Gwen's Pov

Walking into the living room, I find no one else there, but Esme.

"Esme-"

"They're in the tv room." Henry wastes no time running off to it. Shaking my head I walk to sit on the stool, watching Esme cook dinner.

"You're going to make Ms. D mad with you." I tell her and she laughs.

"Can you believe it? She says I'm never letting her cook anymore. I've never had any reason to, and now since meeting you all, our life has completely changed. Who would of thought, huh." Placing down the bowl filled with chocolate batter.

"I didn't mean to easedrop on you and Henry's conversation, but I really do hope you know that we are here for you." She says.

"The kids practically see you all as family. I swear Emmett never shuts up about you, and Renessmae adores the ground you walk on. Your like a little sister to me, and even though Luis may not talk much, he cares deeply for you. And so does Jacob and his clan. And we all know Carlisle is undeniably in love with you." She says, wiggling her eyebrows, making me laugh.

"I just want you to know Gwen, in spite of what happens, we're here for you and will stand with you. I know the reason you were practically born was to defeat the chaos, but that does not mean, that is your only reason for being here. You have a family that loves you, and who'll fight with you." I can feel the lump raising in my throat, but I hold my tears back.

"Honey we're home!!!!" A traiter tear falls from my eyes when I blink but I wipe it away fast. I feel to heavy arms fly around my neck. Almost making me fall off the stool.

"Bestie!!! I missed you. When are you coming back to work? It's dreadful without you." Jewel says, before taking a seat on the stool next to me. I look to Ms. D. She's not suppose to be here.

"It slipped that you would be home today, and she wouldn't take no for an answer." She says.

"Sure right I wasn't. I want to make sure my Henry is doing okay. Is he still sick?"

We may have lied and told Jewel that Henry came down with a bad cold, and I couldn't come in to work until he was okay.

"No way dude!! Definitely won."

"Seriously James. Stop trying to redeem yourself from losing to Emmett. Take your loss like a champ." The boys all enter the kitchen, laughing.

"Hey Gwen, James-" His smile slowly falls from his face. Looking from Jewel to me and then Jewel to me again.

"You seem to be doing a whole lot better ." Jewel says turning to me, her arms folded over her chest.
"He looks like a whole new person!"

"Mummy!!!" Aiden shouts, breaking the awkward silence that was once in the room.

"Hey baby. Did you have fun out with Aunt Rose and they?" I say picking him up.

"Mhmm. Aunty Rose, Bella and Jacob took Ness and I to a lake. And then Aunty Alice and Uncle Jasper joined later. And Ness, Aunty Bella, Rose and I decided to push Uncle Edward into the water. He fell in and made a big slash!!" He says excitedly.

"Well I'm glad you had fun baby."

"Hey Aidie. Why don't you come with me upstairs, so we can get you changed?"

"Okay. See you after I change mommy." I let him down and he takes Rosalie's hand, pulling her upstairs.

No one says anything after they leave. Jewel looking at me with an angry expression.

"He wasn't sick was he?"

"No." I answer lowering my head in shame.

"Then why lie Gwen. I thought we trusted each other." She says and I can hear the hurt in her voice.

"I do trust you Jewel!"

"Not enough to tell me about this. You think I'm not aware of the weirdness of this whole situation. How these people are just strikingly too beautiful. Or how they all have the same eyes but are not related. Or how about the fact that these two, show up from no where, and have this weird kinda respect for Jacob." She exclaims.

"Not forgetting that Ness seems to have gotten older everytime I see her! And don't get me started on how the atmosphere tends to change whenever you get mad!"

"You were so nervous at Henry's game. The exact same time you started crying, the rain started falling. I never understood why Henry would always tell you to remain calm before you cause something. Or his constant jokes about you causing a storm or something!" I stare at her in shock. I didn't think..I didn't.

"I just thought Hey, maybe she'll tell me when she's ready, but no! And here I am, lying to some freaking dude who comes into the Cafe showing me a picture of you, but asking for a Darla Santo and not a Gwen Benedict. Saying that he's family, but I've watched to many LMN movies to know not to give out information to someone just because they say their family."

"What guy?" Ms. D asks.

"I think it's best we wait for Carlisle and Luis to be here and then we can talk." Edward suggests.

"I agree. It's best we tell her everything at once. So she can process it all at one time." Esme adds.

"It's more than I think isn't it?" She asks me.

"You may want to sit down." She sighs going over to the couch, sitting down and throwing her head back.

When Carlisle and Luis arrives home, we all one by one told Jewel our story. Her facial expressions changing so many times during the entire conversation, I was scared she'll lose her mind by the time we're done.

"And that's what's going on." I conclude. She watches me, starstruck.

"Imma need a drink."

"No drinking." I tell her, chuckling softly.

