The Masked Robot

Abigail sat on the couch, fingers thrumming nervously. Fowler had come and gone, having received his explanation, and discovered the three other humans in base. He grew more angry, and stormed out, only to send them a distress signal. Arcee and Bee had left before he had even arrived, having gone to do their patrol. So, it was currently, just the humans and Bulkhead in the base. Raf was hacking into a government mainframe to try and locate Fowler. Abigail had no doubts that he would find him, but she also knew that if Fowler had been taken by the Cons, he might not last until Raf finds him.

Raf listed off a bunch of coordinates that Bulkhead typed in, before turning to Jack.

"Jack, you're in charge!" the green Autobot says, before charging through what Abigail now knew was the ground bridge.

"Guess we four have the run of the place", Jack says softly. Abigail walked over to the railing, and looked down at them, only to notice that a certain black haired Japanese girl wasn't with them.

"Uh. Jack... Where's Miko?" Abigail asked. Jack looked around, and Raf realized what happened.

"Miko must've followed Bulkhead", he said. Abigail groaned before looking at Raf.

"Open the ground bridge. I'm going in after her", Abigail says. Raf nods and quickly opens the ground bridge. Abigail starts to walk through it when Jack joins her. She shakes her head.

"No. You're not coming with. There's too much potential risk if we have multiple people going", Abigail says.

"I'm not letting you go alone", Jack says. "You stand no chance against the Decepticons."

"I have a better chance than you!" Abigail argues.

"Says who?" Jack counters weakly. Groaning, Abigail shakes her head.

"Come on. Raf, stay here. Please. Arcee and Bumblebee should be back shortly and we need someone to tell them where we went."

Raf shakes his head. "They'll find out when they get here. I'm going with."

Abigail groans, and Raf joins her and Jack. They walk through and the bridge closes behind them.

Abigail felt completely normal walking through, but Jack and Raf obviously felt some strange effects, like their bones vibrating.

It only took Abigail a few moments to notice the large warship in front of them. The others only noticed when they were being shot at. Abigail instantly narrowed her eyes, only to gasp in surprise when they focused in on top of the warship, seeing some more of the weird robot twins. She glared at them, but allowed her vision to go back to normal as Bulkhead pulled up in front of them.

"Get in!" he yelled. Abigail didn't hesitate to bundle Jack and Raf into the front seat of the car, following them shortly aftef.

"What are you doing here?" Bulkhead asked.

"We were looking for Miko. Have you seen her?" Raf asked nervously.

"What's she look like?" Miko asks from the back. Abigail is instantly glaring at her.

"Miko, what where you thinking? You could've gotten seriously hurt!"

Miko rolls her eyes. "I wanted to help Bulkhead."

Abigail sighed, not even going to fight this battle anymore. She knew Miko was stubborn, and she didn't want to argue with the girl. Bulkhead dropped them off behind a rock, and Abigail hurries out, allowing Jack and Raf out as well. She froze, however, when Miko didn't get out with them, and Bulkhead took off.

"Oh shoot", she says softly. She watches as Bulkhead climbs up onto the warship, and fights any cons up there. Unfortunately, their good luck had run out, because she heard- and felt- thumps behind her as two similar looking Cons came up behind them. She groaned as she was picked up. Her tentacles were itching to come out, but she willed them away so her secret wasn't ruined just yet. However, she suspected that she would have to use them at some point, but for right now, she would hope that Autobots would find them quickly enough.

It didn't take them long to get onto the ship, and soon they were walking through the dark hallways. Though, it was slightly strange for Abigail. The dark colors seemed familiar to her, almost as if she had seen them before. Shaking her head, she tried to clear her mind of the memories, but they kept coming, until one it hit her mind so hard, it knocked her out, scaring the other two humans.

Abigail stared up at the purple light, giggling at the strange colors that flickered across it. Sometimes there would be red, and sometimes there would be blue, though Abigail didn't know the names of the colors, nor that they were colors.

A masked face appeared over her, and Abigail's happiness soared. She knew that this was her Sire, through what she had overheard from her Carrier and him. She could feel an strong emotion sweep over her, and she giggled again. She reached up her metal arms toward the masked figure, and he picked her. She tried to talk to him, but all that came out were gurgles. This suited her just fine though, as her Sire usually knew what she was saying anyway. He always responded to her, which caused her to giggle more.

And then he was gone, and she was falling asleep inside a strange enclosed thing. She started crying for her Sire to come back, but there was no sign of him, and soon, she was completely asleep, not able to keep her eyes open any longer.

