"Can I get 5 minutes from you?".. He asked suddenly and Cabir mentally slapped himself ..as Manik never leave his Romeo attitude..

Nandini turned around and saw his face..he was smiling.. She felt an unknown feeling inside her soul..his smile was innocent..his face was full of genuine feelings..

" in my vanity..".. She answered with a smile..and Cabir's eyes bulged out while Manik was literally dancing ..

She walked out ..and Manik placed his hand on his heart..and was about to fell backward when Cabir came and held him back..

"Sambhalke warna gir jaega..".. Cabir said to him with his mocking tone ..and Manik instantly composed himself..

" Cabir!"...he said overjoyed tone and hugged him..Cabir too smiled and hugged him back..

"Am so happy.. Meri dream girl..Cabir meri dream girl..".. He muttered and Cabir smiled to fullest because of his insanity..

" chal chal..notanki band kar aur bhaag..".. Cabir said to him after breaking the hug..and Manik instantly ran towards her vanity..

"I don't know what's in your destiny ..but I only want your happiness Manik.. Which resides in her only .."... He thought and smiled ..prayed for his innocent Manik..who only knows to love and spread love ..

Inside the vanity :

Nandini was sitting in front of the mirror ..and recalling her 1st meet with him.. She was smiling all this while...which she didn't noticed..but aliya her P.A saw that real and peaceful smile..

" ek bat puchun?".. Aliya asked her which made Nandini meet the reality..

"Han..pucho..".. She said while removing the earrings..

" aaj pehli baar apke face pe ek real smile hai ..".. She said with a broad smile and now Nandini looked at herself in the mirror and indeed there is some changes in her appearance today..even she noticed..

"Aap humesha kehti ho na..ki jab waqt badalta hai..toh cheeze apne ap badal jati hai..shayad aaj hawaon ka rukh bhi badal raha hai..".. Aliya told her and Nandini was calmly listening her words..

Just then they heard the knock on the door.. Aliya asked the person to come in ..and here comes the lover boy.. Manik..

Nandini smiled looking at him and he came towards them.. Aliya excused herself as instructed by Nandini..

" baith jaiyei..".. She told him and he was smiling foolishly ..actually he was still not sure that she is actually sitting on front of him and he is able to look her so closely..

Since the day he started loving his dream girl ..he never thought that any day she will be his reality..after all she is a big star and Manik ..he Is a random boy..why would she meet him?... But see the destiny twisted the game and he is able to meet his life ..his dream girl..

"am still under shock..ap sach mei mere samne baithi hai na?.. It isn't any dream right?".. He asked with innocence and she laughed on his statement..

While he was mesmerized with her sudden laugh..and she was totally lost in her laughter..even she herself don't remember when last time she laughed freely..

"Yeh real hai!".. He said abruptly and this made her stop laughing.. She looked at him with something in her eyes and he was only looking in her eyes ..

She took her eyes off him and even he started looking here and there.. Soon the whole vanity witness an unwanted awkwardness..

" umm! Woh thank you".. He said to break the silence and she smiled looking at him..

They both talked for sometime and for the first time Nandini was freely expressing herself in front of someone ..otherwise all the time she has to watch her words before speaking..and today Manik too found a new side of hers..which he never seen in any interview ..

"I never wanted to be in this field..it was never my dream..mai bani he nahi hoon is culture ke liye..".. She said something which she never said in front of anyone.. Don't know why but she has that feeling that she can trust him..that he won't make fun of her.. His eyes speaks volumes.. They have only honesty in them and that's what making her trust him..

" Fir aap yahan kyu hai?".. He asked as he wanted to know the real Nandini who is lost somewhere behind the mask of fake Nandini Murthy .. The star Nandini Murthy..

She looked at him with pain in them and he can feel it..he saw a deep pain in her eyed from always ..even when she was in mid of thousands of people..giving broad smiles to all..he can feel that her that smile isn't real...but actually it is a fake one..

