Brody's POV

We found Lancer as he approached his dad "Father!" Lancer said "Lancer, my son. Have you dispatched the lightners, as I commanded?" The king asks "N....no, b-but..." Lancer said "I did even better!" He said "It turns out we don't actually have to fight them!" He said "they said they could just talk to you, and...." he said "They're ALIVE?" The king asks "Yes, and I think you'll like them a lot!" Lancer said "There's Susie, she's very purple and strong, and..." he said "WHERE ARE THEY NOW?" The king asks "ummm..." Lancer said as we walked closer and he turned around "Hey" Susie said "It's nice to meet you!" Ralsei said "....Lancer, Lancer my son." The king said "Yes...father" Lancer said and the king kneeled infront of him "Do you remember what I told you?" The king asks "D...don't....get too attached?" Lancer asked "You have failed" The king said "They have poisoned you with their sentimentality" he said "Free yourself, Lancer. They care NOT for you" he said "Their only goal is to destroy our glorious fountain" he said "They.are.scum." he said "N....no they aren't..." he said and then the king lift Lancer standing up suprising us "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" The king asks "Let him go" Susie said "Hahahaha you want me to LET HIM GO?!" The king asks and then threathen to throw him if we didn't kneel so we did and he aimed his attacks at us when Lancer used his own to hit him on the back so the king let go and Lancer ran off and the three of us got ready as we started the encounter.

We ended up tiring him and he tricked us into thinking he wanted to give up and convinced Ralsei to heal him and then the king overwhelmed us with a suprise attack knocking us down.

Susie and I barely got back on our knees "Y-you..." Susie said "Did I say you could get up?" The king asked about to attack Susie but I blocked it with my shield "Brody...?!" Susie asked suprised and then the king hit us from the side knocking Susie down and me back on my knees "Oh, spare me the heroics" The king said and attacked me again sending me back knocking me down as he walked over to me "You....you're the leader, aren't you?" He asks "So what's your plan? To laugh, as you cast us all back into obscurity?" He asks ".....you can't even say...?" He asked as I remained silent "young one...let me tell you a secret" he said grabbing me "Quiet people PISS ME OFF" he said about to attack me when he was hit from the back and dropped me , it was Susie who attacked "Hey. Get away. From my. Friend" Susie said "OR WHAT?" The king asks "why not ask them?" Susie asks when everyone from the castle charged in and picked up the king, Lancer was on the top too "L...Lancer?! E....Everyone?!" The king asks "What is the meaning of this?!" He asks "Sorry dad! You're being overthrown!" Lancer said "When I told everyone you were fighting the Lightners...Everyone remembered how kind they were!" Lancer said as Susie helped me up "They decided they'd rather have a king...that accepts them!" Lancer said "Me!!" He said and they all took the king "You alright Brody?" Susie asks and I nod as Ralsei walks to us "Brody! Susie...!" Ralsei said "Oh, you're all right..!" He said relieved "Yeah, it'll take more than that to take us down" Susie said "Brody...Susie....I'm....I'm sorry" Ralsei said "Because I healed the KING, we almost....we almost...." he said "I was foolish to think we could act so soft to everyone....this isn't a world where kindness always world where kindness always wins, is it?" Ralsei asks "Eh, it's complicated. Yeah, sometimes there's people you just gotta fight, but if you let your guard down....you may hurt someone you care about" Susie said and Ralsei said it's time Susie and I got back home and we nodded relunctantly and we walked foward the two of usHey Brody. Ummm, I....look, I know you wanna give a REAL goodbye to everyone, right?" Susie asks "I mean, I'm ALL for leaving right away, but..." she said "Y'know, we could go back a sec. If you wanted." She said and I smiled "Yes" I said "Well, then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Susie said and I nodded and decided to save first before our final goodbyes.
