I watch his performance or should I worry about what will happen between Mithra and Nithya now. Having him as the only friend it seems like I will die of heart attack)

Chandru: Mithra, Nithya ...hmmmm... is the girl... It was not like we wanted to hide it from you but you know things were difficult between us and you and Goutham had so much in your life so we didn't want to trouble you with our problem. We are still working on our problem. Nithya is not at fault in any of these. Please...

Nithya: Mithu shall we ... hmmm. ... talk in private.

Mithra nodded her head and lead her way with Nithya behind her. Once they were gone Goutham sat in the stool and poured water in a glass and passed it to Chandru.

Chandru: You must have been the great Chanakya in your previous birth you know. 

Goutham: Chill man, you know this hide and seek you are playing with Nithya has to end. 

Chandru: We have progressed and she doesn't get angry over me. She wanted me to stop my drinking habit and I happily agreed to it. Its been a week and I haven't touched the drinks, it makes me happy that I m doing it for her.

Goutham: You know why I did that ?

Chandru: hmm Yeah, Mithra is the point where Nithya couldn't forgive me completely. I tried a few time and talked to her to let Mithra about us but she was not ready and I couldn't go against her.

Goutham: And that is why I did this. Mithra will do what she has to do so don't worry and lets get the table ready for the dinner.

Mithra and Nithya sat on the couch in the garden facing the idol of ganesha. Mithra waited for Nithya to open up and after a few minutes Nithya sighed and started talking.

Nithya: I didn't know that I will fall in love Mithu. I thought like any other men Chandru will give up one day and stop running behind me but he made me fall in love with him after a year of all his ways to get me. It was the same time when you too got feelings for boss. I didn't know what to do and everything was new for me too. I thought I will reveal to you as a surprise but before that so much happened and there was no need for telling you.

Mithra: You are right. Ofcourse there was no need for you to tell me since everything went downhill and you decided to cry over the misery alone. Yeah you did the right thing why should you share your pain and worries to someone and that happens to be me, your best friend. 

Nithya: Mithu, please... I know how much you loved boss and I couldn't get my mind to come over to you and tell that the person whom I loved has planned to ditch me and that will take your happiness away from you.

Mithra: Where are you guys now ? Is everything ok ?

Nithya: No, I mean not completely. He is trying and trying his best. I m trying too but I couldn't get over completely and forgive him. You could have lost your love and happiness forever because of what he did and I can't imagine that.

Mithra: Do you love him ?

Nithya: Sadly yes...but.I

Mithra: I know what happened exactly Nithya except for the fact that you were the girl Chandru was in love so shall I tell you a harsh truth and it may pain you.

Nithya looked at Mithra amused and nodded her head. Mithra caught Nithya's hand in hers and smiled at her.

Mithra: If you are hurt that Chandru betrayed Goutham and me then what did you do ? Why did you not come to me and reveal that Chandru had plans of marrying Raghini against his will and you had doubt behind that ? You didn't tell me because you believed that Goutham would have not let anything happen that would break us and Chandru felt the same, he too trusted Goutham will handle it. Tell me honestly, didn't you feel that you were also at fault for not letting me know ? What if Goutham ended up marrying Raghini ? Is only Chandru at fault now ?

Nithya felt a prick in her heart hearing Mithra's words afterall truth is always bitter. 

Mithra: But I m not upset even 1 % with Chandru nor you. I really pity for that man and now you too. What could have you done if you were in his shoes ?

Nithya: I can understand that and anyone could have done what he did and I don't even deny that. But what if you had to suffer in your life ? When my mind reminds me that because of the choice he made you could have lost your life, I couldn't forgive him.

Mithra: Are you feeling bad that he made a choice and that choice was not you at that time ? If you think that way then I m sorry Nithya you are no better than Chandru because you are doing the same. If he made a choice which is not you then you are doing the same making me as your choice over him. 

Nithya broke down hearing her words and Mithra pulled her in a hug and patted her back.

Mithra: Did he ever tell you that he was not ready to fight for you or did he ever say that he doesn't love you anymore ?

Nithya: No, the day when he revealed about the marriage arrangement he said that he loves only me, he see a future only with me, he said he will come back to me.

Mithra: Then where is the point that he betrayed you comes from ? Its already been more than 2 months now but he hasn't gone to meet his mother but he is here waiting for you accept him back in your life. You are my best friend and also my sister Nithi. I won't force you to do anything that you didn't want in your life but its my responsibility to show you the right thing and now the decision is yours. Either accept him without any guilt or second thought else let him go forever and move on in your life. There is no point in holding back and giving false hopes to him and to yourself. Both of you are too good and doesn't deserve this pain. Whatever is your decision I will stand by you even if you choose to let him go then I will make sure he doesn't disturb you anymore.

Mithra pulled back from the hug and was about to leave but Nithya stopped her and hugged her again.

Nithya: thank you, thank you so much. I really was being an idiot fooling myself to get over him but I love him Mithu. I love him so much and that idiot didn't give me any chances to hate him. you are right I did the same as he did but I couldn't realize that all these days. Thank you, what will I do without you ?

Mithra: I know you are idiot so I m happy that one of us is intelligent.

Nithya: No, I m the intelligent one always. Once I made a mistake and I won't let you take the title of being intelligent.

Mithra: Ok, now lets get back and someone's heart must have already jumped to his throat in anticipation.

Nithya: Don't tell him anything. I will handle him.

Mithra: whatever but please I don't want to see you sulking like you were before. How strongly you refused to tell me when I asked you. 

When they returned to the living they heard noises from kitchen and walked over there. They were surprised to see Goutham and Chandru both busy in preparing dessert. Seeing Nithya, Chandru wiped his hands with the towel and rushed to her raising his eyebrows questioning her.

Nithya: Chandru, I m sorry. After speaking with Mithra I got a clarity on what I wanted and I m sorry I was not clear in my decisions. Now I don't want to hurt both of us anymore. Its better we part here and go on with our lives, it would be the best for both of us. Hope you understand and I m sorry.

Chandru gulped hearing her words and tears brimmed in his eyes. He moved to the kitchen island and picked a bowl of carrot halwa and passed it to Nithya.

Chandru: Enga amma solli irukanga yedhu pannalum first sweet sapdanum nu. Indha sweet saptu breakup pannikalam. ( My mother has told me that we should have some sweet before we start doing anything. Have some sweet then we shall break up)
