I kiss Acacia's forehead and pull her close to me before knocking on the door. She looks up at me nervously and I smile back at her in an attempt to reassure her that everything is okay. Within a few minutes, the door opens to reveal my grandad, standing there with a welcoming grin.

"Hello Grayson," my grandad says aloud before signing a hello to Acacia, who replies back nervously.

"What can I do for you, my boy?" My grandad asks cheerfully.

"Acacia wants to visit grandma" I reply with a small smile. I watch as his smile fades slightly at the mention of grandma but then something clicks and he raises an eyebrow at me.

"You asked her, didn't you?" he smirks, clearly amused at the fact. I blush and nod slightly, watching as he turns to Acacia who stared back at him nervously.

"Acacia, did Grayson ask you to marry him?" he signs, grinning. Instantly, a small smile appears on her face and she holds her hand out to show him the ring.

"I'm glad it's found a new home. I hope you like it," he signs warmly to her.

"Thank you, sir. It's very beautiful" she signs, smiling back at him meekly. 

"It very much is. Oh and if Grayson ever does anything to upset you, come find me and I'll beat his ass" he adds chuckling, causing Acacia to look up at me nervously. I shoot my grandad a glare and he chuckles again before inviting us into his house. We all walk in silence as he leads us down the hall and out onto the back porch.

"I'll leave you to it," he says, patting me on the back before walking back inside. I look down at Acacia and she looks back up at me, biting her lip.

"Grayson" she mind-links softly.

"Yes, Princess?"

"What did your grandad mean back there?" she asks nervously. I sigh and run my hand through my hair.

"He's just being protective" I start wearily. "He knows I can be a bit of an assehole when I'm in Alpha mode and he knows I've scared you before. He's just looking out for you. I don't think he intended for it to sound bad."

"Oh okay," she replies with a sheepish smile.

"But I promise I'm going to treat you right Acacia."

"I know Grayson," she says, sliding her hand into mine. "So your grandma?" she asks softly.

I nod and give her a small smile before leading her into the forest line connected to my grandad's property. We follow the pathway through the trees until we come to a small secluded clearing, filled with brightly coloured flowers. Acacia gasps slightly, taking in the scenery and I smile.

"Like it?" I mind-link quietly.

"Yes. It's beautiful" she replies breathlessly.

"I'm glad you think so. It was my grandparent's secret spot when my grandad was Alpha. They used to come here whenever my grandma was upset or needed to just breathe for a bit."

She nods and slowly circles the clearing before stopping in front of the big willow tree, noticing the headstone at the base of the trunk. I watch quietly as she walks and sits down in front of the headstone, tracing the engraving with her finger.

She turns and gives me a sad smile before holding her hand out, gesturing for me to come and sit with her. I nod and walk over to her, sliding my hand into hers as I sit down next to her. I stare at my grandma's headstone as Acacia rests her head on my shoulder.

"Do you miss her?" she mind-links quietly after a couple of minutes of silence.

"Yeah, I do. She was the best grandmother ever but it's my grandad who misses her the most. He used to have a spark about him, but that seemed to disappear after she passed away. He's never quite been the same, but I guess that's just part of what happens when you lose a mate, even if it is to old age," I reply quietly, a lump forming in my throat.

Acacia nods slowly, pondering my words for a moment. I can't begin to imagine how my grandad must feel, waking up every day with his mate no longer by his side. I don't want to even think about the idea of not having Acacia by my side every day, especially not after I just got her back. As if reading my mind, Acacia sits up to look at me, brushing her hand against my cheek.

"I-I'm n-not g-going a-any-w-where," she stutters aloud softly, with a small smile. I smile back at her before kissing her lips softly. 

I growl lowly as she bites my lip causing her to giggle. I grin against her lips as I deepen the kiss and pull Acacia onto my lap, straddling my hips. She wraps her arms around my neck as my arms glide down her body to rest on her hips. Everything around us begins to melt away as she

"I know you're not, Princess," I mind-link huskily after we eventually break apart for air, resting our foreheads on each other. 

"Let's go home" I continue before grabbing around her waist and standing us both up. She looks up at me and grins and I kiss her forehead gently. She giggles and I slide my hand into hers before heading back to my grandad's house.

We make it back within a few minutes to find my grandad standing in the kitchen making sandwiches.

"Hey Grandad, I think we're going to head off now," I say, startling him slightly. I chuckle and he rolls his eyes at me before turning his attention back to the food.

"Are you sure you don't want anything to eat before you go?" he asks, looking up at the both of us.

"No, we're fine. Thank you though" I reply, glancing at Acacia, who simply shakes her head.

"That's fine. I'll just get the twins to come over and have something to eat" he replies grinning. I nod and Acacia smiles at him before signing goodbye, which my grandad replies to with a grin. I slide my hand back into Acacia's as we head for the door.

"Have fun, Grayson" my grandad yells out from the kitchen with a chuckle. Groaning and attempting to not let a smile creep onto my face, I quickly steer Acacia out the door and off towards home.

"You okay, Princess?" I mind-link softly, wrapping my arms around Acacia's waist as she stands in front of the bathroom mirror.

"I guess" she replies sighing, a small frown on her face as she plays with the ends of her hair.

