Nithya reached her floor and saw the environment was unusual. Most of the men looked pissed off but on contrast the females were beaming in happiness. A few were even touching their makeup. she dropped her handbag on the table of her cubicle and cleared her throat to get the attention of the lady next to her who was still busy in her makeup.

Nithya: What is happening in office ? 

Lady: You don't know ? God, we got a new head and if I should precise then the handsome man who many girls were dreaming about for days. He is back and women are happy to see him and men are jealous of him. He had never batted his eyes on any woman so far and we have also heard that he is very strict so every girl wants their fair chance to get him.

Nithya: Enna aravindamy ah join pannitaru ? ( What.. Did Aravind swamy joined here ?)

Lady: Aravind swamy is old now so say someone in trend but he is not less than our boss Goutham.

Nithya: Rightuuu ellam loosa sutha podhu appo. ( Good then everyone will go around like crazy)

One of the employees informed Nithya that the new head has called to meet her. She scrunched her nose in disgust and slowly nodded her head. She stood from her seat but was pulled back by the lady.

Lady: Nithya, apply some lip gloss, who knows you might be the lucky girl.

Nithya showed her fist to shut the lady and walked towards the room of her new head. She knocked on the door and hearing a faint come in she opened the door and the next moment she was hugged from behind but unfortunately Nithya raised her elbow and knocked the person on his nose.

She moved away from his hold and saw his palms covering his face.

Nithya: Idiot, who are you and how dare you to hug me ? I will kill you.

She was about to open the door but again she was pulled back and she saw it was Chandru standing with a bleeding nose.

Chandru: Ratschasi, ippadiya adippa ? ( devilish woman, how could you hit like this ?)

Nithya: I m so sorry, if I had known it was you may be I would applied more force and chose some other place.

Her gaze moved down from his face to his abdomen but instead of moving further down she again looked at his face. Chandru gulped and wiped the blood with tissue.

Nithya: What are you doing here ? I was supposed to meet the new head of our department.

Chandru: And why can't that be me ?

Nithya: Ohhhh, good morning sir. Its my pleasure to meet you. Welcome and I m extremely sorry for my arrogance earlier... ippadilam solluven nu paathiya.. ( You thought I would say that )

Chandru sighed and took a step close to her but she dared him and snapped her finger and he froze on the spot and raised his hands in surrender.

Chandru: Nithya, I m sorry, I m here for you and I will do anything to get you back in my life. I m sorry please forgive me.. just one chance.

Nithya: Are you by any chance crying or pleading to me ? I don't think men do that.

Chandru: every men will do more than crying, pleading even beg to his woman and that is not any shame to show his vulnerability to his woman. You are my woman, the only one I want in my life until I breathe my last so I don't feel ashamed to cry or plead before you.

Nithya: Let me remind you something. I never fell in love with you because you were rich or handsome butI thought you would be a genuine person after a year of your efforts to make me fall in love but then you proved me wrong so its better you go on your way rather than crying over spoilt milk.

Chandru: I never said you fell for my money and I love you because you are not any ordinary girl who loves money or fame. I love you Nithya, I m still the same.

Nithya: By the way how did you join here ? Weren't you the PA of Ravichandran sir ?

Chandru: I requested Goutham to give a chance to convince you and he gave in.

Nithya: Means ?

Chandru: I told Goutham about us but don't worry he won't tell Mithra. It will be your place to inform her about us.

Nithya: What is there to tell her about us ? Anyway if you joined as head just do that work and if you try the tricks from books to keep me in your room or play your wooing techniques then I will...

Chandru: I won't do anything that will tarnish your name.

Nithya: Senju paaru, moonjiya pethuduven.. ( Try it then I will break your face ) 

Chandru: I love you Nithya, now let us get back to work and I will meet you in the evening.

Nithya: I m sorry, I have date with  my boyfriend in the evening.

Chandru: Yeah, I remember and that is why I said I will meet in the evening.

Nithya showed her fist gritting her teeth and left the room. Chandru huffed and got seated in his chair.

Goutham and Mithra returned after finalizing the costumes for the reception and slumped on the couch in the bed room. 

Goutham: Where do you want to go for honeymoon ?

Mithra: Didn't we already go for it ?

Goutham: that was unofficial one now but after the reception we will go on a official one so tell me where do you want to go ?

Mithra: We have already bunked office for so many days and you now want to go for honeymoon? 

Goutham: Too bad wifey, how about atleast a short trip within our country ?

Mithra: Do you have some place in your mind ?

Goutham: May be, may not be. We will discuss this later but now we need a bath badly after a long day. 

Mithra: Yeah go ahead and I will take a nap until then.

Goutham: Not happening after I have been hardly holding my urge to devour you from the moment you walked out draping this saree. You are fucking sexy that I had to hardon instantly.

Without warning carried her to the washroom and closed the door behind. He made her sit on the counter and crashed his lips with her standing between her legs. An hour later they walked out of the washroom wearing robes and he helped her to wear his shirt and shorts as she was too tired to even stand.

By evening Rehman arrived at the penthouse with a couple in their late fifties. Mithra raised her eyebrows at Gotham and sat next to him.

