Edward's POV Cont.

"What the heck are you guys doing here?! I told you to stay in Forks until I gave word!"

"We know Jake. It's just that...Sam was getting on our nerves-"

"Your nerves." Seth's interjects, and Leah glares at him.

"Our nerves." He raises his hands in surrender.
"I know you told us to stay with him, but seriously Jake, he's not our alpha. And having him order us around just didn't feel right. We coped with it for awhile, because you told us too, but if they gave just one more nasty remark, someone was going to get hurt."

"So before any of that had to happen...here we are!!" Seth concludes.

"What about Sue-"

"Mom says, once we keep in contact, and visit every now and again, she's fine." Seth answers.

Sighs. They're not suppose to be here yet. The guest house is not even ready! I hear Jacob think.

"Come on in guys. Are you guys hungry?" Esme asks them. As we all walk back into the house.

"Starving." They both reply.

4 Hours Later

"I'm really sorry about this Carlisle. I-"

"Cut it out Jacob. You all are basically family. It won't take long to fix up the guest house. You guys can stay here, till then." Carlisle tells him.

"In who's room by chance?" Rosalie asks, raising her hand up. Carlisle shoots her a look, and she puts her hand down.

"I already have some great ideas for the interior." Esme says smiling.

"I'll have to register you guys in for school also. I'll tell them that you guys are family friends, that came to live with us." Carlisle says, standing by the entrance to the kitchen.

"Sorry we came unannounced guys. It was just to much." Leah apologies.

"It even felt illegal coming here. When Leah was driving over, a man stopped us at he entrance of the town and asked who we're here to see. Looked over our ID and everything. We showed him the information you gave us and he allowed is to pass. Felt like we had crossed a border into a whole new place."

"They're very protective of their town." Carlisle says.

A little suspicious. I hear Jasper say and I glance at him, our eyes making four.

"How about we go check out the house."  Esme tells them, changing the subject.

"Heck yeah!!" Seth shouts jumping out of his chair and rushing towards the back door.

"How old is he again?"

"You're suppose to know Leah. He's your brother." Jake replies, walking after him.

Taking a seat on the couch, I pick up the remote, skipping through the channels, when the headline for the news catches my attention.

"Good night and welcome back to Jashville News. A total of 10 more persons have now been reported missing and 2 found dead, in Darlington. The cause of death is still unknown according to the reports by the local police. This carries the amount of recent missing reports up to 45 and the death toll up to 105." I look back at Carlisle, seeing that he had paused.

"Chief Sargent Stone, met with reporters outside the station earlier today, and this is what he had to say."

It goes over to the Sargent, at a press conference holding.
"We are currently investigating the situation. Autopsies are being carried out as we speak, as well as investigations into all missing personnels. We ask for the general public's co-operation at this time."

" If you see a collective amount of officers in any area, please give way for them to carry out their operations. We are thoroughly investigating these cases, and wanting to make sure that our citizens are kept safe."

"Our hearts go out to each parent whose child has gone missing and also to the families of the two deceased individuals. We ask you if you may have seen, or have any information that can be of assistance to the department, please come down to the station and make a report or call the hotline number 775. The safety of Darlington citizens are our priority and we are and will do all that we can to attain that. Thank you."

"What's going on in Darlington?" Emmett says.

(A/N.Darlington, is far up north to Jashville. Remember,some places mentioned are actual places. Darlington is a real place in the UK, Jashville however is not. Okay back to the story😉.)

"Do you think it's our kind?" Bella asks Carlisle.

"I have a friend who lives close by, maybe he can give us some detail." Carlisle says as we continue to watch the news.

"And if it is your kind,that means the Volturi is aware of it." Jacob states.

"Most likely they are." Carlisle replies.

"I'm home." We all look towards the living room entrance.

"Honey!!! How was work?" Esme runs over to Luis.

"It was good. How was your day?" He says, leaning down to kiss her.

"It was good as well. Ness seems to be advancing faster than we would have thought." Esme replies wrapping her arms around his waist.

"Is that so? Seems I'll have to increase the technicality of her work then. I'll try out 10th grade assignments and see how she does." He says.

Luis James.

