Gwen POV

Three Days Later

"Okay no Gwen listen. Aiden and Henry are going to be just fine." Ms. D reassures me, putting some of my hair behind my ears.

I think I'm just over thinking everything, but let's be honest, it's my first date in years. I have right to be. Ms.D had invited them over for dinner again two days after the first dinner, and Carlisle and I had a lot more time to talk. To which he invited me to dinner at Lavish, which is one of the top restaurants in Jashville for our date.

"Man got money and connections. Lavish is selective on who they let eat there." Jewel says.

"Now we're going to go downstairs. Don't come down until I introduce you." Ms. D says running out the door, pulling Jewel with her.

I look at myself in the mirror again. Not gonna to lie, Ms. D and Jewel did a good job.

Gwen's Outfit

"Okay don't be nervous. You got this."

Ding Dong!

My heart drops to my stomach.
"Nope. I don't got this. I do not got this." I could feel, the atmosphere of the room, becoming cold, and I start taking deep breaths.

Breathe Gwen Breathe.
Walking out my room, I wait at the top of the stairs for Ms. D to do her thing.

"Hello Carlisle, you look dashing!" I hear her say.

"Thank you Ms. D."

"Okay, stand right here... Okay great. Ladies and gentlemen!! I give to you, the beautiful, the amazing, the kindest and most darlingest flower in the bunch. Gwen Benedict." After she says it, the sound of classical music starts playing.

Really Ms. D.

But true to my dramatic nature, I slowing make my way down the stairs. My eyes connect with Carlisle's beautiful golden eyes. He looked dashing indeed in his black suit. His hair slicked back, and his gorgeous smile on display.

I mean...how is a man so gorgeous.

"You look absolutely beautiful Gwen." He says taking my hand and kissing it.

"Agree. Absolutely beautiful." Henry says walking over to us from the living room.

"Thank you Carlisle." I blush.
"Thanks Henry."

"Abwotely beauful." I giggle, giving his a kiss on his cheek.

"Thank you baby. Behave for Ms. D and Henry for me okay?" He nods his head cutely.

Saying our final goodbyes, we were on our way. Walking over to Carlisle's car, he opens the door for me.

"Than-"

"Such a gentleman!!" Ms. D shouts, causing us to laugh.

"Have a Lavish night Best friend!!" I quickly make my way in the car, before I made the ground swallow m up myself.

The car ride to Lavish, was quiet but comfortable. We shared a few words but all in all, we didn't say much.

Hopefully dinner would be better.

Pulling up outside the fancy restaurant, the valet comes over immediately, opening the car for Carlisle and another coming to my side. Making my way over to Carlisle, I take hold of his extended arm and we walk in together.

Many people turned to look at us, openly staring, but we paid no mind.

"Hello, reservation for Cullen."

"Welcome Mr. Cullen. Right this way." I was in complete awe of this place. The restaurant lived up to it's name. Even the tiles, looked expensive.

She leads us to a more private table in the corner.

"Just press the green button when you're ready to order Mr. Cullen."

"I will. Thank you." He kindly replies and she leaves us.
"Do you like it?"

"Like it? This is absolutely beautiful Carlisle." His...Have I mentioned how gorgeous this man is when he smiles. My word.

"I am happy you do." He pulls out the chair for me, and I thank him, sitting down. We both pick up our menus and y eyes almost flew out their sockets.

£205 for a soup! Is this water from the spring of life or something?

"Do you see anything you like?"

"Umm..."

"Don't worry about the prices Gwen." I look up to him.
"What would you like to get?" Nodding my head, I look over the menu again, trying to keep my eyes away from the price.

£225 for a pasta!! How much is the steak?! £275- never!

"The pasta looks pretty good." He comments and I hum, awkwardly.
"I also heard the Lavish steak melts in your mouth." Carlisle recommends.

It better evaporate for its price.

"Let's umm..let's try it then." I reply closing my menu and pushing it far away from me. Lavish will make you La-broke.

Carlisle chuckles at my actions, and I give him a sheepish smile.

"Oh!Ms. D sent some of her "lavish" style hot source. Mouth melting steak is nothing without her hot source. She says."

