Gwen's POV

Next Day

"Hey Martha good morning."

"Morning Gwen and good morning Aidie Waydie. You look cute as always" she says taking him from me.

"Tank you" he says with the biggest chubby cheek smile.

Argh my heart!

"He had a bottle already, and I put the banana instead, since you said he didn't like the pawpaw." I hand over his bag.

"Okay no problem. Give momma kiss before she goes Aidie." He leans over to me, giving me a big kiss on the cheek.

"You behave for Martha today okay. Momma will see you later." I say, kissing his cheek as well.

"Have a great day Mar." I wave, walking back to the car. Henry sat in the passenger seat on his Nintendo. I'm not even shocked.

Beeping my horn at them, I drive off.

"Did you hear about the family that just moved here?"

"Yeah. Everyone's talking about them in school. They're all juniors." He says still playing.

"I heard seven of them will be starting school."

"Yeah, but in total I heard it's ten of them moving here. Carlisle Cullen aka Dr. Cullen, is their adoptive father and his sister and her husband stay with them as well."

"And how do you know all of this?" I ask shocked. Pulling up at a red light, I look at him fully.

"Don't underestimate the investigative skills of small town teenagers. They moved here from Forks." He states, glancing at me and then going back to his game.

"Wow okay." I drive off again.

We pulled up into the car park and a few seconds after us three strange cars pulled up. The entire carpark became quiet and all attention drawn to them.

"I hope they can handle the stares."

"I have a feeling they can." He says getting out the car.
"Later." He says closing the door and walking off.

"Have a good day!!" I shout after him. He turns back, waving at me.

"You too."

I glance over at the new kids one last time before driving off.

Edward's POV

The moment we arrived, all attention turned to us. Our cars are basically that same, only upgraded. I mean, it's my baby.

"Oh my gosh it's them."
"Do you think the guys are single."
"Wow talk about babes."

"Can they talk any louder." Rosalie says rolling her eyes.

"Oh come on babe. Get raid of the grumpiness. It's our first day." Emmett tells her, throwing his heavy arm over her shoulder, as we walk towards the school building.

"Hi we're new here." Alice says as enter the administration office. The petite women looks up from her book, and her face lights up with a smile.

"Oh hello dears. I'm Wilafred Kingston, school's head administrator.We don't really have many new comers to town, so if no one has said it yet, welcome to Jashville." She says a smile on her face.

She was indeed the first person to welcome us. Excusing herself, she headed to the back to retrieve our schedules. I couldn't help but chuckle, when she got down from the chair. She was a lot shorter than she appeared.

"Oh cute." Alice says.

"Okie Dokie. These are your schedules. I'm sorry I can't show you all around, something came up urgently. But I did ask a school favorite, if he could. He's suppose to be arriving any moment now." She says, looking at her watch on her wrist.

"That's not true man!!" We here someone shout.

"Speak of the fellow. Here he is." We turn behind a boy sporting his varsity jacket.

"Sorry for being late Ms.K." 

"That's alright. These are the new kids I was telling you about. James here is Captain of the football team. He'll be showing you guys around for me."

'Wow. What do they eat to look this good.' I hear him think.

Wouldn't he like to know.

We follow after him, as he guides us through the school.

"Welcome to Jashville High. The gateway to the big world for us small town teenagers. I hope you guys can handle being stared at and talked about, because that's exactly what is going happen.

Kids around here have no sense of...what's the word? Yes..that's it. Decorum. They stare without care and have no problem talking about you right in your face." He says stopping and turning around to us.
"I am James Johnson. Captain of the football team as well as Captain of the M.O.B.C...Minding Our Business Club. We mind our business, do our work, hang with our friends and go home. We don't have no time to be focused on anybody else's business but our own. Where are my manners. What are your names?"

'I like this kid.' I hear Emmett say, looking at me.

"I'm Edward Cullen, this Bella Cullen. That's Alice Cullen, next to her Jasper Hale. The big one is Emmett Cullen, his girlfriend Rosalie Hale, and that's Jacob Black." I said introducing us. Everyone waving when their name was called.

"His Girlfriend?" He asks confused.

"Yes."

He remains quiet for a second. Looking at us.
"Again, your business. Can I see your schedules before I continue this-"

"Ehhemm!!" Our attention is drawn to a girl and her two friends standing behind James.

"James how can you forget to introduce your sister. Hi I'm Winnie Johnson. I'm the captain of the cheerleading team. If you beautiful ladies ever decide to join just let me know. And if any of you boys are looking for a date-"

"Winnie, isn't your boyfriend suspended?" Her brother dryly asks her. Emmett almost bursts out a luagh but covers it with a cough.
"Walk away." James tells her.

"Again I like this dude."

I couldn't help but agree. We all looked on as she argued with her brother before, turning around, stomping off.

"Sorry about that. Syblings by default. Moving on!" We laugh following after him.
"All official classes start at 8, however homeroom demands us to be here before 7:30 in the morning. I mean just start eight right?"

Finally over with the tour, we stood by our lockers which was not far from each other. Thankfully.

Jasper, Rosalie and Bella have History first period, while Alice and Emmett have Geography and Jacob and I have English. I won't say I don't like Jacob however at the same time I won't say I like him. He's tolerable. Plus he's basically family now so, we have to tolerate him.

Seth and Leah stayed behind in Forks after much convincing on Jacob's part. They are apart of Sam's pack again, just until Jacob figures everything out.

"You know maybe things might not be so bad after all." Jake says, closing his locker that was opposite mines.

