He raped her?!

I feel Dante take over and instantly I'm throwing things around the room in anger.

Oh shit.

"Dante!" I yell at him, trying to regain control.

Nothing. Typical.

"I get it, man. I'm pissed off and angry too but you need to give me back control."

Silence.

Suddenly, Bella and Beckett run into the room from out of now where. I don't remember inviting them over today. Oh well, they are here now.

"Fuck off you two. Why are you even here?!" Dante yells, not paying any attention to them as he continues to make me break things.

"DANTE! STOP!" Bella yells but he doesn't listen.

"Dante, you're scaring Acacia! Stop it!" Beckett says sternly, his eyes shifting between me and her.

Pissed off, I feel myself flip the glass coffee table with my foot and watch as it shatters into a million pieces.

Oh lord. My poor table. Guess I'm getting a new one of those.

Fuck you, Dante.

"Dante! Stop! Please! Look at Acacia! She needs you! She needs Grayson! Give Grayson back! Please!" Bella yells again, her voice distraught.

She rushes over to Acacia and my gaze follows her. Dante disappears in a huff and I quickly regain control when I see Acacia swaying back and forth.

There's vomit all down her front and she's sobbing through panicked breaths.

Fuck.

I run over to her as she passes out, catching her in my arms before she falls off the couch.

God. We need to stop being the reason she passes out. However, I blame this one on Dante entirely.

Vomit and snot smear on my top as I lift Acacia up and the three of us rush her back to the hospital.

I burst through the doors, causing Teresa to jump in her chair.

She shoots me some evil eyes and a scowl before her gaze falls on Acacia, her face turning to one of professionalism and focus.

Springing into action, she quickly gets up and leads us down the hall to the usual room.

I gently place Acacia on the bed and Teresa begins to hook her up to an I.V. yet again before gathering things to clean her up.

"What happened?" she asks, her tone emotionless as she works to remove the vomit and tear stains from her beautiful face. The twins watch me carefully and I sigh.

"Acacia told me the truth and Dante and I got angry..." I reply guiltily.

"What do you mean?" Teresa asks, stopping to look up at me, her eyebrow raised.

"He raped her" I reply quietly.

I watch as recognition washes over her face before looking down at Acacia.

My luna.

I watch Teresa carefully as she proceeds to go back to work. She juts her chin at the twins who quickly turn around before she proceeds to take off Acacia's dirty clothes, replacing them with a hospital gown.

"She was scared you'd react the way you did. That's why she hadn't told you yet," she says after a while, causing the twins to turn back around to face her.

"You knew?" I ask, anger rising within me.

I can feel Dante near the surface again and it takes everything in me to keep control over him.

"Yes, Alpha."

"You know this whole time, and didn't bother to tell me?!"

"Sorry, Alpha. I wasn't allowed to tell you. That would break patient confidentiality."

I suck in a sharp breath. She's right and I hate it.

"I've known since that time she ran back to the forest and you went off for a run because you were upset. She told me everything."

I stare at Teresa in shock, a very angry Dante lurking close by.

"It's why she's been so hesitant to get close to you, Alpha. She's been scared that you would turn out to be just like them."

"What!? Why!? I wouldn't ever hurt her!"

"Of course we all know that but it's hard for her, Alpha. They raped and tortured her, almost every day too. You can't expect her to not be scared or expect you to not hurt her. It was ten years of her life, she can't just forget about it, even if you are her mate."

Goddammit.

I groan and rub my hands over my face as Date begins to simmer, the guilty feeling returning.

"I know, you're right."

"It'll be okay, Alpha."

"Will it? How do I know I haven't fucked it up for good this time?"

"Alpha, I-"

"I got too cocky and made a move and she got upset, she probably thought I was gonna rape her or something."

I slump down into a chair and put my head in my hands. I feel Bella touch my back and I calm down a little.

"She told me what happened, actually no. She showed me what happened which only made things worse once I had put two and two together and then Dante and I got super mad."

"Grayson-" Bella starts quietly but I cut her off.

"She's not gonna want to get close to me anymore," I say defeated.

"You never know Grayson. You just need to give her time." Beckett says quietly.

I sigh. He's right.

"Unfortunately, we don't exactly have a lot of time though" I mumble under my breath.

Bella must've heard me because she gives my shoulder a gentle squeeze.

"You'll figure it out, Grayson. You always do" she whispers in return, causing a small smile to tug at the corners of my lips.

Trust Bella to know what to say.

Teresa finishes up and soon after, she and the twins head out the door, leaving me alone with Acacia.

"I'm sorry, Acacia," I say quietly before kissing the top of her head.

I fucked up.

I fucked up real bad.

I pace around the hospital room, a million thoughts filling my head.

"Grayson..." Dante starts quietly, guilt laced in his tone.

"The fuck do you want?" I reply, pissed off.

"To apologise"

"Well, that's a first. I thought apologies weren't your thing?"

"They aren't, usually. But this one was on me. I shouldn't have lost control and taken over like that. It's my fault we are in this mess."

"You don't say?"

"Hey man, I'm trying here. Please forgive me? I want to try and fix this."

"I forgive you. However, I'm not letting you anywhere near her until I fix this mess. I don't want you making it any worse than it already is."

"But-"

"I said no, Dante. You already fucked it for both of us, so just let me fix this one by myself for once."

"Well fuck you then" Dante replies, before disappearing to sulk.

"Whatever man," I reply as I crack my neck.

God. Sometimes I really wish I wasn't a werewolf. Life would be a lot simpler if I wasn't.

I sigh, walk over to Acacia and sit down next to her.

Gently, I pick up her hand and slide my fingers into hers.

Man, I hope she wakes up soon.
