Bernard's Pov

"Carry them to their cubicles. Make sure you lock the door."

"Yes sir." I watch with a smile on my face, as they passed with our sleeping guests, separating each according to their species.

Gathering them would not of been easy with regular force, so we acquired the system to bring them all to their knees, before injecting them with the serum.

"Who are you?!" One of women shout fighting against the guards that are holding her.

How is she awake?

"You bastard!" Feisty slams her head back into his face, causing him to let her go, she tries to make a run for it but mother guard holds her, pushing her with great force into the cube.

"How is she awake?" I turn to the guard.

"We don't now sir. We gave her the same as the other humans." I hum, looking at her again, a sinister smile coming on my face.

Fascinating.

Idea of how their cages look.

"Seems our wolfy friends are waking up father." Evon says, leaning against wall near the entrance door to the lab.

"Indeed." I turn to the cubicle behind me, the wolves and vampires, slowly waking up. The oldest looking boy starts shaking in anger, shifting into his wolf. Running towards me.

I let out a loud laugh, as he slams into the glass. He does it three more times, before stopping.

"Again." I say taunting him.

He growls at me, breathing heavily.

I laugh, standing up. Glancing at my vampire friends, who all stood looking at me.

"Fool. Did you really think so little of us." My son says, and I chuckle.
He walks up to him, hitting against the glass, irritating him more. The loud noise waking up our remaining guests.

Finally.

"Welcome one and all. I'm sure you are aware of who I am, but why don't I let your good ole friend, tell you." I look to Javier, who was hiding himself a bit behind two guards.

I chuckle.
"Javier! Why don't you come tell your friends why they are here." He steps out from behind them, coming forward.

"This is Mr. Bernard. Leader of the Hunter's Clan." He says.

"Ho-how could you do this? You're my mate." The cafe women speaks, staring directly at him.

Ahh yes. I fold my arms, smiling smugly, awaiting his response.

"Come on lover boy. Tell them how you've been our eyes and ears this entire time." Evon mocks.

"Are you serious Javier?! We trusted you! How could you betray us like that!! What about Ms. D?"

"When?" Ms. D I assume speaks again, her eyes focused on him. Her dark expression, making me smile.

"What?"

"When did you start planning with them?!"

"I was always with them, the whole reason I came to Jashville was to find the Elementress. Got access to enter through his father," they all glance to the couple.
"Why? Because Jashville is a place of refuge. When the bounty was placed out, we assumed they would of come to Jashville, but they didn't. And just when I had thought to give up and come back here, Gwen moved to town." He chuckles.

"I wasn't sure as yet if it was her, but when I was, I notified Mr. Bernard immediately. Seeing as she grew close to you, I said as well. WI never expected it the help of a friend, we were able to make you believe that I was your chosen."

"What are you?"

"A half breed. One of my many successful projects. Half vampire, half human." I smile.

"So it was all apart of this plan?" We all look to the petite woman.
"A pawn to your pathetic little game." Her calmness was terrifying. The look one makes when they desire to hurt the person in front of them.

She chuckles, a smile coming unto her face.
"For the first time in my entire life, a recipe comes to mind, that will be the sweetest I have ever cooked." He shifts on his feet, making me chuckle.

"She's gonna kill you Javier." Darcel laughs.

"I wouldn't laugh if I were you Darcel." The reunions are fascinating to watch.

"Oh please Reinelle, what can you possibly do. You're in there, not me." She taunts going up to their cube. The woman walks forward, and Darcel takes a step back.

I mentally laugh.
It's pathetic.

"I find it funny you can only say that with this glass between us. Why don't you open it up and say that again to my face."

"Rei, it's not worth it. She'll get what's coming to her soon. They all will." The queen says. Javier told me she is approximately 8 months.

Feeling my eyes on her, she places a hand protectively around her stomach. I smile brightly, and she scowls at me.

I look towards the couple of Jashville, and I smile.

"How is your dear father?" They all look to the couple again.

"Dead."

