Recap: Raghuvaran refuses to accept Goutham and Mithra later Kavitha informs Mithra to leave the house and stay with Goutham.

Kavitha opened the door of her bedroom and saw Raghuvaran standing by the window. Hearing the footsteps he returned to the bed and sat on it without sparing a glance at her. Kavitha sighed and sat on the chair that was near the window.

Raghuvaran: Did you see how the people were watching our house ? Did you see how they talking among themselves when she left with them ?

Kavitha: When we got married we lived a rent house and with years we built this home and shifted here. Did anyone help us when we were at the lowest of our life ? Why should we care if they see now ?

Raghuvaran: You say that like you will not care if people in our surroundings and our relatives start taunting us ? You won't feel humiliated or bad ?

Kavitha: I may feel bad but I won't feel humiliated because Mithra is happy in her life. She got someone who really love and care for her. Nobody's words should hurt us because those words are their jealousy looking at our daughter living a best life than them. Culture, rituals, surroundings, relatives, our pride are important I agree but not at the cost of our children's happiness. 

Raghuvaran: Rich people are not so good or easy like you think Kavitha. We are no one to them. They value money, power, status above everything. What if he hurt her ?

Kavitha: You will feel bad for having this idea about them very soon. Mithra's father in law wanted to have a reception for them to announce their marriage. He doesn't want anyone speaking ill of her. I request you give up your ego and we should do what we are supposed to.

Raghuvaran: How come you changed like this ?

Kavitha: I m a mother and my love for my children comes first and everything comes next. Please give your presence for her reception even if you don't wish. If anything that will humiliate us and Mithra is your absence. I hope you get me.

Goutham and Mithra entered the penthouse followed by Ravi and Rehman. They settled in the living and Mithra got water for them. Goutham pulled her to sit next to him and interlaced his fingers with her.

Ravi: Mithra, no words of mine will console you now but trust me your father will come around very soon. No parent can ignore or be angry with their children. He is upset and will forgive you.

Goutham: Appa is right Mithra, it might be hard for you but just imagine until few days back we were still hesitating on revealing it to your parents but now your mother and brother has accepted us and soon will your father too. You have to hold to your belief that only good things will happen to us.

Ravi: Alright I know you both wanted to be alone at this moment but before I take my leave let me tell you one thing. Your reception will be in 10 days. I will take care of all the arrangements and you both take care of your costumes alone and I will send the invites so that you can invite whomever you wish.

Mithra: Appa, Shylaja amma ...

Ravi: She will come don't worry about her. Relax your mind and get ready to welcome your father to your reception. Also work from home until your reception. I will take my leave and I believe my daughter has too many questions to you.

Ravi smirked at Goutham and left the penthouse. 

Goutham: Mithra, go relax for sometime. I will be back after a few discussion with Rehman to plan our work from home.

Once Mithra was out of sight Goutham sighed and rubbed his forehead.

Rehman: All hard work got wasted boss. What now ?

Goutham: I thought we will take some time to reveal about our marriage but everything happened so fast not that I m complaining. I m more than happy to walk in public holding her hand.

Rehman: But he will get to know about Mithra after your reception.

Goutham: We can't stop that now but we will make sure he doesn't come around her.

Rehman: Are you forgetting something ?

Goutham: No I m not. He will also know that it was me who gifted him that crutch. He will be back to his revenge mode but this time he will leave no stones unturned to get back to us. We will handle him. I want you to take care of office until me and Mithra are back. Get mine and Mithra's stuffs from office by tomorrow.

Rehman: Alright boss, got it. I will take my leave. Be prepared before you meet boss madam.

Goutham smacked Rehman on his back and Rehman left the penthouse. Goutham locked the door and prepared two cups of coffee before he entered the bedroom.

Mithra as still in the same saree standing in the balcony and looking out the busy road. Goutham placed the coffee on the tepoy and caught her hand pulling her to sit on his lap side ways and hugged her wrapping his hand around her waist. Mithra started crying closing her face.

Goutham: Mithra, please stop crying. Instead of crying over the negative side of things happening look at the positive ones. Your mother and brother has accepted us. Though your father hasn't accepted us he didn't stop from being together, our families met each other, we will announce our marriage in public, our reception will be in 10 days and the most important fact is your father will come and bless us in our reception.

Mithra: What if he doesn't come or accept us ?

Goutham: he will Mithra else we will bring him to us using the idea your mother gave you.

Mithra: My mother didn't give idea Goutham.

Goutham: No she did, a grandchild..

Mithra gasped and Goutham chuckled pinching her nose.

Goutham: You people forgot to close the door after Vinay entered inside not my fault. Now please twinkle stop crying, I couldn't see tears in your eyes. Our life has become like soap drama recently. Lets take a break before we start focusing on our reception. Now have this coffee and change your saree. You have been in this from the morning.

He placed the brim of the cup near her lips and Mithra sipped it closing her eyes. Once she was done he carried her to the room and lowered her to stand in the washroom.

Goutham: I will get bathed in the next room. Later we shall sleep for sometime and then I want to take you out for dinner and I will give answers to the questions running in your mind.

Mithra nodded her head and he pressed a kiss on forehead before he left the room.

Ravi took a deep breathe before entering inside his home but regretted it immediately. The entire living was a mess and all the things were thrashed down. Shylaja sat on the couch like she had returned from a war. Ravi kicked the broken lamp that was on his way and headed to his room but Shylaja rushed infront of him in rage.

Shylaja: You are a traitor Ravi. How could you do this to me ? Not even once you thought of me before you let him marry her ? 

Ravi: Yeah I did thought of you. I really thought you should not question about my activities that day because I wanted to celebrate my son's big day.

Shylaja caught Ravi's collars and shook him vigorously.

Shylaja: How could you treat me like I m no one to you ?

Ravi removed her hands and pushed her back gently dusting the wrinkles on his shirt.

Ravi: Do you remember when was the last we had a conversation of being a good couple or do you remember the last time you spent time in trying to understand what Goutham wants in his life or when was the last time we had a family time ? The answer is a big NO because you lost yourself in the greed of money, pride and power that you forgot you have a family and from then it was always me and my son. We lived in our world and more than being a father I was a friend to him. How do you expect me to betray him when his love was so pure. Was it my fault that I wanted my son to live a life that I wasn't blessed with ?

Shylaja: I would have been distant from you both but I always loved you both and you both are my life. 

Ravi: There is no use in saying you love us but all you did was boasting about your status ?

Shylaja: I would have agreed any girl he loved but I hated the fact she was older than him.

Ravi: You are sick in your mind if you think age is a hindrance in love. There are so many people in your high class society who have married women older than them. It all depends on one's thoughts and yours lost your son.

Shylaja: I can't lose him Ravi. He is our only son.

Ravi: I might given up on you but Goutham and Mithra are too good at their heart to forgive you. I m not telling you this because you will accept them but I have seen the yearning in their eyes. Its upto you  now but I really don't care if you accept them but if you ever try to bring trouble into their life then you will see the worse of me. I will divorce you and let you wander in roads. Anyway there is nothing left between us.

He moved away but again stopped turning to Shylaja.

Ravi: I have a lot work to plan my son's wedding reception so its better you clean up this mess you have created. Inform the manager to rework on the damage you have done.

Shylaja plopped on the floor near by the couch and started crying burying her face in the cushion.