"Because my dad wanted this ..".. She chuckled sarcastically and he saw the grief inscribed in that smile.. Then she continued..

" for him I was a baggage ..jise woh bas apne shoulders se hatana chahte the..and see he freed himself from this unwanted baggage..".. She told him with a smile but all he noticed pain and sorrow in her voice..

Pain of not getting love from her father..pain of living a life she never wanted to ..he can feel the pain..

"Apko esa kyu lagta hai ki ap apni smile ke peeche apna dard chupa sakti hai?".? He straight forwardly asked which made her speechless.. He saw that pain in her eyes which no one ever saw.. Then how he came to know?..

But before she could say anything .. Aliya came inside and their eye lock broke down..

" Mam ..media is still out..I think we should wrap up and you have 3 concerts tomorrow.. So shall we?.. ".. She said in her professional voice..while Nandini gave a weak smile to Manik .. Even she wanted to sit and talk with him till the dawn.. Don't know what attraction this boy has in him which has attracted her so much..

" it was a pleasure meeting you Mr......?".. She asked with a smile while forwarding her hands..

"No Mr and all.. Plain and simple.. Manik ..".. He said in his charming voice with a breath taking smile..he handshake with her..and that one mere touch caused havoc inside their soul.. A spark which they both felt gave a never ending pleasure to them..

Their trance broke by the constant call of aliya.. Nandini then picked her bag..and big bye to him..he followed her and both came out the vanity..

Nandini walked towards her car which was parked nearby.. Manik was standing on the door of vanity looking at her ..her driver opened the car's door for her.. She stopped and turned around to look at Manik for one last time.. She smiled and waved him.. He too smiled and waved a bye to her..

Then she sat down and the car moved out of the set.. Manik pressed his both lips and suppressed his smile..

" wah mere majnu..".. He heard a familiar voice and turned around to find his best friend Cabir..

"Cabir..am so happy..".. He said in his enthusiastic tone.. And Cabir can see the glint in his eyes which signifies his enormous happiness..

" Han woh toh dikh raha hai mujhe..chal ab tu thodi apni romeo giri kam kar dega.. ".. He said in his kidding voice and Manik recalled her laughing sound..and then her side of story..

" nahi Cabir..aaj usse Milne ke baad ..mujhe usse or bhi jyada pyaar ho gaya hai.. ".. He confessed with all his heart..

" dekh Manik..she is a big Celeb..don't fall for her ..these celebrities are very selfish..they are two faced people..".. He tried to aware him..but Manik strictly denied..

"Cabir..I saw pain in her eyes..dard tha uski aankhon mei..bahut jyada dard..Maine mehsoos kiya woh dard.." .. He told him while recalling how she told him that she never wanted to be a part of this industry..

Before Cabir could say anything..someone from back called Manik..and when he turned around..he found Aliya standing behind him..

"Nandini mam ne apka number lene ko kaha hai..".. She told him and Cabir was stunned ..while Manik was flying in the air..

" kyu Bhai..ESA kya kardia tune?.. Sach bol..kahi kuch tod fodh toh nhi ki na..dude listen am not going to pay even a penny..".. Cabir said in a little low voice standing behind him..

"Shut up..".. Manik answered and punched his elbow on his stomach..

" apka number?".. Aliya asked and then he gave her..after taking his number ..aliya went out from there..

After 3 days..

Manik and Nandini has became very good friends..she always find time for him..or we can say ..she is always free for him..its all about priorities.. No matter how much we are busy in real but we always find time for the person who is on top of our priority list..

Today Manik decided to take her out with him..and make her see the real world..which she never saw being a big celebrity..

One thing which attracted Nandini towards Manik was his honesty and he always treat her like an ordinary girl..he fight with her..argue with her..he cajole her..finally in form of Manik..she got a true and a real friend..

In the night..

Nandini came to the location as instructed by Manik.. She has wrapped her face with a scarf..and shades on her eyes.. He smiled as she walked towards him..

