Nandu Nandu come on wake up its time for dinner.

I was having a difficult time waking up and the gentle yet soothing caress of someone's hand on me was just giving me more reasons to sleep rather than to wake up,I was almost so busy snuggling my self into the source of the sweet caress.

Wow that was close,Thank god that I had opened my eyes before saying the monster's name.

What happened Nandu....missing maa???u know I also miss them,I just wish they could be here to see how happy I am and also how hard it is to manage their little pixie.

She nudged my nose saying this,I hated to involve maa  & appa in my lie but well I had to do this,the truth could be devastating.

But navya how did you come in,I remember locking the doors before sleeping.

Arre no the doors were unlocked,actually I was calling you to wake up,I totally forgot that its not our house,and as I came up I saw Mr malhotra in front of your door,god it was so embarrassing he said listening to my voices he thought of waking you so that I don't have to stress.

Realisation hit me and I imagined that actually we had been saved by the nick of time & which also explained manik missing from my side,I wonder how deep was my sleep that I didn't hear any of this.Thank god and of course Manik.I turned to see Navya lost.

What happened have you and Cabir sorted your fight or are you still at each other neck,you are happy naa .M sure you are making a list of to do right ?????

Yes of course I am happy& yes there are certainly a lot I have to do,but my top most priority is you.

Though I did sense a hidden meaning to it,I didn't press on knowing further and hugged her tight.

Come on now nandu dress up I came here to call you for dinner and see I forgot that.Hurry up now,Mr malhotra would also be there, its not good to give a bad first  impression.

I rolled my eyes at seeing her talk highly of Mr monster, only if she knew what he had done to me...After getting ready we both headed towards the dinning area only to find Manik and Cabir having drinks and laughing,it felt weird because neither Manik nor Cabir liked mixing personal and professional relations,and the way they bonded it seemed like they knew each other from before,as we came near them we heard Cabir say.

Whatever it may be,your timing and planning is superb.

Planning what planning (both of them turned to face us,and put up the expression of being caught red handed)

AArrre Navya is here,oooh Nandu you too,planning....urmm planning this party at this time of the year ,what a perfect weather best time to visit Bombay.

Navya was about to say something when Cabir again interrupted saying,

And Manik meet Nandu our Nandini my sister in law .Of course you must be already knowing each other since she had done her internship with your company being a vital client of her mentor.

Now was the time for me to put up my act,I extended my hand for a formal handshake putting up a fake smile,but how was it even possible for Manik to let go of any opportunity to irritate me,he ignored my extended hand and took me in hug,making Navya open her eyes and mouth in shock.

Arrre Ms Murthy come on why are you being so formal,you mean a lot to me,I mean your perseverance and dedication towards me has been my strength and has saved my company's ass most of the time and also we have been sooooo close (my eyes bulged out in shock)
I mean worked so closely like a family,so please chuck the formality.

I was glad that he did  cover up for his daredevil act in front of Navya and thankfully Cabir also started speaking about the project which did divert Navya's attention,finding them busy I decided to threaten Manik on his almost lapse of revealing the truth,though he never left chance to disturb me,but his this claiming his right over me act was surprising,I found him smirking at someone behind me only to find a disturbed Arjun .

It was then that it clicked me,manik did not hug me to irritate me but to make Arjun jealous.I thought that I should also do something to get even with him.I saw Arjun already settled at the table so I decide to make my move,and settled myself next to him,earning a glare from the monster

I ignored Manik royally during the entire dinner and got into an actively affectionate conversation with ARJUN leading to mixed reaction from all at the table,angry MANIK,surprised CABIR,happy NAVYA and an ecstatic ARJUN.

I could feel....... like literally feel Manik's blood boil with our smile and my periodic battling of lashes,I knew that had we been in any other situation,Arjun would have been dead by now and as for me well he would have punished me in his own torturous ways.

Finally amidst all this our dinner was over and I finally looked up at Manik to see him throwing deadly glares and fireballs at us,well I was ready for anything later but as of now it was time to flash the winning smile,I had after all PUSHED THE MONSTER TO THE EXTREME.
But I forgot that  I was Mrs to the Mr and Manik would deal with me privately but wont ever hesitate from claiming his rights on me in front of others,As I crossed him he made me trip and as it would be he caught me like a hero,but that was not it ,he made a slow dance on my arm,thankfully navya and cabir had retired for the night.
He looked at Arjun and spoke in a warning tone while still touching me
I got you Nandu,I won't let you fall!!

I pulled myself straight and thanked him and wishing Arjun night made my way quickly to my room.I locked my room fast before Manik could reach me,but got shocked when I heard him.

I see you are getting very desperate,I like it,but guess what I was more desperate.

I AM SO DEAD!!!