Abigail shot up, noticing that she was in a large room with the others. Raf was the first one to notice that she was awake.

"Abby!" he cried. "You're awake."

Abigail didn't say anything and just stared at him, her lime green eyes wide with shock. She had been on this ship before. When she was a baby. Abigail shifted her gaze from him to the floor before standing up. Taking a deep breath, she looked at Raf, and spoke.

"What happened that got us here?"

Miko was quick to fill her in. After she had passed out, Arcee and Bumblebee had saved them, before running into Bulkhead and Miko. Jack had carried Abigail through most of what happened, to which Abigail was grateful for. After the Autobots had run into each other, they had fought more Decepticons until they got into this room and cleared it for the humans to stay in safely.

Abigail frowned, unsure of how safe this room would actually be until the Autobots got back, and thus looked around the room to find a better hiding spot. However, she noticed a strange equation on the screen above him.

"That's important", she whispered, before looking to Miko. "Take a picture."

The girl nodded, and took a picture of the equation. Raf had opened his backpack, and found a flash-drive.

"Maybe I could download it. If I could find a port that's compatible with the flash drive", Raf says. Abigail shakes her head, but before she could say anything, she heard the door open. She turned to look and saw a Decepticon. Instantly, she turned to the others.

"Get under there!" she whispered fiercely, pointing to a spot under the keyboard that would allow them to hide from the Con. Miko and Jack followed her orders, but Raf put away the flash drive. She growled softly, and was about to shove Raf towards the keyboard when she heard a gun charge up. She turned to look, and saw that the Decepticon had noticed them and was about to shoot at them. In an instant, without a second thought, her tentacles came out of hiding, and she focused her vision onto what she assumed was a main energon line. She fired a shot and hit her target perfectly, though she assumed that it was pure luck.

The Decepticon stumbled back, before focusing its red visor onto her. It flashed angrily, and she ran towards it, her tentacles still out. She attached on of her tentacles onto its leg, and sent an electric shock through it, causing it to fall backwards, completely knocked out. She quickly hid her tentacles again and turned to her companions.

"Do not speak a word of this to anyone", she says darkly, before hurrying Raf over to the rest of them, where they remained until the Autobots showed up. Abigail could hear the confused murmurings of Miko and Jack behind her as they waited and she sighed softly.

"I am not human", she said quietly. "I'm sure you've realized this by now. I am a full cybertronian, though I have no idea why I look like this."

Miko spoke up. "Dude, that was rad, though, with the tentacles! Have you ever used them before that?"

Abigail smiled softly. "I sometimes use them when I'm telling my little sister a story, though not quite like how I used them just now. And the one time I did use them like that, was when I first met Jack, when we first saw the Bots and Cons."

Jack and Raf stared at her in shock. "So that's why Bumblebee didn't have to beat up that one Con", Raf says quietly. "He told me how it had surprised him that he pulled it away from the pipe and it was already knocked out."

Abigail winced. "If I had known that Bumblebee would have been there to help us, I wouldn't have done anything. I would have just kept running with you guys. But I had to protect my best friend, and so that's what I did, because I knew I could do it."

Raf hugged her tightly, and Abigail opened her mouth again to speak, only to stop when the door opened. Abigail's eyes widened at the sight of the masked Decepticon. She recognized him from the dream she had just a few minutes ago. That was her father. Her sire. She froze, and kept the kids quiet as she hesitantly took a step forward. However, someone grabbed her hand and pulled her back. She looked back and saw Jack shaking his head. She bowed her head as she thought frantically, and then nodded at him, agreeing that she shouldn't go out there, even if she wanted to talk to her father about why he had sent her away. She wanted to know if he cared.

She stared at the masked figure, wanting to know him so  badly. She fought against her inner mind, trying to fight against the urge to go be with him. She could feel her fear as if it were bugs crawling up and down her back, but she could also feel her want tugging her forward as if her heart was on a leash. The only thing holding her back was her fear, and Jack's hand holding hers back. Just as the want was about to break free from the fear and Jack's hand, the Decepticon hid in the shadows as the Autobots came into the room.

Abigail was suddenly free from her want, and she took in a long deep breath, not having realized she wasn't breathing as she stared at the Decepticon. She turned to look at the Autobots who were starting to worry about the humans, as they couldn't see them. Abigail led the humans out, and fought back the urge of wanting to go over to her father, who she knew hid in the shadows. She refused to even look at him, knowing that the Autobots would not allow him to talk to to her. She didn't know his name, but she knew the Autobots and she knew they didn't give mercy to Decepticons.

So how would they react if they found out she was the daughter of one?