"Ap yeh shades hata sakti hai..".. He said to her and she smiled.. She removed the glasses ..

" aur tum mujhe TUM bol sakte ho..".. She said to him and he smiled ..

"Come with me..".. He held her hand and both looked at each other..but then he took her to the nearby light house..

They went straight up..and Manik made Nandini removed her scarf..she looked all around ..and it was damn beautiful.. A peaceful smile touched her lips..and he was extremely happy looking at her happiness..

" I never knew..Mumbai is such beautiful city.. Yeh city itni fast hai Manik..ki kabhi kabhi esa lagta hai ki meri life he ruk gayi hai..but see ..aaj yeh city shant hai and am walking ...".. She said looking all around while he was looking at her with enormous love..

"Tumhe pata hai Nandini .. Mai Mumbai sirf tumhare liye aaye tha..".. He told her and she instantly looked at her.. Their was love in his eyes..

But then she moved her eyes ..and he too composed himself..she looked here and there but him..

" ummm! Chale?".. He asked and she looked at him with confused expression..

"Kahan?".. She asked and he smiled ..

" wahi jahan koi aata jata nahi..".. He said in his dramatic tone and she smiled to full..he forwarded his palm to her and she happily gave her hand to him..

He now took her to the most beautiful and isolated beach of Mumbai.. People very rare comes over there.. But he knows this is the beautiful beach ..

Nandini was awestruck looking at the beauty of the beach..it was glowing under the moon light ..and so has her face.. Their was a gleam on her face ..of true happiness..

"Manik..its so beautiful..".. She walked a little ahead ..and stand near the waves.. As soon as that chilled waves touched her feet she felt an unknown pleasure engulfed inside her..

He smiled looking at the baby inside her which is coming out slowly and slowly..

He walked towards her and asked her to step back ..and she complied ..when he signaled her to look downwards..she did..and next she saw one more amazing thing..

Her foot mark..which were glowing.. She smiled looking at it..and smiled looking at her happiness..

After some time..

She was quietly sitting ..and looking at the waves of the sea.. Manik saw her from behind and came with a coconut water for her..he offered her and she smiled..

Both drank the water from one coconut..and then the duo quietly watching the tides..

" my mom!".. She suddenly said and he looked at her..

"Jab mai choti thi na ..meri mom ne mujhe promise kiya tha that she will take me to a beech and let me play with the sand..but esa kabhi hua nahi..".. She told him painfully ..and he can feel her restlessness..he placed his hand on her hand which was in her lap..and she looked at him..

" kyu?".. He asked with a little soft voice..

"Kyunki she died.. She died Manik..".. She told him and a tear eloped from her eyes ..he wiped them off and nodded a no to her..

" dad ke pass kabhi humare liye time nahi tha..he was always busy in his business and mom she used to wait for him for several hours..woh intezar pata nahi kab din mei badla..or din years mei..or ek din unka intezar karte karte ..she died..I was only 7 years old that time..but you know what my father ..he only came on her funeral..and went out of country the next day itself..leaving me all alone ...".. She told him the reality of her life ..and he took aback.. In such small age she has bear a lot..

He wiped off her tears.. And gave her a sweet smile ..

"Past has past Nandini..let it be there only..don't let it come in your present..otherwise it will ruin your future..".. He told her calmly and she nodded ..both smiled..

After sometime ..

"That was the best night ever Manik..".. She confessed and he smiled..it's time to bid bye to each other..

" indeed it was the best night..".. He too answered and she smiled..

She waved him and he smiled..then she walked a little ahead..but then turned around..she felt something unknown rushed inside her..she instantly ran towards him and hugged him tight.. He took aback with that hug ..but reciprocate it with equal fervor..

"Thank you Manik..for giving my smile back..".. She said after breaking the hug and he only smiled..

" thank you for trusting me this much..".. He answered and then both bid bye to each other..
