"Grayson" I mind-link softly as I sit on the bed, watching him get dressed. 

"Yes, Princess?" he asks, turning to face me with a smile on his face. I blush as I look him over and he winks at me. "Like what you see?" he asks, smirking. I blush harder and bite my lip nervously. He chuckles and walks over to me. Instantly, his lips are on mine, kissing me softly. He eventually pulls away and grins at me. 

"All yours," he says smoothly. I nod and trace my fingertip along his cheekbone.  "What was your question sweetheart?". 

"Do you think I should wear my hearing aids?" 

"You don't have to if you don't want to Princess, but I think it would help". I nod and crawl up the bed to the side table and grab my hearing aids, putting them in carefully. 

I fiddle with them for a moment before looking back up at Grayson. He stares at me in awe before snapping out of it. 

"Let's get you ready," he says aloud, huskily. I nod happily as Grayson walks over and gently takes me by the hand, leading me into the wardrobe. I watch as he walks over to his side of the wardrobe and pulls a box off the top shelf before walking over and handing it to me. 

"For you," he says aloud softly. I give him a confused look and he nods his head, gesturing for me to open it. 

Nervously, I pull the lid off and look inside. I feel my jaw drop open as I stare at a beautiful black dress, folded neatly within the box. 

"Please wear it for me?" Grayson asks gently and I look up at him in awe. 

"Of course" I mind link in reply, a small smile spreading across my face. "When did you get this?" I ask softly as I take the dress out of the box and hold it out in front of me. 

"Ummm I think I got it about three years ago?" he replies, unsure. 

"Three years? Why did you get it three years ago?" 

"Well when I turned sixteen and shifted for the first time, I had a dream of a girl that night. I saw her by my side, standing with her arms around my waist and I didn't really know what it meant. The dreams stopped after a couple of weeks but when I turned eighteen, my dad stepped down and I became the new Alpha and I started having the dreams again. It was weird but I felt like the girl in the dreams was important and then one night when I had the dream, the girl was wearing a dress just like this one. In the morning, I had a sudden urge to go buy the dress. It took me ages but I found it eventually, I just knew I needed to get it because I felt like the dress would be important someday, and now I know why" he finishes, eyes sparkling happily as he looks down at me. 

"You were the girl in my dreams Acacia. I didn't realise it until just now but I think that might have been the Moon Goddess's way of telling me to look out for you." 

"But I don't understand, you knew what I looked like from the photo my dad gave you." 

"Yes, but you've changed since then, Princess. You were eight in the photo and now you're eighteen. Time changes things and I never put two and two together, but when I looked at the photo I got tingles and when I had the dream I got tingles, I just never realised that it was the same person". 

"True. Well, the dress is beautiful, Grayson" I reply, smiling. 

"Put it on for me, sweetheart," he says softly before leaving the room so I can change. I quickly take off what I'm wearing and carefully slide the dress onto my body. I stare at myself in the mirror in awe. It's perfect. 

"Grayson" I mind link softly. I hear the door open and turn around to see Grayson standing in the doorway, an unreadable expression written on his face. I look down at the floor nervously and suddenly Grayson is in front of me. He gently lifts my chin up to look at him and he stares down at me with the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. 

"You look beautiful," he says aloud softly. I blush and he gently kisses me. I smile as he steps away to look at me again. His eyes glide over me and I blush, colour rushing to my face again. I watch as he runs his hand through his hair nervously, something playing in his mind. 

Suddenly, my heart heats up and I know Grayson feels it too and he smirks but that quickly disappears as he sees my expression. 

"Gray-ay-s-son?" I ask aloud, nervously. 

"Marry me, Acacia," he says aloud huskily. 

"Wh-what-t?"

"I'm sorry. I know it's sudden but just seeing my dream come to life right in front of me made me realise how long I've been waiting for you." 

I stare at him in shock as my wolf whines at me. I watch nervously as he wraps his arms around my waist and looks down at me. 

"You don't have to say yes, I know it's sudden," he says quietly. I think for a moment and my wolf begs me to say yes, knowing that she wants to spend the rest of our life with his wolf. 

"Even if you say no, we will still spend our lives together, I just want to make my love for you more official, in a human way at least". 

I stare at him, trying to process everything and he watches me nervously. 

"If you can't say yes yet princess, can you at least try and promise me that you'll say yes if I ask you later on in the future?" he asks nervously. I step away from him to think for another moment, frowning at him. 

"I'm not saying no, I'm just saying not yet and I can promise you that when you ask me again in the future, I will say yes" I sign with a small smile, and his face lights up. 

"I know I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I want to marry you, just not yet Grayson."