"Hmm. How's Seth and Leah doing Jake?" Bella asks, coming to my side.

"Spoke to them yesterday. They hate it but they understand. I made Leah promise not to kill anyone." I chuckle.
"I think it's best they stay there for now until I figure out what to do."

"Well they could always come stay with us. I'm sure Carlisle wouldn't mind." Alice tells him.

"Oh great. Two more of them." Rosalie whispers but we all heard.

"Appreciate it but I think it would be better to like have our own place. As much as I tolerate y'all, I need space. Plus Carlisle said if I wanted, we can take the guest house out back. So I'm working together with him and Esme on that right now." The bell rings, and we bid our goodbyes, heading to class.

Gwen's POV

"You know Ms. D you be dressing up extra pretty these past few days. Who you tryna impress?" Jewel asks her, leaning on the counter.

Currently it's calm hour right now, so we're taking a little time to ourselves to eat some breakfast of our own, before the lunch rush.

"Seriously Jew, I always dress like this." She answers sipping her mocha chiller.

"Now don't give us that. You ain't slick Ms. D. Let me guess a certain Mr. Javier is passing today?" Her eyes widen a little, and she tries to play it off like but I already saw it.

"Why would you think it's him?" She replies back, trying not to be suspicious.

"So it is him?! I knew it!! I knew it!!" Jewel shouts running around the counter and coming to sit by us.
"The way the both of you be flirting with each other everyday. It's given."

"Oh calm down. It's not like we're going to get married. It's just innocent flirting." She waves us off.

"Are you trying to convince us or yourself?" I ask, her smiling. She looks at me, a small smile on her face.

"He probably doesn't even want anything seri-"

"Now Ms. D. You and I both know that man like you. Even a blind person could see that."

"Changing topic. Did you hear about the new family? I heard they moved here from Washington. Dr. Cullen is said to be an amazing surgeon and single." She says wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"Now you know I'm not looking for any relationship right now." I tell her, biting into my chocolate glazed donut.

"And you're pushing me into one!"

"You know the guy. I don't even know the man!" Some customers come in before we could continue and Jewel goes over to help them.

"Oh please. You're not getting any older and Aiden is not an excuse to exclude yourself. Henry is old enough to watch him, and you practically live by me so."

"You know what happened the last time I had a relationship Ms. D."

"Yes, but that still doesn't mean you should never allow yourself the chance to meet the right one. Not all men are like him." She replies.

I didn't move here to meet anyone and I didn't think anyone would be interested honestly. I was a pregnant 22 year old with a 13 year old brother to take care of.

"Someone should make him a eunuch."Jewel says, coming back over to us. I look to her rendered speechless.

"Guys -" I started to say but got distracted, by the unknown car that pulled up. Ms. D turns to look behind her to see what caught me eye.

"Well I'll be." Jewel says.

We all watch as a very handsome man gets out his car, coming towards the door. I watch him awestruck. His confident stride,slicked back blonde hair.

Absolutely gorgeous.

Snap out of it Gwen.

The door chimes as he enters. Ms. D getting up to go greet him, where as me, I stayed right where I was. Head down. Not moving.

"Hello I am Darling Grace. I'm the owner of this Bakery. This is Jewel Mason" I hear her introduce.
"And this beautiful lady right here, who decided to stay seated is Gwen Benedict." She says pulling me from my seat. I kept my eyes to the floor not looking at him.

"Hi I'm Carlisle Cullen. I just moved here with my family. It's nice to meet you all. I heard that Darling's has the best pastries in town." I hear him say. Even his voice sounds handsome.

"That's the truth. Gwen why don't you serve him." My head snaps up to her. Eyes wide.
"Jewel, I think you should go check on that thing in the back." I can't believe she's really trying to set me up right now.

"Oh yes the thing. Excuse me while I go do that thing." Jewel says leaving us. With a hard nudge from Ms. D. I move off to the counter.

"Um...what can I get you Mr. Cullen?" I ask still not bringing my eyes to meet his.

"Please call me Carlisle, and I'll take...2 of your cheese pies and 2 sugar donuts please."

"Oh sure. That will be £30 sir."

"Sure." He hands me his card and I cash in his payment while Ms.D rushes to get his order.

"Here you go Mr. Cull- I mean Carlisle." I say handing him his card. Finally building up the courage, I look up at him, feeling my entire body freeze as our eyes meet.

The most beautiful golden yellow eyes looked down at me in shock. It seems he had taken off his shades at some point during my "not looking at him" episode. Many emotions were swirling through his eyes. Shock being the most evident one, but a look of longing was there as well.

"Ehhem!" Breaking eye contact, I look towards Ms. D who had a devious smile on her face. She hands Carlisle his pastries.

"Thank you. It was a pleasure meeting you all." Our eyes meet one more time before he hesitantly leaves.

"Not looking for any relationship my foot. Let's see you deny that connection you two just had. I tell you love at first sight. Don't you agree Jewel."  To which Jewel agrees, smiling.

"Don't encourage her Jewel" I say still looking after him. He gets into his car, not driving off immediately.

"You're not really going to pretend like that didn't just happen right? Please tell me you're not." Jewel asks me.
"The guy looked at you like he finally found his one true love."

I watch as he finally drives out the car park, before turning to them.
"Guys. Let it go."

"Things are getting interesting around here. We may have a wedding soon." Ms. D says beaming.

"A wedding!? Ms. D, I just met him."

"Oh...so after you get to know him then?" Rolling my eyes, I ignore them walking towards the back.

Why do I have a feeling, I will be seeing more of him.