Damn.

"Well...umm then."
My eyes land on the human child who was being held protectively by the older vampire. A natural born half breed.

I'll deal with her later.

"Why are you doing this? Is it really just to get back at those who laughed at you? Hurting innocent people for fun." We all laugh.

"Do you really think I would still do all of this to get back at the fools who laughed at me, when they are already dead. That I would send spies into Jashville and other Kingdoms because they all laughed at me."

"Then what is your aim?"

"I enjoy it." I smile.
"I am a scientist after all. Do you know the significance each of your DNA had. The share magnificence of its power."

"But achieving that means many will die." One of the young vampires boy say. I shrug.

"All for the greater good."

"You mean you're good. You experiment on others because it's fun for you to do." His words slowly begin to enrage me. How does he know this?

"That's why, when your higher ups found out, they had you removed."

"Because they themselves were supernatural!" I yell in anger.
"They knew of the world we lived in and did nothing to advance that. You monsters deserve to be tested on."

"I think you should look in the mirror and see who really is the monster here." Narrowing my eyes, at the boy. Javier said he's related to the Elementress.

I'll make him my first prospect.

I begin to smile, and he watches me confused.
"Why don't you all rest, I'll come collect you if you are necessary." Turning, I walk towards the stairs.

Ms. D Pov

"How do you guys know him?!" Jacob shouts as soon as he leaves.

"No shouting across the room mutt!!" The guards shouts.

"I bet you won't come in here!!"

"How do you know him?" I ask John, and he sighs.

"The entire reason my family...our families established Jashville was to protect the supernatural world. Give them a place of refuge, after years and of them being hunted.

As I said not many know of the History of Jashville. Seeing as generations have passed. Two years ago, my father started acting suspiciously, and my grandfather and I found it strange. After keeping close eye on him, we found out that he was selling information regarding some of the persons who lived in Jashville. "

"As we told you guys, trust and privacy is a big thing with our families. You can say it's our oath." Wilma says.

"We went to confront him, and it turned out the person he had sold information on was of the Kingdom of Alecia. The mer-princess who was staying here for her protection until her family could deal with the matter they were facing. During their departure she was kidnapped, thankfully she was able to be retrieved before she could leave Jashville, and my father was trialed by their court and found guilty of treason and sentenced to death." I gasp in shock.
"There really wasn't anything we could do. He should of known the consequences of his actions would be detrimental." He explained.

"Wow. And here I thought Jashville was just a quiet little ole town down south." Jacob mutters, sitting back down on the floor.
"How did you guys even acquire all that land?"

"A story for another day. But I had no clue he was also working with Bernard, or that we had spies within the town. He could of been the person they were going to take her too."

"Could be. He might of wanted her DNA." Jewel states.

"What could be his end plan with getting Gwen? Is it just for her powers?" Leah asks.

"I'm not particularly sure anymore." I say, sitting down. Jewel comes to me, putting her arm around my shoulder.

"When they attacked Voltera," Heidi I believe her name is begins to speak.
"A letter came stating it was all apart of the plan. Maybe this is all apart of it. A little game that he enjoys to play."

"He's a scientist after all." The guard by the door begins to laugh and we look at him.

"The Elementress is the plan." He says smiling.

"What?" The queen gets up, walking up to the glass.

"The experiments, the testing, the getting rid of those who laughed him, that was for his enjoyment."

"The Elementress is, and has always been the end goal."

"Why?"

"Like if I would tell you."

"Like if you know." He glares at Jacob.

We were suppose to be at the Johnson's house. Getting a tour of the compound, but here we are, locked up in a stupid scientist's facility like if were his favorite science project.

I could think of the menu now for Javier. Sweet potato pie, honey barbecue chicken cutlets, my favorite green peas and a slice of my famous Apple pie, topped with whip cream and sweet taste of death.

To cruel?
I let out a deep sigh, walking to the wall, sitting down. Jewel comes to sit next, the Volturi vampires not taking their eyes off her.