After the battle in Forks with the Volturi, we were at peace. Until Alice got a vision of Esme meeting her mate. I find it very interesting that he showed up to Forks so suddenly. Only to find out later, he had already gotten sight of Esme when we when to collect Allister, but decided to wrap things up first in his old place of residence before coming to meet her.

Luis was 25 when he was attacked by a nomad in 1992, and remained on his own until coming to stay with us. In his human life, Luis was considered the smartest man in his town. An IQ of 210, he was the town's pride pride joy.

He was destined for many great things but his death came so suddenly and too soon. As the article said about him. The entire town mourned his death.

His high intelligence in human life only crossed over into his vampire life and now he teaches as a professor at Jashville University, teaching Quantum Physics. He's also the one in charge of organizing the syllabus for Renesmee's studies.

"Isn't that too big of a leap?" Bella asks him, caressing Ness' hair.

"Not likely. With her exponenial growth, the maturity of her mental, psychological and natural functionality of her brain is expected to increase significantly unlike other humans. Especially after the recent discovery of exactly just how fast-moving her development of growth is, it is naturally expected, for her to advance this rapidly." He replies, only making Bella more worried. I give him a look, asking him to simplify his reassuring.

"She's going to be just fine Bella. No need to worry." He tells her, with a smile.

Carlisle's POV

I sat in my office going over some of my patient's files. Everyone was off to their own business in the house. The last I checked, I think Jake was with the Clearwater siblings, organising the guest house. The couples went hunting together and Bella, Edward and Ness were having family time in the piano room.

Ive been keeping an eye on the recent missing reports in Darlington. Mostly men are going missing. I came across an article that gave more details on the two men that died.

"An autopsy was recently done on the two men that we found dead today. Reports are saying that the cause of death is alcohol poisoning. Dr. Adams says that both men had a very high percentage of alcohol in their systems, which lead to their overdose."

"Do you think we should be concerned?" Looking up I find Edward standing in the doorway.

"Concerned about what?" I ask him, confused.

"The Darlington issue."

"Ah. I don't think so. If it is our kind, the Volturi will take care of it. It's nothing we should involve ourselves in." I say, closing the file.

"I saw another interview with the family of both men. Said they are not friends, and have never met or heard of the other man before. So how is it that these two strangers, from two different parts of Darlington, end up at the same abandon building together, drinking? Anyone would be suspicious about the reports given." He adds and I lean back in my chair, processing the new information.

"Did contact your friend yet?" I raise back up.

"I was going to call him after this, but I'll call him now since we're on the topic." Picking up my phone, I dial Zeke's number,putting it on speaker. It rings for a few seconds before he answers.

"Carlisle Cullen. It's been a decade. How are you?"

"All is well old friend. How are things with you and the family?"

"Everyone is doing great on this end as well. Heard you almost went to war with the Volturi. Feeling audacious?" He jokes, making me chuckle.

Zeke could not join us as a witness, seeing as he had other personal engagements himself.

"Seems word travels fast."

"Well what did you expect. Someone challenges the Volturi Kings, of course the entire vampire world was buzzing. Word of the Cullens creating an immortal child. I was shocked at first, but Val assured me that it was not the case. Half human, half vampire. Making history out here Carlisle."

"Ha ha ha. How is Val anyway?"

"Busy in the flower shop as always. I sometimes have to drag her home."

"Expected. I heard about the news recently."

I've known Zeke since 1940. Met him around the same time I met Rosalie. However "the Coven life was not for him", as he put it. He continued on by himself before meeting Val in 1997 to which they then moved to Darlington in 2000.

"Hmm." He says all humor gone from his tone.

"Do you think it's our kind?"

"Yes and no. Dr. Adams is a colleague of mines. Good friends him and I. He thinks that vampires are indeed involved, but they're not working alone. Alcohol poisoning was the proven autopsy only because it was in their system,but that's not how they died." He told me.

"It's not? Then how did they?" Edward blurts out.

"Eddy boy! I was wondering when you would speak. How are you? Heard you out here making history."

Edward shakes his head, chuckling.
"I'm doing good Zeke."

