Aro's Pov contin.

"Work with the Cullens!!!"

"Master Aro. How can we work alongside them." Jane says.

"You heard what the wise one said. The Elementress we are looking for, just so happens to be Carlisle's mate."

Seems putting differences aside is necessary. Caius on the other hand, has been berserk ever since I revealed what the Wise One meant.

"I will not work with them!!"

I sat in the single chair, in the living room of our hotel suite. Caius pacing up and down the very classy floor. If he continues, he'll ruin the good carpet.

I look over to Jane and the others. Each taking a corner of the room to themselves. I assigned Corin and Heather to remain back in Volterra with Athendora. Truly when all this is over, I will have to change the human. Marcus sat at the dinning table, watching Caius' antics with tired eyes.

If he is to come to knowledge of the truth of Didyme's death,I know all to well those tired eyes would be filled with hatred.

Do I regret it? No. He would of left the coven if I didn't. However I can only hope that maybe one day, he can have someone like that again.

"Caius sit down. Your pacing is giving me a headache I can't have." I tell him. We already have this whole situation to deal with, and now that word is spreading that Sulpicia has died, and that someone attacked the Volturi castle, many are talking.

"Aro, you cannot truly be thinking to work alongside them!"

"Caius with everything going on right now, I would think you'd be a little more lenient. The Elementress is the person we need to defeat this war. In more kinder words...suck it up." Marcus dryly tells him. A small chuckle leaves my mouth. However if looks could kill as the humans say, Marcus would be ash.

"Jane dear have you heard any word from Demetri?"

"Yes master. They arrived in Darlington yesterday. He spoke to a few of our trusted men, it seems that the Fairy king has teamed up with The Fai king."

"Of course he would. I wonder if he got the same option like us." Marcus says.
"Exactly which species is he targeting? We know that vampires are with them."

"There's more to the story than you think, Master Aro. Sometimes enemies scheme plans,just for their own enjoyment. "
I hear the Wise One's voice in my ear.

What could that possibly mean? What could they be planning that they would find enjoyable?

"As well as Els. Now fais are on his side." Caius adds, bringing me out of my thought.

"Who else?" Marcus says.

"Felix said that he got the wiff of a werewolf near where they were staying." Alec says.

"There aren"t many werewolf packs situated around those parts." Marcus says.

"I think this Anderson will go more for the ones without leadership. If I am correct Marcus? Werewolves have a rule of not exposing themselves to humans right." He nods.

"Rogues however have a tendency to be more violent than those in packs. Even then,not all rogues are actually bad, though at the same time, many of them desire power."

"He seems to be very active in Darlington though Master. Could his main base be there?" Afon asks.

"Why set up base in Darlington?" Caius asks.

"There's more to the story than you think Master Aro."

I look at my coven, as they continue to discuss.

What could that mean?

"And can't those wise ones put an end to this!!"

"They are here to bestow us with their wisdom Caius, not fight for us." Marcus says lazily.

"My hands itch to hurt you Brother. Suddenly, you're a lot more talkative?"

"You tell me." Caius releases a growl at Marcus, who only smirks at him. Not at all afraid of Caius' temper, and such a temper it is indeed.

The contraption they call a phone begins to ring off in my pocket, and I answer it.

"Felix."

"Master we've got the location of the Cullens. They've moved to a town called Jashville in the UK."

"Meet us there."

Gwen's Pov

"Alice has anything changed since?" Carlisle asks her.

"No nothing as yet."

"Has there been any problems in Volterra sin-" Jasper starts but is cut off by Carlisle's phone.

"Hello Zeke.... okay hold on." We all watch as he pulls the phone from his ears, pressing most likely the speaker button.

"Am I on speaker?"

"Yes Zeke go ahead."

"Carlisle word just came in of the death of Queen Sulpicia."

"What!!" All the vampires in the room shouted.

"Yes. The Volturi has not said anything of it yet, but people are talking. One of the minor guards gave confirmation that it's true."

