I felt like I lost all the strength I had as I sat on the nearby chair. My hands were shaking and I felt like I couldn't think straight. All I was thinking about was Stephen. Instead of gaining answers to my questions, everything became more difficult like a hard puzzle that's hard to solve.

I suddenly remembered what happened earlier today...

We got inside the car and then drove home. He even accompanied me to my suite.

"Aren't you going to come in? Let's have coffee first before you leave" I was tempted to ask him to spend the night with me but I needed to do my home works.

"Okay. Goodnight then, honey" I hugged him and then kissed him on the cheek.

I had a wide smile on my lips as I began taking off my clothes. I wanted to hit the shower right away. Then my eyes widened when I remembered something. I quickly put my clothes on again and then opened my bag.

I forgot to give him my gift to him that I secretly bought yesterday while he wasn't looking. It was for our first month together as a couple. I took it and then went out of my suite in a hurry. I went inside the elevator and then went down to his unit. I was walking along the hallway when I heard someone.

I looked at the stairs and saw Stephen sitting there. I was about to call him to get his attention when I heard him talking to someone on the phone. He was almost whispering. I hid at the pillar.

"Are you sure that no one is inside during the night?....Infiltrating their headquarters is not an easy task, you know that...." My eyebrows creased. Infiltrating?

"What if we'll just meet at the Harrison Avenue?...Okay, I'll just meet you at the headquarters then so that we could go there together" my eyes widened. My breath caught in my lungs as my heart began beating faster.

Infiltrating...headquarters...Harrison Avenue...an imaginary bulb brightened up on my head as I began figuring everything out.

I saw Stephen stood up and then went down the stairs. I quickly followed him discreetly, making sure that he wouldn't notice me but then I lost track of him when a black wrangler jeep picked him up...

I already had a hunch that they would infiltrate TBJ headquarters but my mind couldn't accept it. I decided to come here and check if they're really targeting us and saw what happened.

Even though Stephen was wearing a tactical hood, I knew right away that it was him.

Tears welled my eyes. Isthis the end? 

N-No. This is not happening" I cried. We were so happy during our stay in his house yesterday and then today. I knew that sooner or later, the truth about him would be revealed but now that I saw him in action, I wanted to throw him a lot of questions right away and hear his explanation.

"This is your fault, Ivy! They escaped!" The angry voice of Ace echoed inside the room. I was left speechless. I didn't know what to say or do.

"If you just gave me that gun a while ago, I would've killed that terrorist by now!" I shook my head. Hearing him calling Stephen a terrorist made me want to shout at him. I couldn't accept it. My heart refuses to believe.

"H-He's not a terrorist. There must be some explanation to this" his eyes turned into slits.

"You really lost your mind! You're being blinded by your love for that guy! He---" whatever Ronin was about to say was interrupted by someone.

"---that's enough, Ronin" we both looked at his direction. It was Uncle Lucas, aka Thunder, one of the leaders of TBJ.

"Dad. They stole everything that's inside the vault" he raised his hand to Ace.

"Leave us alone for now, Ace" his voice held firmness. Ronin released a harsh breath while staring at me before he shook his head and then walked away.

"I heard from Ace that you're in a relationship with the one who infiltrated here" I slowly nodded my head.

"I can't believe that you still accepted him as a boyfriend knowing what he really is" his voice was stern.

"Now, looked what happened! He stole our organizations' top secrets and that's because of you!" I almost jumped because of his loud angry voice.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean for t-this to happen" I wiped my tears and tried my best to calm down.

"I think it's better for you to go home while I'm still thinking of what might be the punishment that will be suited to you" he said coldly. I didn't expect for him to let me go that easily.

"W-What about those documents that they stole?" I couldn't help but to question. His eyes turned cold and dangerous that I almost shivered coldly.

"You won't hear anything from me about that. Go home and wait for my next instruction" he answered and turned his back on me. I messed but instead of standing up and doing something about it, my mind was still full of Stephen instead.

Then I made up my mind. I should talk to him once and for all to gain answers.
