Edward Pov

"Whenever Alice looks into Gwen's future, she would always see her happily standing in a field of flowers. That was all she saw. Nothing else, nothing more. But now that field of flowers is dead, and her eyes glowing purple, but it's not the same purple we saw that day. and not like the purple we saw the last time. There was something completely different about her. She didn't look like Gwen."

"What could this possibly mean?" Leah asks.

"When we had the family dinner a few days ago. I caught Gwen watching everyone, but with her emotions she was worried, but it also felt like she was on guard." Jasper tells us.

"Could it be that something happened, and she didn't tell us?" Rosalie says.

"I'm not su-"

A phone begins to ring, and we all look to Rosalie.

"Ms. D?....We're doing well......Oh sure...Well Carlisle is not back yet....Okay we'll be right over." She says hanging up.
"Ms. D made some Apple pie. She's inviting us to come over."

"Should we tell her about what you saw?" Seth asks.

"Let's talk to Carlisle first. Then we'll know what to do." Luis answers.

Aro's Pov

"Felix!! Bring the prisoner!"

After leaving Forks, we have been somewhat peaceable with the Cullens...for now.

There has been a recent rise of vampires, working for an unknown source, we have been investigating the cause for a few months now.

"Do you really believe someone will be that foolish to go against us brother?" Caius asks Marcus.

"Foolish is not the word I will use Caius. These past few months we have been investigating these disappearances and they all have a similar trait. Someone is planning something and it's not something small brother." I turn to look at him, his eyes holding no emotion as always.

"Are you just ready to die brother?" I ask him. The memory of dear Alice's vision coming back to mind. The way how he just allowed them to kill him.

"I've lived quite a long time brother." He answers holding my gaze. We break eye contact when I see Felix and Demetri come in with a snarling man.

"Alec. Calm him please." Black smoke starts to leave Alec's hands, the snarling man immediately becoming numb of all emotion. Getting up from my throne I walk over to him. Taking his hand in mine, only to see nothing.

How?

"Who blocked your mind?" He laughs.

"Poor Aro, can't use his gift."

"So you know who I am?"

"Men must know every leader, boss says." He replies.

"Who is this boss?!" Caius shouts. He begins to laugh even more.

I step back analyzing him.

"Your temper will get you killed. One must learn to be calm. Silence before an attack is essential."

Hmm.

"Master, are you sure he is in his right mind? He speaks as if he's programmed." Jane says. Caius runs to him, throwing him across the room. He gets up immediately running back to him but Felix grabs him, slamming him to the ground.

"What's your name boy?" I ask.

If what Jane says is right, there's a way to go about this.

"Legion 1109."

"What is your purpose?" I ask and he remains silent.
"Jane."His screams fill the room. I wait a few seconds before stopping her.

" I'll ask again. What is your purpose? Why are you kidnapping humans in Darlington? " He looks me in my eye a smile coming unto his face. I smile back at him, and his falters.

"Jane dear." I let him suffer longer this time. He screams for me to stop her.

"Domination!!" He shouts out. I raise my hand, stopping Jane.

"What do you mean Domination?" Marcus says getting out his throne.

"No longer... will we be the lesser species. We will take our rightful place."

Domination? Sounds more like war to me.

"Impossible." Marcus whispers.

"Boss will remove anyone who does not comply to his plans. Do you comply?"

"The Volturi will bow to no one." I say my face hardening.

"Then you are an enemy!"

"And an enemy I will be. We have lived peacefully as we have for years. Humans have always been the weaker species. It's an insult to think that we have to prove that we are stronger."

"Boss says that we have to show our strength. We have to take action now before we are counted out!!"

"It seems your boss has been counted out his entire life. That's why he acts this way." Marcus says.
"Your boss, whoever he may be, has broken many of our laws and when caught will be found guilty."

"Boss will win!! When he gets the Elementre-" His suddenly freezes, his eyes widening.

A heart wrenching scream fills the throne room and we all cover our ears. Felix hisses letting him go. We watch in horror, as he continues to toss on the ground, clawing at his own skin.

His veins glowed a bright red. Before his entire body starts glowing as well.

"It's like he's burning from the inside out." Marcus says shocked. He releases one last scream before completely turning to ash.

We all looked to the ground in disbelief.

Seems a lot is about to take place.

Gwen's Pov

"No really Carlisle... Amun is really a teddy bear. He just plays hard headed."

Carlisle decided to take me out for dinner at Rayser's Beach and Dinning. We then proceeded to take a stroll on the beach before coming home.

Pulling up outside Ms. D's house I see Edward, Emmett and Luis's car outside.

"Seems they had their own fun." Carlisle chuckles.

"They always have their own gathering when we go out." I say smiling. Carlisle parks the car, same time I see Jasper and Edward walk out the door.

"Hey guys! Expected you to be here." I joke, thanking Carlisle for opening the door.

They glance at each other, looking back to us.

"What's wrong boys?" Carlisle asks, seeming to realize their serious faces as well.

"Henry-"

"What happened to Henry?" I say, immediately trying to pass them but Edward stops me.

"Stop trying to calm me down Jasper!"

"I'm sorry Gwen but I have to."

Please no.

"What happened!?" My voice coming out strained. Carlisle rests his hand on my lower back in a sense to comfort me, but it just felt irritating.

"We were on our way over because Ms. D invited us over for some apple pie. When we got here the door was wide open-"

Not listening anymore to what they have to say I push past them, running  in the house. The living room was completely trashed. Jacob and Leah knelt over Seth on the ground. Esme was kneeling down in front of Ms. D on her chair.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!" Looking around, but not finding Henry.

"Gwen pleas-"

"Don't tell me to calm down Ms. D and stop it before I hurt you Jasper!!" Alice snarls at me but Emmett holds her back.

"She doesn't mean it Alice." He tells her.

"Where is Henry?" I ask frantically, I could feel my mark tingling.

"Gwen..." Edward starts.

"Just tell me what happened!? Where is Henry and Aiden?"

"Henry and James are in his room." I turn around to look at Luis, who walked down the stairs.
"They're going through transition." He says, glancing to Carlisle.

"Trans-transition? A-Aiden? Where's Aiden?"

"He's upstairs with Rosalie,Bella and Nes. He was sleeping when everything happened." Ms. D wearily says.
"Edward and they reached just in time to stop them from doing anything else.

"Who is them?" Carlisle asks.

"We're not sure. Seth ran inside the house first. But when we heard him shift, we immediately knew something was wrong. When we got here, Henry and James were already starting transition and Ms. D was hurt on the floor. They were just about to go upstairs when Seth ran in the house."

"What is that they wanted?" I ask, my hands fisted tightly.

"They kept asking for the Elementress." Ms. D says looking at me.
