Gwen's Pov
Next Day

Carlisle has decided to send some of the kids to school today despite their many reasonings as to why they shouldn't. Also him and Luis thought it best to take some time off from work and are working alongside his friend Zeke to figure out what could be going on.

I thought of letting Aiden stay home as well, but he was super ecstatic to go to school today. Practically begged me to let him go, after I told him he's not going today.

Funny, the others were giving reasons of why they shouldn't and Aiden wants to go. It seems Martha's throwing a fun day today and he really wants to go. So I spoke to Carlisle about it and he arranged plans for Emmett and Rosalie to keep watch over him while he is there.

Aiden's Outfit

"Awww. Doesn't my baby look handsome." Picking him up in my hands and tickling his belly.

"Stop mommy stop." He laughs.
"Aunty Rose and Alice picked out my outfit. I wanted to wear black but Aunty Alice said no." He pouts. I let out a little laugh.What can I say, like mother like son.

"I know how you feel baby, but you are rocking this green."

"Really?" His beautiful blue eyes sparkle as he asks. I swear, Aiden can get anyone to do anything for him with these gorgeous eyes. Should I be worried for when he gets older? I don't think I'm even ready for the thought of him having to date someday.

"Yes honey. Absolutely rocking it."

"Ab-Abso-abwolutely rocking it." He says fighting to say absolutely correct.

"Exactly. Now give me love before you go." Kissing up his chubby face. His cute giggles filling my ears.

"Do we really have to go to school today?" I turn behind me to see the were-trio walk in.

"Yes Seth. If all of you stay home from school they're going to find it suspicious,and we don't need anyone suspicious of us right now. Luis and I will be home with Esme, Ness and Gwen. Ms. D and Jewel both of you will go to the shop as usual. Jasper and Alice will be with you both to protect you. Emmett and Rosalie, you'll keep watch over Aiden at school. The rest of you off to school."

"No fair."

"Shut up Seth and let's go before we're late." Leah says pushing him, to which he throws her a glare. Giving Aiden one last kiss, I hand him over to Rosalie. I feel Carlisle walk up behind me. Placing his arm around my waist.

"Have a great day today bud."

"Okay daddy!! Bye mommy!!"

Everyone stops what their doing, looking at us in complete shock.

"He called you daddy." Ms. D says with her hand cover her mouth. Tears coming to her eyes.

Aiden looks around the room confused. His head tilted a little to the side, as if asking what's wrong.

"Nothing's wrong bud. They're just surprised you called me daddy." Carlisle tells him. His little mouth makes a oh shape, nodding his head.

"Okay everyone off you go. Stay safe please." I tell them.

"Don't worry Gwen. We'll be safe."

"Tell James and Winnie hi for me Henry!!" He shouts a I will as they all leave.

If your wondering, no. Henry and Winnie are not officially dating yet.

Flashback

"I know I said no dating yet but I thought you would of by now." I say sitting down next to him on his bed. His entire bed is covered in textbooks and papers.

"I get that she's my mate, but honestly speaking sis, if it wasn't for the bond, I don't think we would of ended up together anyway. She's a nice girl I admit that, but I'm not rushing into anything. I've never even wanted or had any interest in her before." He states.
"It's only because of James and I becoming friends, and our families getting close, that I actually saw her for more than the pompous popular girl at school."

"Oh."

"Don't worry about it sis." I nod.

"And here I was worried I'll have to give you the talk."

"Oh please no. Get out my room Gwen." He says, getting off the bed. Coming to my side, pulling me up and pushing me towards the door.

"No but really Henry. No sex-"

"Get out Gwen!!" He slams the door in my face. I double over laughing, tears coming to my eyes.

"Henry!!" I knock on his door.

"Go away Gwen!!" Laughing more, walk away heading downstairs.

I won't torture him...

End of Flashback.

"Love, I spoke to Zeke about everything. Him and his wife are going to come here and see us. We think he may have some information on what's going on-"

"Carlisle!! The Volturi is looking for Gwen!!" Alice says running back in the house with Jasper, Ms. D and very tired Jewel behind her.

"Listen here Alice!! I...I can't run fast like you!! I am human. Slow down." Jewel says trying to catch her breathe.
"She..goes into freeze mood and then just starts shouting at Jasper to turn the car around."

"Alice got a vision while we were on our way. She saw the Volturi asking around about the Elementress." Jasper tells us.

"Why would they be looking for me? I have nothing to do with them." I look to Carlisle.

"We know how Aro is Carlisle. Maybe he heard of Gwen's power." Alice states.

"We cannot make any assumptions Alice. Why would they all of a sudden be interested in an El?" Luis says.

"Who's the Volturi now?" We all look to Jewel.

"The vampire kings. They rule over the vampire kingdom." Esme explains to her.

"Oh. The bad guys who wanted to kill ya'll before. But why would they be looking for Gwen though?"

"With all that has been happening in Darlington. It's not surprising that they have been investigating it." Jasper says.

"But that still doesn't prove as to why they would be looking for Gwen." Ms. D says.
"Something must have happened."

Aro's Pov

"Aro Volturi." I tell the doorman.
He looks us all over, before opening the door, letting us into the small house.

Jane and Alec stood near the entrance, The others remaining outside, keeping watch of the area.

"Wise one." I watch as the elderly yet very beautiful woman, sat on her chair. 

El's and their slow aging features.

Her house was small, surrounded by majestic trees, giving it a very ancient feel. Books lining the walls like wallpaper.

"Aro Volturi. What do I owe this wonderful pleasure? I assume you come seeking information on The Elementress?" She picksnup her cup of tea, taking a sip.

"Why don't you all sit and let's chat." She rests the cup down on the side table.

"We would rather stand." Caius says on edge.

"If you choose. Even though Mr. Caius, I have more reason to be on guard than you. The most elite of vampires are in my household." She spoke her words with such eloquence. Slow and precise.

"Let's be honest Wise One, we are not the only ones in this room." I state, sitting down on the sofa. She looks to me, a small smile coming unto her lips, confirming my words as true.

"What do you require to know of the Elementress, Master Aro?"

"Someone is planning a war. Plans to go up against the human world." I tell her, and she nods.
"After the multiple reports of missing persons in Darlington, we started investigating."

"And why do you seek my wisdom?"

"The newborn we captured mentioned an Elementress, before he died. I have heard of stories of an El being the most powerful of your kind." Marcus replies.

"So you come to me seeking assistance to find her. Is that it?"

"You are the wise one." Caius says. She stares at him for a few seconds before turning back to me.

"There are many things I cannot say-"

"Then-"

"But know this..." She sternly says cutting Caius off.
"The Elementress was born to put an end to this war. It's the sole reason for her birth. Going up against the human world, will require even the greatest of enemies to work together." Her eyes bored into mines, as she spoke.
"Are you willing to put differences aside for the betterment of your world, Master Aro?"

"Put differences aside? What does that have to do with anything!?" Caius shouts.

"Such a nasty temper."

She turns looks back at me.
"Finding the Elementress, and working with her, will require you to put aside differences with a former, how do I put this." Shethinks about it.
"Ah Yes, that's it. A former...coven mate." I was confused at first at what she meant, before a vision of Carlisle, smiling down to a beautiful woman flashed before my eyes.

"She's with them?"

"She's his mate." She states, smiling.

Just what I needed.

"And what about the person who is wanting to start this war?"

"There's more to the story than you think Master Aro. Sometimes enemies scheme plans, just for their own enjoyment." She tells me, picking up her cup, toasting to me.
