Yukio's P.O.V.

After getting scolded y everyone I head to my room to clean up my bloody nose. Going to my bathroom I make sure to wash every trace of blood from my skin. Changing out of my blood stained clothes I put on clean ones that look almost identical to my previous outfit. Deciding to go clear my head I step outside and look up at the never changing black sky.  I let out a heavy sigh  missing Assiah's starry night sky and it's bright blue days. Walking around I stumble upon a pond. Though it is not off any pond I've ever seen before as it has a silver glow to it. Reminding me of the water Rin had poured down the demon king of waters throat. Looking in the water I let out a slight gasp when I see my reflection. My ears are slightly pointed getting on my knees I bare my teeth revealing them to have fang like points. Panicking I reach behind me feeling for a tail I let out a slight sigh of relief when I don't find one. Studying my reflection I check my pupils I find that they are still black not red like the demon king's or Satan. Pausing I frown slightly as I remember that Rin is a demon king now. Returning to my feet I decide to go find Rin as Bon was right even if Rin is a full demon now he is still my twin brother. Demon or not Rin has always been there for me now it's my turn to do the same for him.

Heading back inside I make my way to Rin's room knocking on the massive door I stand there waiting! After waiting for a while and knocking several times with no answer I open the door a crack. "Rin it's Yukio I'm coming in." Opening the door fully a step inside his room. "Rin?" Checking the bathroom door and closet I sigh heavily when I don't find him. Frustrated I sit down on the edge of the bed glancing over at Rin's nightstand I noticed some framed photos. Looking at them I can't help but smile at some of them one being of  Rin our father the other priests and me in front of the church. Another is of just Rin and me while the next picture is of Rin and Bon. Which surprises me as they normally don't get along. 

I frowned slightly at the next pictures but I also study them closely. One picture is of all the demon king's along with Rin and Satan. The demon king of fire having his arm around Rin's shoulders. As they have an identical grin on their faces. The other picture being of Rin and Satan. Looking at the picture it makes me realize the similarities between Satan and Rin. From their height to the color of their hair. As well as they're identical eyes. Though the more I look back at them the pictures the more I realize how happy Rin looks. Putting them back with others I look at the last photo which brings tears to my eyes. As it is a picture of our mother when she was pregnant with us.

Wiping away my forming tears I put it down.  Which is when I hear a voice in my head.  Yukio? What are you doing in Ren's room?"

I jumped slightly and look around when I see Kuro jump onto the bed. "Oh Kuro it's you have you seen Rin?"

Kuro sits down looking at me with his bright gold eyes. I notice his fur bristle slightly as he speaks to me with some anger. "Why? So you can hurt his feelings again!"

I flinch slightly at his tone looking down at the floor and shame. "No I want to apologize to him. I shouldn't have said those things him. He is my brother always no matter what he becomes."

Kuro's fur starts to relax as he hops off the bed. "All right I'll show you to where Rin is." 

"Thank you Kuro."

With his two tails swaying behind him Kuro leads me outside. following him I frowned slightly when he stops at a blue rose hedge. "Where is Rin?"

"In the maze."

"The maze?"

I look at Kuro confused until the hedge starts to move revealing an entrance. "This is a special maze if Rin considers you family then you can find your way to the center. If he doesn't then it will lead you out."

Taking a deep breath I take a nervous step into the maze. Once I am in the maze the entrance closes up behind me. "Well no turning back now."

Walking deeper into the maze I watch as many directions open up to me. While everything behind me closes up behind me. After many twists and turns a sound catches my attention. "Ah B-Bon."

Turning to the sound the hedge starts to open to a clearing. Stepping into the clearing my face becomes red at what I see. Which is Rin and Bon heavily making out. Rin's shirt being nowhere to be seen. "Rin?"

They break apart a deep blush covering their faces. "Yukio?! What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to talk to you."

"Oh."

His face still red with blush as Rin glances as Bon. "I'll send you back to the castle and see you at lunch okay."

"Alright."

Why a shy smile Rin kisses Bon on the lips before Bon vanishes into thin air.  Rin gets to his feet and grabs his shirt once he finds it. Slipping it on, so that it hides all the bite mark and hickeys  on his skin. he sits down on the swing bench, so I join him. "So you and Bon."

His blush grows as his tail flickers while he tries to hold back a smile. "Yeah we're together."

He glances at me and I noticed a hint of nervousness in his eyes. "For how long?"

"A year before you guys were trapped in the crystal." 

"Does he make you happy?"

Rin looks at me the surprise evident in his eyes. As I don't say anything about him being gay not that I really care that he is gay. "Yeah he makes me really happy."

"Then I am happy for you."

"Thanks Yukio, so what did you want to talk to me about?"

"I want to do apologize for things I said earlier. It's just I saw you, so happy with other Demon King's as well as Satan I guess I snapped in fear. That you were going to forget about me as well as our dad."

"Yukio yes I am happy with them they are my family, but so are you. I could never forget about you nor could I forget about the old man. I mean was mad at him at first when I found out the truth, but he was the one who raised us and took care of us and made me feel human."