"Zeke! Oh...Who are you talking to?" I hear Val ask in the background.

"The History Makers." He jokes and I roll my eyes.
"Stop it. Hi boys!"

"Hi Val."
"Hello Val."

"Are you boys talking about the recent news? Zeke told me that both men's lungs were completely deflated. The air was completely sucked out of them." She tells us.

"But how is that even possible?" Edward asks in disbelief.

"The only type of people I know are able to control air like that are Els." Val says.

"Every good has a evil, as the saying goes. And as sad as it may be, there seems to be someone causing these things and they seem to be working with vampires as well." Zeke added.

"Els and Vampires working together like this. Could it be that someone is planning something?"

"Whatever it maybe Carlisle, it's weird that only now they are showing themselves,and why Darlington? Out of all places in the world. Why there?" Zeke says

"Hmmm. Keep me updated will you." I tell him, just as the others enter the room.

"I will. Tell the fam I said stop challengin-Val!!" We all laugh, hearing  just how hard she hit him.
"Tell them we said Hi Carlisle." She says.

"Will do Val." I reply laughing.

"She's so aggressive,but I love her." He growls, her soft giggles coming through the speakers.
"Stop it." She shyly says, making Zeke chuckle.
"Later guys."

"Bye." I end the call.

"Els? What are Els?" Seth asks.

"Els are a species of supernaturals that control the elements. Each El is born with one significant element of control, sometimes some are born with two according to how strong their parental gene is." I answer Seth's question.

"Wow. They must be very powerful." Leah notes.

"They are indeed. I have studied on them before. Fascinating beings, if I'm honest. But I don't understand why they are showing like this. They are not normally the violent bunch." Luis says.

"Even then, though they are not the violent bunch, that doesn't mean there are not those within that like violence."

Marianna's Pov

I look out at the window, taking in the beautiful view of the kingdom.

Sighs...why do the times darken like this.

Eltria

"Mother!" I turn to my son.
"Everyone is waiting for us." I get up from my seat, walking towards him. He grows in charm as time passes.

"I thought you said you were going to shave off your beard?" I say, touching his face.

"I was... but I'm starting to love the look." He puts his arm out for me, which I take and we walk out the room.

"Just like your father. I've been trying to get him to shave for some time now. Don't get between a man and his beard he says." I shake my head.
"But he does look mighty handsome with it." I say, causing him to laugh.

We walk down the beautiful corridor, the guards opening the dinning room doors for us.

Dinning Room

"There you two are. I was just about to come get you." My husband Winston asks over to us.

"You look radiant as always my darling. Happy Birthday."

"She's always with you Winston, give me my best friend."Reinelle says pushing him out the way, before he could reach me.
"Happy Birthday Mari. How aunty's precious doing today?" She rubs my belly.

"You should not push your king."

"I just did." She answers back. Winston goes to say something but I raise my hand, stopping him.

"Not today both of you. And he's doing fine. He's been kicking none stop recently."

"It's expected 7 months in and all." She says leading me to my sit. Winston following behind like a lost puppy.

"Hi Mari. You look beautiful." Reinelle's daughter Reianne, tells me.

"Thank you darling." She walks over to Ethan, who walks her to her chair, pulling it out for her. She thanks him, sitting down blushing. To which he then, sits next to her.

"Mhmm. I've been watching that as well." Winston tells me. I glance at him, smiling.

My in laws approach me, Winston's mother beginning to gush over my belly as she does everytime she sees me.

After the death and losing my baby girls, I was not ready to make another child yet. And when I was ready, we had so many complications that only after 8 human cycle years, Ethan was born and now I'm pregnant once again with my second son.

"I have to say Mari, I rather this over an annoying party full of fake people." My mother in law says sitting down.

"Mom." I laugh.
Winston likes to throw these big extravagant parties for my birthday, however this time, I requested to spend time with my family only.

"My dare wife know you desired this for her birthday this year, and who am I to deny her her desires." He says taking, my hand in his, bringing it up to his lips, kissing it. 

"Well well well. What do we have here?" We all look to the entrance. My eyes widen in shock at who stood there.
"A family meal without little ole me?"

"What are you doing here Gastron?"
