Turn up the lights in here baby
Extra bright, I want y'all to see this
Turn up the lights in here, baby
You know what I need
Want you to see everything
Want you to see all of the lights
|The Next Day|
"Hello, my babies! Good morning!" I said, tickling my adorable babies to wake up.
It was already 8 am, and I was planning on taking them to the grocery store so I could shop, especially since Renee and Jon were staying with us for two weeks until their house was renovated and also since I didn't stock the fridge because I've been busy.
They slowly opened their eyes and stared at me. Then in a second, they were smiling so broad that they made me tickle them even more.
They laughed and babbled 'stawp' as if they were saying stop.
I picked them up from their cribs, and we went to the bathroom to take a shower together.
The twins always get excited every time they showered. I guess it's because they liked playing with the water in the tub.
They liked to splash the water.
Santana liked to swim inside the tub and cry if I had to cut her bath short.
Keyana would play with her floating rubber duck in the water, and Santana would keep biting on the duck's head instead of playing with it.
They were attached to purple, so the rubber duck was purple.
One time I even caught Brock playing the rubber duck. It was so funny.
"C'mon, babies; it's time to get out," I said, picking them up out of the tub.
I wrapped them in their hoodie baby towels. They seemed to love it. I quickly placed them on the bed next to a sleeping Brock.
Now, I finally had time to take a shower.
I stripped down naked and went into the bathroom. I looked at the mirror.
I got in the shower and did my bathroom routine quickly. I had to hurry because, in a couple of minutes, my babies would start crying, and I didn't want that.
Before I could wrap myself with the towel, I heard a muffling sound from the bedroom. I went out and saw the twins trying to get out of the towel that I had wrapped them in. Santana looked at me, showing his tongue while Keyana crawled on top of Brock.
"You girls are trouble. Are you hungry now? Come to mommy, Santana." I said, extending my arms to her, making her very excited to be picked up.
"Let's wake up, daddy," I said.
As soon as they heard it, they babbled some words and clapped their little hands together.
"Daddy, wake up!" I said, shaking Brock.
"D-d!" The twins said.
"Brock, get up!" I said.
"D-d!" The twins said.
"a-ma!" Santana said.
"Oh my God!" I screamed.
"What happened?" A sleepy Brock said, waking up.
"Santana almost said, mama," I said.
"Congratulations, kitten, I need to go back to sleep." He said.
"Oh no, you don't. Brock Edward Lesnar, you will get out of this bed and help me feed the kids." I said.
"Damn the whole government name." He said, carefully getting with Keyana on his chest.
I placed Santana on the bed and went into the closet to pick out our clothes for today.
I put on a white long sleeves crop top and black spandex leggings. I top off my sporty outfit with a white baseball hat and matching sneaks.
I grabbed the twins matching Nike outfit and Nike sneakers. I grabbed my shoulder bag, ready with all the things I needed. My bag contained 90% of baby things and 10% of my items.
I walked back out and picked up Santana and put her in her outfit while Brock fed Keyana. Once Brock was done providing Keyana. I put her in her outfit.
"Go, wake up, Kaya, and get her ready," I told Brock.
I smiled at the twins in their matching outfits. I quickly grabbed my phone and took a picture to post on my Instagram.
"Brock, help me get the twins in the car," I said.
"Where are you guys going?" He asked, picking up the twins and following me downstairs to the garage as Kaya ran to the car already.
"First, we're going to get to my dad so we can go grocery shopping and probably go to my aunt's house because she just had a baby," I answered.
"Marie had a baby." He said, shocked.
"Yup, shocking, I know," I placed Keyana in his car seat while Brock put Santana in her car seat.
"Tell her I said congrats on the baby and be safe." He said, walking back inside the house.
I got in the car and pulled out of the garage onto the road. It was a sunny day, and the clouds didn't indicate a possible change of weather, but with climate change, nobody could predict any sudden change of weather. So, I always had an umbrella in the car every time we went outside the house.
There was light traffic since it was Saturday. I looked at the twins, and they seemed to be having fun watching cars pass by. Kaya was on her iPad watching Dora. They would mumble words and keep on flapping their feet and hands.
When we reached the grocery store, I parked the car and got out and grabbed a nearby grocery cart, and placed the twins and Kaya in the cart with my bag. I quickly locked the car and walked into the store.
The twins beamed with excitement. I smiled at them. Santana grinned while trying to reach my face. I leaned down so she could get my face, and she kissed me on the cheek. She mumbled something, and Keyana giggled.
They had their language, and I did not want to know what they talked about.
I gathered everything we needed and put them in the cart. The twins would play with the customers every time we stopped in an aisle for something. The customers were very fond of them.
"Sweetie, look at them." One customer said while we were in the snack aisle.
"Excuse me. You have gorgeous twins." She said.
"Thank you!" I said, smiling at her while putting several snacks in the cart.
Once we reached the check-out station, I unloaded the groceries, and the cashier looked at the twins, and she said 'hello' to them. The twins smiled at her, and she jiggled their hands.
The twins laughed. The twins were the opposite of Brock and me. They were never shy with other people.
The cashier checked all the items and the bag boy placed them in my cart. The cashier told me the total, and I paid the amount and gave the change to the bag boy after he helped me put the bags in the car.
The kids and I got in the car drove to my father's house.

"Go open the door, Kaya," I said as I took the twins out of the car.
"Okay." She said, running to the first door.
"Grandpa!" Kaya yelled, running into the house.
"Dad!" I yelled, closing the door behind me.
"In the living room!" My dad yelled.
I carried the twins to the living room, where Kaya sat on my dad's lap, talking to him about God knows what.
I placed the twins in their playpen that I left here whenever I came over.
"How are you, princess?" My dad asked as I took a seat next to him.
"Great. How's everything?" I asked.
"Peachy." He said.