"What's wrong, Acacia," I ask as I turn her around to face me before picking her up and sitting her on the sink counter. I watch quietly as she plays with the ring slightly, glancing up at me for a second before looking back down at the ring.

"I used to picture my wedding day when I was younger and, ummm, well, I would always see myself getting married in front of my family and my pack and well, now it's actually going to happen, and ummm-"

"Would you like to go see your family, Princess?" I ask with a small smile, cutting her off slightly. She looks up at me with wide eyes before nodding slightly, biting her bottom lip nervously.

Frowning, I gently thumb her lip out from her teeth before gently placing my lips on hers, giving her a soft peck. "Yes, we can go see your family, Acacia. It's safe now and I will always let you go see your family if you wish to. All you have to do is ask," I reply softly, grinning at her.

"Thank you, Grayson," she replies happily before smashing her lips back onto mine. I respond hungrily as she wraps her legs around my waist. She smiles against me and I pull back to look at her, smiling.

God, how did I get so lucky?

"Grayson" Acacia mind-links softly, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, Princess?"

"I-I l-lov-ve y-you," she says aloud, softly.

I growl happily as I pick her up and carry her back into the bedroom before carefully laying her down on the bed and climbing on top of her.

"I love you too, Acacia" I reply smiling before smashing my lips back onto hers.

Moving slowly, I kiss Acacia deeply as Dante starts to push to the surface. I growl happily as she runs her hands through my hair before cupping my face.

She gasps slightly as I begin to kiss my way along her jaw and down her neck, my teeth lightly grazing her mark, causing her to shiver. Satisfied, I suck on her sweet spot as I lay in between her legs, one arm holding me up while the other slowly rubbing up and down her waist.

I feel her back arch slightly and I take the opportunity to move my hand under her now ridden-up dress, trailing my fingertips along her soft skin up to her chest. I slowly play with the edge of her bra while kissing my way back up to her lips as a quiet moan rolls off her tongue.

Grinning, I sit up and pull Acacia up with me before carefully taking her dress off over her head, discarding it on the floor and laying her back down.

Cupping behind my head, she pulls my lips back onto hers and we quickly fall into a rhythm while I gently squeeze her breast through her bra. I feel her wiggle her hips slightly against my now hard cock and I groan at her movements, causing her to giggle.

"Grayson," Acacia mind-links quietly, tracing her finger along my chest.

"Mmm?" I reply lazily, kissing her head softly.

"Will it be safe for me to go see my family?"

"Yeah, it will be safe. I'll take you over myself because I've been meaning to catch up with your father. I haven't actually seen him in a couple of years so it would be good to catch up" I reply calmly.

I feel her nod against my chest and I gently sit her up so I can grab my phone before lying back down and pulling me on top of her.

"What are you doing?" she mind-links nervously.

"Calling your dad" I reply with a grin. "I'm going to put him on speakerphone so stay quiet or else it will ruin the surprise."

She nods and sits up to put on her hearing aids as I find Alpha Andrew's number and press call. I watch Acacia as the phone rings and I notice how nervous she actually is. Then again, I would be too after not hearing from my father for over ten years.

Suddenly the ringing stops and the phone is picked up on the other end. "Hello, Alpha Blackwell speaking" Andrew answers warmly.

"Hey Andrew, it's Grayson. How are you doing?" I reply with a small smile.

"Oh, Grayson! Long time, no talk! I'm alright, how are you?"

"I'm good,"

"That's good. Word has it that you killed Zane?"

"Yes, sir, I did. Killed his whole pack too so that's the last of the Hardy's gone for good."

"Fantastic. A little birdy also told me you found your mate. How is she doing? I was told that she was kidnapped and that's how you killed Zane?"

I look down at Acacia, who is snuggled into me nervously, and gently kiss the top of her head.

"She's alright and yes that was the reason why I killed Zane."

"Oh. Well, my best wishes to the two of you."

"Thank you, Andrew. Actually speaking of my Luna, she really wants to meet you and we probably need to catch up at some point too so why not do both at the same time?"

"That's a great idea. I'm busy the rest of the week but how about sometime early next week? Does that work for you two?" he asks cheerfully. I look back down at Acacia and she looks up at me and nods.

"Yes, that works fine. I guess we will see you then!" I reply happily.

"Perfect! Take care, Grayson".

"I will. You too. Goodbye, Andrew."

"Goodbye Grayson," he says before ending the call, the room becoming silent. I sit up slightly to place my phone back on the bedside table before lying back down and pulling Acacia into me.

Suddenly, her body begins to shake and small sobs tumble out of her mouth as she grips onto me.

"Hey, what's wrong, Acacia?" I ask aloud, worry present in my voice. I watch as she looks up at me with a sad smile.

"Nothing. It's just so good to hear my father's voice. It's been ten years and I never thought I would ever get to hear it again" she mind-links softly, in between sniffs. I smile and kiss her gently, wiping away her tears.

"Well, in a couple of days, you'll be able to see them again" I reply softly.

"I know. Thank you, Grayson."

"Anything for you Princess," I say aloud before kissing her again, pure happiness spreading through me and Dante.

Our Luna is happy.