"I guess Ms. D knows best." We both smile.

The night went by so smoothly, I must admit. Carlisle ordered medium rare steak, where as I got mine fully cooked. I'm sorry but I'm not sorry. Cook my steak well done. Well well done.

"Aiden is a darling. Rosalie really adores him."

"I saw that. Aiden normally doesn't interact with people other than Ms. D, Henry, Martha and I. So I was shocked with how close he has gotten to her in such short time." I tell him honestly.

"I hope that is okay with you."

"It is." I say smiling.

After finishing eating, Carlisle excused himself, after getting an important call from work. Giving me time to myself.

Am I ready for another relationship?

I was so heartbroken after Philip. Henry was only 15 when we moved here, and Amun was skeptical about letting me move again instead of coming home, but I honestly wasn't ready to go home yet.

Flashback

"Darla, come home, please. We can help you take care of Henry." Kedi pleaded. I was currently on video call with Amun and they.

"He doesn't even know what I am yet, far less to tell him about you guys. As much as I'm hurting right now, I'm not giving up on seeing the world because of that fool."

"I should kil-"

"No Amun. We're not killing Philip. I won't have that on my concious. I should of never opened myself to him in the first place." I say holding back my tears.

"Sighs. Well..There's this town, I've been looking at for your next destination. Jashville. It's far south of Bakewell. Very secluded, not many people can enter. You guys can move there. I've already prepared a house for you." Amun tells me.

"Thanks Amun."

End of Flashback.

"I'm so sorry about that." Carlisle apologises taking his seat again.

"It's okay." We stare at each other for sometime, for before look down at my glass of wine.

"I..." He starts and look up to him.
"I umm...I would love to give us a chance. If you would like too. You don't-" I giggle at his rambling, finding him cute.

" I'll be honest Carlisle. I've experienced this relationship thing before, and it ended horribly. I never want to experience what I went through again." I tell him.
"I have a son and a brother who are my world. If you are willing to have a relationship with me, you have to keep them in mind as well. I won't allow anyone to hurt them."

"I can't promise I won't make any mistakes but I can promise you that I will never hurt you or the boys intentionally." My lips curve up in a small smile.

Every guy who tried to approach me since moving here, have all been politely shut down. However with Carlisle it's different. The possiblity of me being his mate, is 100%. Meaning we are destined to be together.

He still hasn't told me of who he is, and it's expected I mean.. I'm sure it's hard for him to tell me.

"I'm not going to hurt you." He reassures me.

"I know. Ms. D, Henry, Jewel and Aiden are vouching for you." He laughs.

"If you don't mind me asking, where is Aiden's father?"

"Somewhere. He cheated on me a fews days after our anniversary." I scoff.
"Turns out the only reason he dated me was to have sex with me. So when he got it he left. I found out I was pregnant when I moved here."

"I'm sorry you had to go through that."

"No need to apologize. I've healed and moved on. And Aiden is the greatest thing to ever happen to me and I had Henry and Ms. D with me through it all." I tell him. It was a hell, but I made it. Your first heart break hurts likes a knife to your chest.

"He's an idoit for letting you go, but I'm glad he did." I shyly push my hair behind my ears.
"I will cherish you forever, if you'll let me."

My word.

Unknown POV

"So the Elementress was indeed born?"

"Yes. Apparently the queen gave birth to twins. The oldest died from the poisoning but the smaller one was hidden behind her." Evon tells me.

"And where is she now?"

"No one knows. She was given to a Fai named Honey Willows. Her existence was meant to remain a secret but I and Gastron have been looking for her." He answers, sparking my interest at the mention of the El Prince.

"Gastron? The prince who's wife posioned his brother's wife?"

"Yes."

I chuckle.
"Hmm."

"And why do come to little ole me?" I turn to the female sitting in the chair in front of me. I was no where near shocked by the evil glint that crossed over her face.

"I want to take everything from her." I chuckle, leaning back in my chair, studying her. She sits up straighter in her chair, only making me laugh more.

"Evil befalls you Ms. Darcel."
