Bakugou furrowed his eyebrows at the demons before looking back at the bouquet.

This was the day he was waiting for.

To return home.

Or was it really a home to him?

"I... I have somewhere special to attend." He spoke firmly.

Both widen their eyes in surprise. "Prince? The Demon King is waiting for your return."

"You guys know how I don't give a fuck right."

He looked at a clock from a random shop. "Oi I'm running late. Just come back for me tomorrow or something."

"Your Majesty, you must return. The King is waiting. Do not wait for us to forcibly bring you back."

Bakugou scratched his head, not understanding why he must return now.

"Oh yeah? Try me bitch."

The surroundings suddendly turned red as all the people disappeared.

"My Prince, if this is us being late we apologize-"

The demon was cut off by Bakugou blowing a hard kick on his subbordinate's face.

"Yeah. You're extremely late." He mumbled.

Far too late for them to stop their prince's feelings of affection for a mortal.

. . .

You looked at the crowd as your fingers nervously fiddled with each other.

"He's not here yet..." You frowned.

Your teacher approached you, gently caressing your back.

"I'm sorry your brother isn't able to attend L/N. But I'm sure that he's cheering you from afar!" Your teacher comforted.

Unfortunately, something came up with your brother's work.

You were half-alright with it since you understood your brother's work.

Although you couldn't see the blond demon anywhere.

"I'm waiting for someone else..." Your gripped your shirt.

"Oh, don't cry L/N..! You're a very loveable child. They'll be here in no time." She petted your head.

"I... I don't want to perform if he's not here!" You whined as you were still a child after all.

The teacher widened their eyes. "L/N, they'll be upset if you won't perform."

You really wanted to throw a tantrum right then and there.

Until your teacher added, "Do you not trust that person will come?"

Your breath hitched, going through memory lane where you remembered Bakugou supporting you throughout the days.

"I... I do trust him."

Your teacher smiled. "Then perform for him."

You nodded and wiped the tears in your eyes. "I'll do my best!"

The teacher happily clapped their hands beofre giving you a last hug of luck.

Walking towards the stage, you looked at the audience.

You pursed your lips, holding unto the last string that Bakugou would come.

And came did the blondie, bursting the door open catching your attention.

Your eyes widened, sparkling at the sight automatically grinning wide before enthuiastically waving your hand at him.

"Fuck... I thought I was late." Bakugou sighed in relief.

Even though he was a demon, he was out of breath. Which was because he involved himself in a chaotic fight with the other demons.

Fortunately, he was able to finish them before sprinting his way towards the stadium.

That was when the lights turned off as the spotlight was on you.

'Mr. Tsukki came.' You brightly smiled.

And thus you played.

Music fills the air without effort, like the waves filling holes in beach sand; the sound rushing in and around every person in the room.

Some react to the beat, others continue in chatter, but always it speaks to them in some manner.

Bakugou remained still and silent, locking his eyes on you performing.

He clicked his tongue as he looked at his now poorly half-baked flowers. He should've been cautious of them while running and fighting.

Returning back his gaze at you, he felt his heart relax.

It was a wonderful sensation. To feel the melody you create calm the raging storm in him.

As the music began to fade and end, you then bowed making the crowd clap- including Bakugou.

Before returning backstage, you peeked a little to the crowd locking eyes with the demon's ruby ones.

Bakugou rose a brow. With you small hand you gestured him to come meet you.

He sighed, moving from his spot and headed towards backstage.

"MR. TSUKKI!" You exclaimed, lunging towards him like you always do.

Bakugou opened his arms by habit, catching you. "Oi, you did an amazing job for an idiot."

"I may be an idiot, but I can play!" You pumped your fist.

He knelt to your height, petting you before handing out the flowers. "I came late cause I made this. But it's shitty now since I ran on my way here."

But his excuse went deaf to your ears, your eyes sparkled at the messy bouqet that only had a few flowers left.

Be that as it may, it was perfect in your eyes.

You jumped up and down, recieving the flowers. "Yay! Thank you Tsukki! I'll plant this in my garden, give it a name and I'll talk to it everyday."

"Whatever, doesn't matter." He scoffs, looking away.

"Let's sit down together!" You held his hand while the other held the flowers.

Bakugou bent because of your height making him complain at you again.

Dragging him to your seats in the crowd, he grumpily rested his leg on the other and crossed his arms.

You didn't let go of his hand too-not like he was complaining though.

"Oi where's your sibling?" He asked you.

"Somewhere. Says he can't come." You shrugged.

"Huh."

That was when you noticed the indoor family games starting.

"Let's join them!" You hopped out from your chair, pulling the demon.

Bakugou furrowed his eyebrows, groaning. "wHYYYYY."

He continued to whine while you simply dragged him to the center since the chairs were being moved to the side.

"ONE GAME. AND I'M- NO, WE'RE OUT OF HERE." He growled.

You eagerly nodded before saluting. "Yes sir!"

Then the host spoke, "A pleasant afternoon folks! Now we have our family games! To start off with is Newspaper Dancing!"

"Hah?"
"Yay!"

"Rules are simple! Two members of the family can only participate. You are given one piece of sheet from a newspaper and place it down the floor. Dance around the paper when there's music. And when the music stops, both family members have to step on the newspaper. Each round, the paper will be folded- slowly making it small."

"Oh for fucks sake. Dancing?"

As the newspaper was placed on the ground, you bounced on your spot while Bakugou groaned for the hundredth time today.

"Now- ready, get set, dance!"

Thus the game began.

You didn't really dance-you were more on skipping and just clapping around.

While Bakugou just gruffly walked around the paper.

As each round passed, the now folded paper got smaller.

In a way that its size could only fit Bakugou's foot.

Then the music stopped.

"Katsuki upsies!" You raised your hands.

Bakugou sighed as he stepped on the paper with only a foot before swiftly lifting you up in his arms making you hug his collar.

"Look, I got tall!" You scoffed, crossing arms.

The demon chuckled and pinched your cheek. "No shit huh."

That was when you both turned to the host as they spoke, "Well we have a winner! The last family standing!"

Bakugou looked around to see the extras being unable to fit in the paper.

So he smirked. 'Hah, losers.'

"We won!" (๑・'▱'・๑)

Bakugou stepped out from the paper.

Just when he was about to put you down, you hugged him tighter, shaking your head.

"Don't put me down yet. I wanna be tall."

The demon sighs, rolling his eyes. "Whatever."

The host approached you both, as winners. "Congratulations! May you introduce your family?"

"He's my bestfriend!" You grinned.

"Ah, you're a guardian?" The host asked with a smile.

"I guess."

"Then you both deserve a prize! Charm bracelets!" The host exclaims in thrill.

Your eyes twinkled while Bakugou deadpanned.

You received the prize before wearing it which was a bit loose.

"It's a little big for me." You murmured.

"You'll grow up." Bakugou shrugged.

You nodded before you gestured him to bring out his wrist.

With one arm, he was able to carry you while the other raised to reach you.

"You have to promise not to take this off." You put the bracelet on him.

Dangling around his wrist was a cute and colorful bracelet.

He was sure the other demons would look at him weirdly.

With a small smile, he petted your head.

"Yeah, I promise."
