Finley pov

We had been walking for about twenty minutes before we came across the rope and knife at the base of the tree I tried to commit suicide at. I stare long and hard at them then turn to jack" if you a killer why did you save me?" I ask he looks up to me "what?" He ask "if you are a killer then why did you save me it's not like you could have recognized me straight away so what made you want to save me?'' I ask he looks down "I-I don't actually know why I did it but I'm glad I did." He says I nod '' so am i'' I say we continue past the rope along the path to my mom's house. I check the back door glad that it was unlocked because it ment Mum was home. I hold it open for Jack then gently close it I listen out for mum. The water was running upstairs so I assume mum was in the shower. I stroll up the stairs and go straight to my room. I opened the door and smile "nothing's changed cool" I mutter. I grab a suit case and start packing. I pack my laptop and its charger . My phone charger a hoodie with my favorite YouTube's logo on it and a plain grey one along with some tanktops and blue and black jeggings. I then pack a few books and the photo of me mum and Jack from the Christmas before he left and a few other necessary things. I zip it up after in done then I carry it down stairs. I then offer Jack a drink which he declined. I have a small glass of milk be for I grab my debit card from the bench I slip it into my pocket as mum comes down the stairs I look up to her and grin tears running down my face "mum!" I exclaim running over and hugging her. She looks at me shocked "Finley? I-I thought you were dead!" She sobs I chuckle "I would have been but Jack saved me" I say pointing at him as he awkwardly shuffled from foot to foot he keeps his head down so mum couldn't see the mask "JACK! YOUR ALIVE OH MY GOD" she says happily I laugh she tilts he head "Jack?" She asks as he continues to keep his head down and feet shuffling  "Jack honey what's wrong?" Mum asks he finally gives in and looks up. His blue mask now has a strange black tar like substance dripping out of the eye sockets. I make a simple 'hmm' sound as I tilt my head as my mum freezes "j-Jack y-you e-eyes?" She mumbles walking forward he cringes and turns his head "i-I'm a m-mo-monster" he whimpers I hear a sniffle as mum wipes her eyes "no baby your not a monster you just unique " she says hugging him he pulls back "no I really am a monster mum i-i-i I ,I kill.... and eat people" he says I gape at him and mentally face Palm ' good going dork you see your mother after what two three years and say I kill and eat people' I think rolling my eyes she looks scared "w-what?" She asks her face pale I step forward placing a hand on her shoulder "don't worry mum he won't hurt us it's just.... uh it's like being a vegan but more cannibalize" I say this time it was Jack's turn to face Palm " it's nothing like being vegan Finley I'm a fucking monster who eats human kidneys and flesh. I'm a cannibal and I have no eyes"he growls running his hands through his tussled Brown hair. Mum takes a step back towards the phone "please dont" he whispers as he looks to her. Mum was shaking badly but managed a small and hesitant nod. He leans against the couch and sighs "I-i if it's ok with you Finley would like to come live with me... she will be extremely safe and I will be teaching he self defence" he says mum looks between us "i-if that is what you want Finley  I can't stop you your old enough to make your own decisions just.... call often" she says i nod "Jack before we go back could I visit marè?'' I ask he shrugs  "i guess it wouldn't hurt" he mutters I hug mum "I love you mum"i say she smiles in return. Jack walks up I her and awkwardly holds his hand out. She smiles and hugs him "monster or not your my son and I love you" she whispers  I smile "I'll call when we get home " I say mum nods and with that we leave I grab the suit case and carry it out. Jack offers to carry it and I gladly hand it to him. He effortlessly halls it over his shoulder and walks with it. As we arrived at marès house Jack stops "I'll wait out hear this time'' he says I nod "ok" and with that I knock on the door and thankfully marè answered "oh my goodness Finley I thought you were dead!"she says her French accent running though the sentace "yeah uhhh..... thankfully no I'm still in one peace and I'm moving" I say hwr face drops "you moving where? Can I come?" She asks I laugh "I'm moving in with... a family friend. .. they live in a ...log cabin not to far from lake Etta  (not real I don't think)" I say twisting the truth she pouts "well I guess this is goodbye" she says I nod "so long but not goodbye. Goodbye I for if you don't think you'll ever see each other and i hope to see you again at some time in the future'' I say hugging her "ok so long dear friend I will not forget about you " she chuckles. I smile and turn to leave but suddenly think of something "how did Madison react? When she found out about the whole me being supposedly dead?" I ask marè. She seemed taken back but answered with "she was guilty and has stopped bullying. She never thought you would actually do it" Marè says I nod "that was why I tried. Because they didn't think I was dumb enough to but I did it i put  a noose around my neck and jumped. But he cut the rope... I stabbed myself" I say holding my top up to show the scar "th a why I was gone do the past month or so not cus I died but because he saved my life but if I stopped her and the other's then dont tell them that Kay?'' I say she nods and with that i turn and leave.
