"Right, everyone. Listen up" I yell once everyone has shifted back to their human forms. 

"We cross the boundary on my call, you follow my lead and we head straight to the centre of Alpha Hays' territory. If you find the girl, mind link me. I want to be the one to walk out of here with her in my arms. Do you all understand?" I continue, looking around at my army. Everyone nods silently and I turn to look at Ryker and Jack. 

"You ready to have some fun boys?" I ask them, grinning wickedly. I watch happily as they nod a reply before I turn back to my pack. 

"Everyone shift" I instruct calmly and watch as everyone shifts back to their wolf forms. A few of them let out low growls and I chuckle. I wait for Ryker and Jack to shift before shifting myself. 

I scan the area and sniff the air. I can't smell Acacia as of yet but I will soon. I turn my head back and look at my pack before looking back out at the end of the territory. 

In the distance, I can see the break in the forest's edge and I grin wickedly. I step forward slowly, crossing the border alone. 

Nothing happens. Excellent. 

I let out a loud howl and sprint off towards the centre of Alpha Hays' territory. I hear the rumble of paws hitting the ground and I know my men are behind me. 

We quickly break through the edge of the forest and instantly I see pack houses and as if planned, everyone single one of Grayson's pack out of the grass partying. My eyes instantly find Acacia and I let out a happy growl. 

A mortified expression runs across her face and I know she knows it's me. I let out a wolf chuckle and people from the Scarlet Moon pack begin to shift and bound towards us. 

Suddenly, a very angry Alpha wolf is in front of me as I skid to a halt. He pounces, teeth headed for my neck and I quickly move away but not before his teeth clamp down on my leg. I quickly kick him off me, unfazed, before turning around to face him. I chuckle and fight him, throwing him back as my men fight his. This is good. 

Now. Where has Acacia got to? 

Snarling, I push back Grayson again as Ryker and Jack come up beside me. I watch happily as they take over my fight so I can find the girl. 

I now notice that all the women and children have left and it is only the warriors from Grayson's pack who are left. I stick my nose in the air and but I can't seem to smell Acacia so I decide to head towards the houses ahead of me.

To my delight, I quickly find her heading back towards a packhouse accompanied by a girl slightly younger-looking than herself. I growl forcefully and she freezes, a shiver of fear running through her.

"Come on, Acacia, move it" the girl yells at her, tugging at her arm. Acacia doesn't move and instead, she slowly turns around to face me and it is then that I notice that she has hearing aids in. 

Perfect. 

I shift and she flinches slightly as I step towards her. 

"Come here, Acacia. I know you've missed me" I boom sarcastically as I outstretch my arms towards her. 

"Acacia! Come on!" the girl screams, pulling on her again.

She begins to cry, bowing her head in submission but still refuses to move from her spot. I roll my eyes and move closer to her. She backs away and the girl takes this opportunity to drag her towards the packhouse and I growl angrily. 

She stops again, much to the horror of the other girl, and looks up at me, terror shining in her crying eyes. I chuckle and roll my eyes, running over to them.

The girl jumps in front of her and proceeds to swing at me, eyes blazing. I duck and quickly swing back, hooking her straight in the jaw with full force, instantly knocking her out. I watch in satisfaction as her body crumples to the floor, a scream escaping Acacia's lips.

I grunt and step over the girl's body to touch her face gently. She flinches and I tighten my grip on her jaw, forcing her to look at me. 

"Let's go pumpkin. I know you've missed home" I say in a low tone as I glare at her. 

"N-n-no" she stutters out nervously. I stare at her shocked, dropping my hand for a moment before regaining composure. 

"No?" I ask annoyed, my free hand balling into a fist. She bites her lip, terror forming on her face once again as she watched me. I take a deep breath and close my eyes for a moment, thinking. 

"Tell you what, you come with me willingly and I won't kill Alpha Hays," I say grinning, opening my eyes. A tear falls down her cheek and I quickly wipe it away, knowing she will want to cooperate now. 

"Deal?" I ask happily, smiling wickedly at her. She nods as more tears begin to pour down her face. I chuckle and scoop her up in my arms before heading back to the borderline. 

"Found her" I mind link Ryker and Jack happily as Acacia zones out in my arms. 

"Good" Ryker replies tiredly. 

"Let everyone know that you may all begin to retreat once we cross the border," I say before dismissing them and picking up my pace. We quickly make it back to the border and I let the boys know that they are all free to come back now and that we will meet them back at the house. 

It is now that I notice that Acacia has blacked out in my arms and I chuckle before starting our run back to the house.

I bound down the stairs towards the cells with a now awake Acacia in my arms. Terror is written all over her face and we both know perfectly well that she doesn't want to be here. 

I walk into her cell and set her down, pushing her up against the wall. She winces and tears begin to stream down her face once more as I handcuff her and chain her to the wall, just where I like her. 

I chuckle as I walk over to the cabinet and pull out a wolfsbane medicine kit. She whimpers and I smirk at her, pulling out a large needle full of the toxin before walking back over to her. 

"I missed you, Acacia. You've been missing for over a month now and that slimeball Grayson kept saying he didn't know where you were when in actual fact, he did" I start, smiling at her. 

"Now, as promised, I won't hurt the Alpha, but this incident can't go unpunished" I finish as I step closer to her. She whimpers and squirms, the handcuffs burning her and quickly causing her to stop. 

It's at this moment that I actually have a good look at her. She looks healthier, not as skinny or sick looking. 

"P-please l-l-let m-m-me go Z-Z-Zane" Acacia stutters as tears pour down her face. 

I honestly find it quite fascinating, hearing her talk. She never used to talk before and my heart breaks a little bit knowing that I was probably the reason she stopped talking but I quickly dismiss the feeling as I stare at her. 

She ran away, she left me, and she needs to be punished. I step even closer to her so that our bodies are flush with each other. I instantly find myself getting turned on and she knows it too. I growl and she whimpers, looking away from me, the right side of her neck exposed. 

Seizing the opportunity, I jam the needle into her skin and she screams in pain as I inject the wolfsbane into her. I laugh wickedly as she sobs, her body becoming weak underneath her. 

I chuck the needle away and I plant kisses all over her neck, licking up the small bead of blood oozing from the wound. 

Fuck. I missed this. 

I kiss up across her jawline, forcing her to look at me with my other hand before planting a hard kiss on her lips. As usual, she doesn't kiss back but I don't care. I missed her too much to care. 

A growl rumbles out of my throat as my hands rake down her body before ripping her dress right off. I step back and stare at her naked body. 

Damn. Alpha Hays did a good job to be fair. She actually has some meat on her bones now. 

I growl and she whines, still sobbing. I rip my shirt off and unbutton my pants before stepping back towards her. She looks away as I begin to play with her boobs, squeezing hard.

Annoyed, I grab her face and force her to look at me. She doesn't make eye contact so I growl at her and she instantly looks up, her bottom lip trembling. I roll my eyes and move my hand up from her breast to brush away her hair from the left side of her neck and it is then that I notice it. 

Grayson's mark. 

I look up at her in shock, anger bubbling within me. She instantly stops crying, standing frozen in her spot, watching my every move. I slowly step back from her, clenching my fists. 

I crack my neck before swinging angrily. My fist connects with her jaw and she screams out in pain. 

"HE'S YOUR FUCKING MATE?!"