Rehman: Boss, he is Sridhar and she is his wife Thamarai. I have explained all the works they will do here and also I have given a place for them to stay in the floor below.

Goutham: Mithra, they will start working for us from tomorrow. You can decide the timing of their work or they will arrive in the morning for the work and leave at night once all the work is over.

Mithra: I will take care...

Rehman then introduced Goutham and mithra to the couple and led them out to start their work from the next day. He gave a smile to Mithra before he left the penthouse to which smirked.

Mithra: Why did you want staffs to work here ?

Goutham: Earlier it used to be only me and later you would come once or twice a week so the work would be less but now we have started our life together so it would be different. I can't see you working at home as well as office. You will have to take care of you handsome husband at night and you will be worn out of all these. I want you to be my queen so I thought its better to have some staff to take care of chores at home.

Mithra: hmmmm whatever you wish... They seem to be good.

Goutham: Rehman will never get someone so easily to our place. They should be trustworthy so don't worry about it.

Mithra: Can you check for my mobile in the study please ?

Goutham nodded and entered the study. Once he was gone there was a knock on the door and Mithra opened it and saw Chandru standing with a shocked face.

Mithra: Please follow me...

Chandru nodded his head and entered inside following her. Mithra entered the study with Chandru and Goutham gritted his teeth to see him.

Goutham: What the hell is he doing here ? Who let him in ?

Mithra: Goutham calm down. Ravi appa sent him here on my request to him.

Goutham: Mithra...

Mithra: Goutham, please listen to my words. I know how much you miss your friend and your brother. Please let go your anger and for once give him a chance. Will you be happy if he is not present on our day ?

Chandru: what day ?

Goutham: Shut up, that is none of your business...

Mithra: ok thats it ... 

She walked out of the room and stopped by the threshold with her hand on her hip.

Mithra: All the best to both of you. The door will be opened only when you both are reconciled. Bye.

Goutham rushed to her but before that Mithra closed the door and locked it from outside. Goutham banged on the door for few minutes but Mithra did not pay heed to it and returned to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

Goutham turned around and saw Chandru already seated on the couch and reading a magazine from the table.

Goutham: Why the fuck did you come here ?

Chandru: Bro, do you see any chances of being let out ? No, so better sit and we will talk like gentleman.

Goutham: Gentleman ? says who ?

Chandru: Ok, I m not a gentleman but you are one right so why not sit back and let us have a talk. To answer your question Ravi uncle sent me here that you have something important to tell me but I was so surprised to see Mithra here already. So whats happening ?

Goutham did not reply and moved to stand by the window. Chandru waited a few minutes and sighed when he did not get any response. He moved and stood next to him by the window.

Chandru: Why did you leave the mansion and stayed at the apartment ? Why did you leave to London ?

Goutham: As if you don't know..

Chandru: Yes, I know you did because you wanted to prove yourself worth of your love. You could have gave in your mother's words and got over Mithra but you chose Mithra over everything because she became your top priority that you was ready to give up anything for that.

Goutham: What wrong do you find in it ? 

Chandru: Nothing wrong Goutham, have you ever thought of me having a friend other than you?

Goutham froze at his words which were actually true. Being an introvert Goutham never had friends other than chandru but being an extrovert Chandru never made friends.

Chandru: Do you know why I came to stay with you and uncle ? My mother sent me. She knew how I was yearning for a father's love in my life and how lonely you were in your life. But after I came to live with you I never thought of my father because uncle took care of me and aunty took care of my mother like her sister. You loved me truly like your own blood brother. I have seen you not mingling with anyone and I wanted to be there for you and I promised myself that I will never have friend other than you. I wanted to be the only friend to you like you were to me.

Goutham: Why did you do that ?

Chandru: Other than you and uncle I had only my mother Goutham, I love Nithya but that doesn't mean I don't love my mother. Don't you agree that you would have stopped the marriage that your mother planned against you ? I agree that Nithya doesn't deserve that but can you refuse the fact that my mother was in a more vulnerable position than a strong girl like Nithya ? Even after all these I have left my mother in some else care and I m here trying to mend our relationship and convince Nithya. 

Goutham saw Chandru's eyes turning moist and took a step close to him patting his shoulder.

Chandru: If you don't want to us to get back together then remember I will never make friend in my life. There is no improvement in getting Nithya back. I will be an orphan if something happens to my mother without anyone in my life...

Goutham slapped him and pulled him to his embrace.

Goutham: I will kill you if you repeat those words once more. Agree that I was angry over you but that doesn't I abandon you or our friendship. You will always be my only friend and brother.

Chandru: So you forgive me ?

Goutham: Yeah yeah only for Mithra and not for you fool... better get your girl back. I don't want to see you sulking around. Its horrible to see you acting pitiful.

Chandru pulled back from the hug and smiled at him and then raised his eyebrows.

Chandru: So, will you tell me now what is happening in your life ? Why is Mithra here ?

Goutham: She is my wife so obviously she will live with me.

Chandru gasped and clutched his heart and followed Goutham to the door.