"The truth?"

"Yes the old man kept many things from both of us? 

"Can you tell me?"

Rin looks at me a bit hesitant, but after seeing the desperation in my eyes he caves. "Alright. Alright, but how about I show you instead."

Rin waves a hand in front of us and a misty wall appears. I open my mouth to speak, but Rin stops me. As images start to form from the mist placing a hand on my shoulder before touching the mist which pulls us into what looks like a memory. Seeing our dad with the Kuma sword Rin gestures for me to follow are dad. Following him to a cave I let a gasp when I see our mother holding us. It obvious who is who Rin being covered in Satan's blue flames. Noticing our dad she gives him a weak smile. "Shiro you are here. You must protect Rin and Yukio until Satan comes for them. I don't have much time left."

My chest tightens as I can tell that our mother is dying. We watch as our father comforts her until she takes her final breath. Picking up my baby self dad places me in a blanketed basket. When he picks up Rin he lays him down on the moss covered ground. I frown confused as to why father put Rin on the ground and not in the basket with me. When all of a sudden father pulls the Koma sword out from its sheath.  Pointing the tip of the blade at Rin causing a gasp to leave me as I realize what he is planning to do. "My my what do we have here. The exorcist paladin about to kill a new born baby how unholy of you."

My eyes widening slightly when I see that is is Sir Mefisuto walking into the cave. "This child holds the Power of Satan I must do what must be done before it's to late."

"Then why not seal away the child's demon heart away with that sword of yours."

"What?! Seal away it's heart then what do you expect me to do with it."

"Why raise the young prince of course. As a human as that is what he will be, so long as the seal on the sword never breaks."

Father looks down at a silently sleeping Rin before looking as me. As I am fusing in the basket as if I am searching for Rin. Letting out a heavy sigh before he hands the sword over to Mefisuto. "Very well seal away the child's demon heart. Better that then to allow him to fall in the hands of Satan."

Mefisuto smirks slightly as he takes the sword and seals away Rin's demon heart. "Of course because that would be terrible."

Once Rin's demon heart is sealed away Mefisuto puts away the now flaming sword back into it's sheath. As soon as he does Rin's flames go out when all of a sudden he starts to cry in distress. Handing the Koma sword to my father Mefisuto gently picks up the how human crying Rin. Gently rocking him as he tries to sooth him. "There there little Prince I know it hurt, but you will be alright now."

I frown confused because I have never seen Mefisuto act, so serious and caring before as he tries to settle Rin down. Sniffling Rin starts to settle down and is put into the basket. Which in the process causes me to settle down as well. "Well I must be off father has arrived."

Smirking Mefisuto bows with a swirl of his hate before vanishing into thin air. As a man covered in blue flames enters the cave. Blood oozing from his nose, ears, and mouth as he walks closer to our mother. He gently strokes her cheek as a single tear rolls down his cheek. I not having to be a genus to know that this is Satan. He then turns his attention to Rin and me when anger suddenly washes over him. As he slams father against the cave wall. "What did you do to my son?! What did you do to Rin?!"

Struggling father grits his teeth as he struggles against Satan. "I did what had to be done. If you kill me you will have know one to take care of them."

Satan automatically lets go of father and goes straight to out side. Gently stroking both of out cheeks making the both of us smile. Though Rin, so more then me as he giggles happily. "For now I will leave them In your care. For they are both to weak to survive the journey to Gehenna. Since you took Rin's demon heart. Though mark my words I will return for my children when they are old enough. I will bring them back to their home where they belong."

Glaring at our father as he says this Satan then turns back to the two of us. Kissing the top of our heads as he whispers. "I love you both and will return for the both of you my little princes."

Standing he gives us one last longing look before he heads over to our mother. He picks her up bridal style holding her close to her before vanishing into thin air. Taking our mother's body with him as he returns to Gehenna. When he leaves everything around us starts to fade away returning us to the center of Rin's blue rose maze. I look at Rin with tears in my eyes as all I can really think about is how father almost murdered Rin. "He... Father was going to kill you."

Not saying a word Rin pulls me into his arms hugging me tightly as my world practically falls apart. Rin gently rubbing my back as he tries to sooth me. Eventually I stop crying and Rin lets go of me as I wipe away my tears away. "Don't be mad at him Yukio. It is all in the past now. The old man did what he thought was best for us and father did as well. Though neither did handle it in the best way."

Rin giving me his usual large lopsided grin as his stomach suddenly growls. As soon as his does mine follow suits making us both look at each other before we both burst out laughing. "Come on lets go get some lunch."

"Alright as long as you are cooking."

Rolling his eyes playfully Rin places his hand on my shoulder teleporting us to the kitchen. "You know you would get along quiet well with our brothers. Like you they only want my cooking."

I smile as I see the large grin on his face as he chuckles slightly at he thought. It making me realize just how much happier my brother is here. As he doesn't have to hide how he truly is as he can be his real self all the time.