"That's perfectly fine, Princess."

"I love you."

"I love you too Acacia" he replies before smashing his lips onto mine. I kiss him back passionately before pulling away to get some air. He grins at me and holds me close. 

"We should finish getting you ready. The Luna ceremony is starting at seven o'clock which is in about half an hour" he says happily before pecking my lips again.

I nervously pace back and forth as I hide in the gazebo positioned next to the stage. 

For most of the afternoon, I had watched out the window of Grayson's room as pack members set up the party area on the lawn outside our house. The stage and gazebo looked amazing, as did all the decorations and food but it hadn't really dawned on me until now as to what was about to happen. 

I am about to become Luna of the Scarlet Moon pack and I'm terrified. Suddenly, a pair of arms wrap around my waist, causing me to stop walking. 

Grayson. I turn around and he pulls me into him. 

"Please breathe Princess" he whispers into my ear gently. I begin to calm down as he holds me in his arms. In the background, I can faintly hear talking and music and the nerves pick up again. 

"Hey, it's okay," Grayson says calmly, looking down at me. I nod nervously and he kisses me gently. 

"I'm going to be right there next to you the whole time" he continues softly, smiling. I give him a small smile back and snuggle into him. Suddenly, Rosaleen is next to us, smiling contently. 

"We're ready to start when you are" she mind-links us before heading back outside. I gulp as butterflies begin to flutter around inside of me, the nerves bursting to get out. 

"Breathe Princess," Grayson says gently, bringing me out of my thoughts. I nod before taking a few deep breaths, relaxing slightly. 

"Good. Everything is going to be okay. Just follow my lead" he continues before kissing me again. He slides his hand into mine as we wait for our cue to walk onto the stage and I bite my lip nervously. Grayson looks down at me and smiles and I give him a small smile back. 

Suddenly, his expression changes and he winks at me before gently tugging my hand, leading me out. We walk onto the stage and I suddenly notice the audience. There are hundreds of people, all with their eyes trained on Grayson and I. 

I look up at Grayson terrified and he gives my hand a small squeeze before dropping it to make his introduction. I make out just about everything he is saying but only because he is talking into a microphone, so his speech is super loud. I watch in awe as he addresses his pack and they respond with howls and cheers. 

"And now, I would like you all to meet my mate and your new Luna, Acacia," he says happily and suddenly everyone's eyes are on me. Shakily, I move over to the microphone and look at Grayson nervously. 

"Do whatever makes you comfortable" he mind-links softly and I nod before looking back out at the crowd. 

"H-h-he-llo ev-veryone" I stutter nervously, before taking a deep breath to calm myself. 

"M-my n-n-name is A-a-aca-c-cia a-and I-I'm g-going t-to b-b-be your n-new L-lun-na". 

Suddenly, everyone in the pack begins to cheer and I stare at them in shock. I turn and look at Grayson and he smiles proudly, nodding for me to keep going. 

"I-I-I'm e-eight-t-teen a-and-d a-as y-you c-can t-tell, I h-have a-a s-st-stutter. T-t-this i-is bec-cause I a-am d-d-deaf b-b-ut I a-am g-going t-to t-try m-m-my v-very best f-f-for y-you a-all". I begin to smile as more cheers erupt from the pack and instantly Grayson is next to me again. 

"Now for the vows," Grayson says into the microphone before turning to me. I watch as his expression becomes a little more serious, although he is still happy. 

"Do you, Acacia, promise to protect and care for your pack?" he asks calmly. 

"I-I d-d-do" I reply, smiling. 

"Do you promise to fight for your pack to the best of your ability?". 

"I-I d-do". 

"Lastly, do you promise to lead the Scarlet Moon pack alongside me as equal, as Alpha and Luna together?"

"I-I d-d-do" I reply, smiling and Grayson smiles back. A warm feeling fills my chest and I know our bond has been accepted by the Moon Goddess. 

"Well then, everyone, may I present to you your new Luna, Luna Acacia" Grayson booms happily into the microphone as everyone begins to cheer and howl happily. Grayson slides his arm around my waist and pulls me into him, planting a quick kiss on my lips. 

"Let's get this party started then!" he says into the microphone before leading me off the stage and over to where his family is. 

"Oh Acacia, I'm so proud of you!" Bella squeals before hugging me tightly. I blush and Grayson squeezes my hand. 

I go to make small talk but am quickly cut off by the sounds of loud howls I turn to see an entire army of wolves running towards us led by a large red-furred wolf. 

Oh shit. I recognise the wolf all too well. That's Zane. He has found me. The last thing I see before all hell breaks loose is Grayson's wolf flying over me and charging at Zane. 

Fuck.