"I honestly thought you were just going to tell me that my mind was just playing tricks on me, and your some rich mistress hiding from her ex abusive husband." We all look at her amused. Some of the men chuckling.

"Seriously Jewel." I fold my arms.

"What?! I didn't expect this!" She says, throwing her hands in the air.
"You mean to tell me..." she puts her hand on her heart.
"My little baby Aidie Wadie, is half element controller?"

I laugh, nodding my head yes.

"And you really think this person who came to the shop today is connected to the persons who came to Ms. D house that day?"

"There is a possibility yes." Carlisle replies.

"So what are we doing? They seem to be really close to finding her if they came to the store and Ms. D's house. Luckily she wasn't there both times when they came."

"I'm sorry who's we?" There's no way I'm getting another innocent person involved in this mess.

She kinda already is.

But still.

"Come on Gwen. I'm not just gonna sit back and not do anything. I may not be vampire, werewolf, El or Fai. But I can help where I can. Like how I did today."

"Jewel-"

"Carlisle, what are we doing?" She says cutting me off. I shoot her a glare, which she just waves me off.

"Well currently we're waiting for Amun and his family to arrive. Which most likely will be tomorrow. We'll find out more information about everything, when he gets here." He explains to her. I shoot him a look.

"Don't look at him like that Gwen. Continue Carlisle." Jewel says, and I roll my eyes.

"We're taking turns in patrolling the area, and Gwen and they are actually staying at our house until. You may have to stay with us for now as well. You're now apart of this so we'll have to keep you safe."

"Okay. I'll have to pack up some of my clothes and necessities first but sure."

"Jewel please."

"I'm not abandoning you just because you're some most powerful, chaos ending boss Queen, Gwen. You know I don't basically have any family. My parents died when I was young and I'm an only child. You guys are my family. So no. Carlisle can one of the boys come with me to get my stuff?" She says standing up.

"Sure. Jasper and Edward can go with you. Pack enough clothes. You may with be staying with us for a while."

"By the way...how much bedrooms does your house even have if we're all sleeping there?" She asks.

"Oh.. um we don't sleep. Jacob and they stay in the guest house. It's a 7 bedroom house." Carlisle tells her. Passing his hand through his hair.

So handsome.

My eye catches Jasper's who smirks at me. I roll my eyes, but I couldn't stop the small smile that came on my face.

Edward and Jasper left a seconds ago, to help Jewel with her things. I

I decided to head upstairs to check on Aiden. I missed my baby boy.

"Hey Rosie." I see her holding an almost asleep Aiden in her hand.

"May I?"

"You don't have to ask." She says handing him to me.

"Still. I can't just grab him from you."

"I'll leave you guys. I haven't spent much time with my big baby since." She jokes leaving and I laugh.

"Hey buddy."

"Hey momma." I sit down in the rocking chair with him. Rocking us both.

"You had a great day today?"

"Mhmm." He rests his head on my shoulder. His arms around my neck.

I softly start humming, our favorite lullaby.

Lavenders green, Dilly Dilly.
Lavenders blue.
When I am Queen, Dilly Dilly
You shall be Prince.

I may have changed it up for my baby.

"Momma?"

"Hmm."

"I love you so much." He says raising his head a little and placing a soft kiss to my cheek. I felt my heart completely melt at his actions.

He's been speaking so fluently it was starting to scare me a bit. But Luis says I shouldn't worry, that his brain might just be advancing a little faster.

"I love you too baby." Placing a kiss on his cheek as well. I hear the door open and I see Carlisle walk in. He leans on the wall watching as I rock Aiden to sleep.

I send him a smile.

"Mommy?" He says with a small yawn.

"Yes baby?"

"I rweally like my new family. And daddy rweally loves mommy. I'm so... happy." His voice dies down at the end, his eyes shut close, letting me know he fell asleep.

I couldn't stop the tears from falling. I use my free hand to try and wipe them away, but it didn't make any sense. I look up to Carlisle who stood there jaw dropped.

Getting over his shock, he comes over to me.

"Stop crying love." He says so sweetly, that it only made me cry more.

Why couldn't everything just be this perfect forever.

Carlisle takes Aiden from me, resting him down in his crib, as I continue to cry.

"What if he gets hurt Carlisle?" I standto my feet.
"I won't be able to live if my baby gets hurt."

"We'll do everything we can to make sure that doesn't happen love. Stop crying please." He pulls me into his arms.

"He called you daddy." I whisper into his chest, as a new set of tears start falling. I couldn't help the joy I felt inside, knowing that Aiden finally has someone to call a father in his life.

"He did." He looks down at me. Smiles on both of our faces. He places a gentle kiss on my lips, my heart warming.

Please let everything stay like this.
