Nandini was in her home watching cartoon and Mohini was feeding her. In between she was also telling her mother what she did all day with Manik. It's her routine that she shares everything with Mohini. Hearing Nandini, Mohini was looking at her with wide eyes. Nandini noticed that and she was also looking at her mother making her eyes big.

"Why are you looking at me like this?" Mohini asked.

Nandini frowned. "You are also looking at me like this. Why?"

Mohini threw a glare to her. "You are roaming around with an unknown boy whole day and you expect me to look at you as if nothing happened? Won't I be shocked?" She asked in a matter of fact tone.

Nandini made a pout hearing her mother. "Manik is not some unknown random boy." She said cutely and gulped the whole glass of water. Then she ran back to her room.

Mohini kept calling her from back as she didn't even have the half of the food. But Nandini didn't pay any heed to her and went back to her room.

Nandini directly fell on her bed and took her phone. She opened Manik's number and was thinking, if she should call him at this hour or not. After thinking a lot Nandini decided to call Manik.

Otherside Manik was in his room doing something in his laptop. He heard his phone ringing, he took it and found 'Baby Girl' flashing on the screen. Manik smiled and picked up the call.

"Hello, hero...." Nandini screamed as Manik picked up the call.

Manik chuckled hearing her. "Hello, baby girl."

Nandini giggled hearing Manik. "What were you doing?" She asked.

"I was making a presentation. What were you doing?" Manik asked.

Nandini made a face. "Mumma was feeding me and now I am talking to you. You were working so I should not disturb you."

"It's okay, baby girl. You are not disturbing me." Manik assured her.

"You do your work. But remember one thing tomorrow you will come to my college at 11 even if it's for 10 minutes." Nandini said actually she ordered him.

Manik again chuckled. "Why?"

"That I will tell you tomorrow." Nandini said.

"Okay, I will be there. Anything more, baby girl?" Manik asked.

"Ummm.... No.  Now you do your work. Bye. Good night."

Manik smiled. "Good night."

Then they hung up the call.

N E X T   M O R N I N G

Nandini was done with her first class. Now she was standing out of her class. It was almost 11 so she was waiting for Manik to come. She was about to call Manik when Parikh came again and stood in front of her.

"Hi, Nandini. What are you doing?" He asked with a big smile on his face.

Nandini rolled her eyes seeing him. "Nothing. What are you doing here?"

"I was saying, we don't have class now. So, why don't we go somewhere?" Parikh stated.

That time Nandini's phone buzzed with a call. It was Manik's call. She smiled brightly and received the call. "Hello! Are you here?"

"Okay, wait there. I am coming in 2 minutes." 

"Bye."

Nandini hung up the call and looked at Parikh with a smile on her face. "So, what were you saying? We should go somewhere, right?"

Parikh nodded his head excitedly.

"Come, I will show you something." Nandini said and started walking.

Parikh also started walking behind her.

They stopped near the gate where Manik was standing. "Hi! Manik...." Nandini exclaimed standing beside Manik.

Manik smiled at her. "Hello, baby girl."

Then looked at Parikh who was standing there watching them. "Manik, meet Parikh, my classmate and Parikh, he is Manik, my man."

Manik looked at with a wondered look but waited for her to explain things. 

"What do you mean by 'my man'?" Parikh asked looking at them with wide eyes.

Nandini frowned. "My man means I like him."

Hearing this Parikh didn't wait there any longer. He literally ran away from there. Nandini giggled looking at him. Manik was still looking at Nandini being startled.

As Parikh went out of her site, Manik asked, "What was that, baby girl? What's happening?" Manik asked folding his hands on his chest.

Nandini showed all her teeth to Manik then broke out in for of laughter. "I know now he will be going to washroom and cry his heart out." She was not able to stop laughing. "Oh! God.... It was so good. I am feeling like hugging you." Now she realized what she was saying. "But we are in college."

Manik was looking at her with amazed. How can someone be so cute?

"Yeah... We are in college." Manik said and Nandini nodded making a sad pout.

"Now you go. I have class." Nandini said.

Manik was confused with her behavior. "What?"

Nandini slapped on her forehead. "You can go now. I have class. I will call you later."

Manik nodded his head. He smiled and bid bye to Nandini.

Nandini was still standing there staring at him leaving. "Thank you for coming." Nandini shouted suddenly from back.

Manik turned back. "Welcome." He too shouted back and smiled.

A   F E W   D A Y S    L A T E R  
Nandini was standing leaning to Manik's car. He was also standing there beside her. Nandini was so angry. Her nose had turned complete red. Her lips were curved in a pout. She was looking like a cute teddy bear.

Manik was observing her. He so wanted to pull her cheeks and cuddle her. But seeing her anger, he was stopping himself.

It's been long since Nandini was standing quietly like this. So, Manik patted her shoulder. "Nandini...."

Nandini angrily jerked his hand away. "You won't talk to me. Never ever."

Manik was about to say something but Nandini cut him in between. "How can you click picture with someone else? You have also uploaded that with a caption. 'With a beautiful lady' I never expected this from you. How can you do this?" Nandini shouted angrily.

"She is just a client nothing else." Manik tried to make her understand but she was too angry.

The situation is Manik had posted a picture with one of his business client whom he met in a party. Apparently the girl was wearing some very reveling cloth and the picture looked quite cozy which was not the case if course. Nandini has seen the post and the caption added fuel to the fire.

Nandini took her bag from Manik's car and she walked away. Manik called her from back but she didn't hear anything.

At Night
Nandini's place
Nandini was sitting on her bed hugging her knees. The lights were off.

Mohini came back home and went to check on Nandini. She was surprised seeing her all gloomy and sitting in the darkness. She turned on the light and went near Nandini.

"Nandini, what happened? Why are you sitting like this? Did anyone say anything to you?" Mohini asked worriedly making Nandini face her.

Nandini didn't say anything. She just nodded in no. Mohini looked at her face, it has turned totally red.

"Nandini, did you cry? Why? What happened? Tell me....." Mohini was getting hell worried seeing Nandini.

Nandini wiped the year from the corner of her eyes and smiled a little which was obviously a fake one. "I am fine, mumma. Don't worry. I am just a little sad but it will be okay. You go and freshened up."

Then she didn't give Mohini a chance to say anything and sent her to her room.

As Mohini left, Nandini looked at her phone. It was buzzing continuously. Manik was calling her again and again but she was not ready to talk to him. She was cutting his call again and again.

Nandini was thinking why Manik being with other girls were affecting her so much. It was breaking her seeing him with someone else as if someone was snatching her heart away from her.

One more part to go. Nandini is not liking seeing Manik with someone else. She is jealous but too innocent name it as jealously.