"But who will have the guts to attack the Volturi. Plus kill Aro's Queen?" Esme says.

"Could this be why they are suddenly interested in me. Could they also know about the war that is brewing? About what the Fai king is doing?" I ask.

"Carlisle a lot is happening right now. Darlington is on an uprise right now, the amount of people that went missing today itself has caused authorities to issue a state of emergency. Also a report of a vampire being seen by a few officers was made. Reports say he entered the police station killing a few of them and left two officers alive.

Authorities are trying to keep it on the low, but how much can they. What in the world is going on Carlisle? Turn to Channel 7 now."

Alice runs over to the tv turning it on.

"Police officers at Darlington Police Station are affirming that they have seen of a vampire. After one entered the police station last night killing 7 officers. Plus the sighting of what seems to be a very giant wolf was seen walking around in East Darlington main road this afternoon. Thankfully no on was hurt but many videos of them are circulating on the internet. It truly is amazing people. Are the stories we were once told to scare us as children, actually real? And is the world safe-" The station starts to break up. Showing the multicolor screen before it turns black. The image of a man pops up on screen. He stands there in a black suit, a big smile on his face.

"Hello Cullens." He waves, before placing his hand on his chest.
"I do apologize for interrupting your regularly schedules news, it's just that there is a very important person I need to talk to." The entire room becomes deadly silent, as we all watch the screen.

Exactly who is he working with, that he is able to access the TV like this.

His eyes turn to me, as if knowing exactly where I stood in the room.

"Ele Quintel. No Darla Santo. No my apologies...Gwen Benedict. The Elementress herself. I have been looking for you everywhere." He says.
"I'm sure you are aware of who I am. If not fully, it means momma dearest hasn't reached to you yet. Understandable seeing as they met with an attack before they left." I don't reply.

What attack?

"What is it that you want?" Carlisle asks him.

He looks at him, before looking back at me.
"For years, many supernaturals have been experimented on, hunted down like beasts. Many of us killed. Humans have continued to destroy what we call home."

"You're powers exceed you Gwen. It's more than just, the most powerful El. Think about all those innocent people who have died because of humans.With you on my side we can get rid of them."

"Why would I ever stand with you?"

"Ah yes. Great question. Fredrick bring our little friend please."He keeps his eyes focused on me. A big smile appearing on his face. My eyes shift off him, as I watch another man appear, holding Aiden.

"Aiden." His name leaves my mouth like a whisper in the wind. Where's Emmett and Rosalie?

"Jasper, Edward go now!" Carlisle shouts at them. They run out the house at command.

I hear Ness cry out, for Aiden. The entire room erupting in chaos.

I just stood there. Watching as my baby cried out for me, and there was nothing I could do to comfort him.

"M-mommy..." I felt my heart, slowly breaking into pieces, as he keeps calling out for me. The feeling of a knife, piercing through with each call of my name.

"I must say you raised a strong one. Gave Fred here a good hit to the face." He says chuckling.
"Take him back to the room." I watched as he left the screen but I could still hear his cries.

I slowly felt every reasonable concious thought leave my body.

How dare he touch my baby.

"Join me, Gwen. Let's put an end to them together. " He says and the screen turns black.

Shouts and cries fill the room again. My body felt like if it was burning. I had yet to move from my spot. The image of my baby crying, played like a broken record in my mind.

How dare he.

The figure of a body comes to stand in front of me. The feeling of my power rising, the burning sensation of my mark, traveling all the way to my hands. Placing their hand on my cheek. My eyes slowly rising to meet theirs.

"Darla."

"He has my son Amun."

Anderson's Pov
After the Tv message.

The door to my office opens and I hang up the phone.

"Is he asleep?" I ask Fredrick.

"Yes."

"Good good." I sit down on my chair.

"Do you really think kidnapping her son will get her on our side? We need her as an ally, not an enemy." Stopping what I was doing, I look up, giving Fredrick my attention.

"We need her to come to us. We'll explain everything then."
