Yeager was so sad at home. She was forgotten everywhere. Even her best friend Cole would take notice. "1:30am. It's time." Yeager said. She opened her window and climbed out. She was on the ground. In tears. She was running away. Running from the pain of abuse.

She was unstable. She ran to her Uncle Kenny and his wife. "Shit." She said. It was pouring rain. She ran to their home and knocked on the door. "Yeager?" Abby asked. She saw her niece at the door step wet and bruised. "Honey come in." She said. Yeager walked in. Kenny reading the paper. "What that bitch do now?" Kenny asked.

"We got into a fight. And I can't take it anymore! ALL THEY DO IS SIT ON THEIR ASS AND DO DRUGS! I dropped out of school just to pay the bills! I'm tired. I'm broken. I'm depressed. I just want it to end." Yeager said. He put his paper down and saw that his niece had tears streaming down her face and she fell to her knees.

They now realize how she had to be an adult. At just 11 years old. "You know. Your our brat now. Call us mom and dad." Kenny said he was standing in front of her. She looked up to a tear stained face. "And what is it you do for money?" Kenny asked.

"I belly dance and I sell drugs. I'm a hitman 2k-1 mil depends on who the person is." She said. "Well now your just a kid if you still wish to work that's fine. Just don't over do it." Kenny said. She got up and hugged him and cried. Roman,Reki, and Jake coming down the stairs to see the girl in tears. Jake walked up to her.

"Do you want me to make strawberry shortcake?" He asked. She let go of her uncle and took her big brother's hand. She nodded and rubbed her eye. "I'll go get a wet cloth." Abby said. Jake walked with Yeager still holding his hand to the kitchen to make her favorite. Kenny wanted more information on what was going on.

He and his wife knew Jake could get it out of her. "So how's school going?" Jake asked. Yeager sat on the stool. "I-I don't go to school. I dropped out half way through sophomore year. Jenny and David kept the money for themselves. The power,water,and everything else was gonna get shut off. So I had to work odd jobs just to make ends meat. I had to cook,clean, and do all the shopping. I was basically the bread maker. Not by choice. I know Cole was pissed when he found out. But I never told him why I had to do it. I didn't want it to get back to Jenny. She would have literally killed me." Yeager said.

"Well your safe now." He said. He smiled and patted her head. He took the cake out of the oven and let it cooled off and gave his little sister a slice. "Where you going?" She asked. "Dad needs me real quick." Jake said. She nodded. Jake went to his parents. "What she say,boy?" Kenny asked. "Basically she dropped out of school half way to sophomore year. Just to provide what Jenny and David weren't doing. Dad. Mom. She was paying their bills, cooking, cleaning, and doing all the shopping. She said she was bread maker." Jake said.

It brought him and Reki and Abby to tears. Kenny and Roman weren't showing any emotions. Yeager still eating the cake. "Anything else?" Abby said. "She said if she was late on a payment. She would be locked in a closet for days with no food, water, sunlight. Anything." He said. Abby went in the kitchen and put the wet cloth on Yeager's eyes. "Honey why are you wearing pink contacts?" She asked.

"I'm not. The only thing I ever ate was strawberries. And when I went to the doctor they said pigment changed my hair and eye color. Abby has a soften smile on her face. She kissed the girl on the head and went back into the living room. "Because of her only eating strawberries, she had pink hair and pinks eyes. But should we even put her back in school?" Abby said.

"But I was bullied there too." They hear. They see Yeager standing behind Abby. They see the preteen standing there. Still eating the cake. "When was the last time you ate?" Jake asked. Yeager put the cake holder on the table and began to count on her fingers. "Umm. One month ago..." she said. She looked at them confused. She was used to going weeks or months without food.

"What do you eat when your starving?" Abby asked. "There's a fruit stand not too far from here. They sell strawberries for 15 cents. So I would stock up on them. Twenty of them would last a month for me." She said. They were stunned. Jake got up. "I'm making dinner. And she's going to help me. I'm going to make sure she eats." He said. They nodded. "It's not normal?" Yeager asked her big brother.

"No it's not. You need nutrients. Or you won't grow. You don't want to be a runt." He said. She nodded and followed close behind. Kenny genuinely agitated at his nephew and Jenny. "That brat is ours now. We are going to raise her better than those bastards did." Kenny told his wife. She nodded. "I have always wanted a girl. But she needs love and attention. So we have to stay on top of that. She has severe depression. And I know Jake can get her to talk about it. She trusts him. She trusts us." Abby said.

"Yeah she does. But there is damage there too." He said. They nodded. Yeager was helping Jake cook. Jake noticed that Yeager was still kinda quiet. "What's wrong?" He asked. "I'm just tired of being an adult. I went to school high as a kite and drunk. Just to make through the day. I tried to tell Dave about the abuse but he didn't believe me. He told Jenny what I said. And she beat the hell out of me. So I fought her. It's just toxic." She said.

He could tell she wasn't the same happy go lucky child anymore.

Yeager was feeling a little bit better. She had a skateboard competition coming up. So her and Reki were practicing every day. And her best friend Cole was visiting her. "Bro you got this!" Cole cheered. "Thanks. But what sucks my little sister Ashely will be there. She started to skateboard because of me." Yeager said.

"Then let that brat fall on her face." Kenny said. "Yo." She said. They went back to practicing. Cole was happy to see his best friend happy and doing a lot better than she was. He was so scared of losing her, that he would make sure she was eating basically functioning as a human.

Cole hated that living in Ninjago and being a ninja was that he and his best friend/ crush couldn't have any time together. So when he went to their competition he was excited. He was cheering her on. It's the day of it and Cole was in the stands. Ashley saw her big sister. She tried to run to hug her. But Jenny stopped her. "Watch that bitch lose." She said. Ashley was sad. They watch Yeager and her brother Reki do tricks and stunts.

"First place is a tie! Yeager and Reki Ackerman!" The announcer says. They were happy and hugging. "We did it bro." Yeager said. She smiled. Ashley tried to run to hug her. "SISSY! WAIT!" Yeager and Reki hear. "It's time to leave." Kenny said. He pulled them out of sight. "Who was she? Sis, she knows you?" Reki asked. "She's my little sister." Yeager said. They left. Cole visited. But then he couldn't visit because he was on mission.

Yeager fell back into depression. And then Jake told his parents that both Cole and Yeager like each other. But don't know how to say it to each other.
