Recap: Akhil is lost in Jhaanvi's thoughts. Kamini promises Jhaanvi for a happy life for her

Sheela had called the event organisers and was instructing them about the arrangements for the wedding. She was going crazy in happiness that Akhil was getting married. She had booked the best boutique and jewelers and informed Liya and Kamini to be ready to finalize the costumes and jewels for the wedding.

Akhil came to the living and saw his mother eating the heads of the event managers. He kissed her temple and signalled the persons to leave who ran from there not wanting to be caught again.

Akhi: Mom, Just relax ok. Why do you get stressed. Leave everything to me. Let me handle. You just relax and be happy. 

Shee: Akhil, its your marriage and how can I be cool. And I called your sister Isha and she will be here a day before marriage. Now get ready we are going shopping and Liya will join us directly.

Akhi: I think shopping must be taken care by you. I m bad in it.

Shee: No Akhil, don't miss anything in your marriage. And think of Liya she will feel bad if you are not present to choose her attires.

Akh Mv: Getting in wedding arrangements is best to keep me sane and avoid unnecessary thoughts.

Akhil: Fine, but you will not take my day but finish quickly.

Sheela accepted and they drove to the boutique where Liya was waiting with Kamini but his eyes caught the third person standing behind Kamini holding the shawl covering her face.

Akhi Mv: Thanks to my mother. Now god save her or me.

Sheela cursed in mind for Jhaanvi's presence but did not voiced it out since Kamini liked her a lot.

They were assisted by the manager and many silk sarees and lehengas were displayed for Liya who was sitting and watching one by one along with Sheela and Kamini. Akhil was standing behind them with his hand in pocket but he was watching Jhaanvi who was standing in a corner.

Sheela pulled him closer and showed some sarees and beckoned him to choose one. Akhil randomly picked a green saree but Liya glared at him for his choice. He then chose some three sarees but Liya liked none. 

Akhil: Its better let her choose herself mom. My choice doesn't make her happy.

Liya stood before the full size mirror and put the saree one by one. Sheela praised her for being so beautiful in every saree. Finally Liya chose her saree and Lehenga. Kamini and Sheela chose for themselves. 

Kam: Jhaanvi, come here and choose a saree for you and Sita.

Jhaa: No madam, its ok. We will buy later.

Shee: She is right we need to go to choose the jewels. We should leave.

Kam: Jhaanvi, now come here and do as I say.

Liy: Mom, why do you force her. Lets leave please.

Kam: She will do it quickly and then we shall leave.

Jhaanvi moved to the sarees which could be less expensive but the least price was also the most expensive for her. She could not refuse Kamini's words and kept looking at the saree. Akhil called a girl in the shop and instructed something to her.

The assistant girl took a saree and put on Jhaanvi's shoulder  which looked so beautiful. Kamini was impressed and loved that saree. Jhaanvi looked at the price and it was 25,000/- and refused to accept it.

Kamini: Jhaanvi, this saree looks beautiful on you. Now don't refuse it and we are selecting it.

Jhaanvi: But madam, this is too expensive for me to wear.

Akhi: Mom, all the shopping done today are mine to pay. So lets move quickly. I need to be in office.

He rushed them so that Jhaanvi would not return the saree and quickly made the payment for everything and left the boutique. Sheela and Liya were upset that Jhaanvi got an expensive saree.

Jhaanvi carried the bags and placed it in the trunk of the car and next they headed to the jewelry shopping. As soon as they reached the shop Liya pulled Jhaanvi back and gave a deadly glare to her.

Liy: How dare you buy expensive saree. Who do you think of yourselves. Better stay away until we finish the shopping. You are here just to carry the bags. Get that in your thick skull.

Jhaanvi stayed near the car and others entered inside and started selecting the jewels. Kamini searched for Jhaanvi but Liya distracted her. Akhil saw Jhaanvi standing outside. He wanted to go out but his mind warned him from doing it.

He was looking at the jewels when Sheela called him.

Shee: Akhil, you should select the jewels. Come here.

Akhi: Mom, I have no idea and still if I choose it may not match your expectations nor the sarees that you have bought.

Liya: Akhil just try some if not good I will choose myself.

Akhil selected some gold necklaces and bangles which were really good and Liya accepted some and rejected some.

Liy: How about daimond ?

Kami: Choose whatever you want. 

Liya was busy looking at the diamond jewels and Akhil was too looking at them. A particluar design caught his eye and instantly he liked it very much. At the time of billing Kamini paid for the jewels she chose and Sheela paid for what she chose for Liya. Akhil came with a jewel box and paid for it separately.

Liy: What did you buy and why did you not show it to me ?

Shee: He would have bought it as a surprise for you. Let it be anyhow you will get it later from him. Am I right Akhil ?

Akhi: Yes mom, I bought it for the girl who is disturbing me a lot these days.

They collected the jewels and walked towards the car and by the time Kamini's mobile rang that her father had lost conscious. She started crying and Jhaanvi panicked and urged the driver to start the car quickly.

Shee: don't worry Kamini he will be fine and lets go back and see him. We will follow you to look at him.

Liy: Yes mom, grandpa will be fine don't worry.

They quickly got in the car and Jhaanvi settled in the passenger seat. Akhil was watching the tears and panick stricken face of Jhaanvi which puzzled him. They drove towards Liya's home and as soon as they reached Jhaanvi ran inside home followed by Kamini. Liya took the jewel bags and entered inside along with Akhil and Sheela. Akhil was surprised to see Liya walking casually.

Rajendran was standing worried outside the room and Sita was standing in a corner. Kamini and Jhaanvi were in tears. Akhil was wtaching them and a nurse came out to them.

Nurse: What did he eat in the morning and did he take the tablets ?

Jhan: He ate his usual porridge and I gave him tablets too. How is he now ?

Nur: doctor will meet shortly and can you get us the stored medicines for injections.

Jhan: I will bring now.

Jhaanvi ran from there and came back to the nurse and gave her the box which had the medicines.

In a short while nurse called them inside and the oldman was now conscious and he called for Jhaanvi. She sat next to him holding his hand.

Jhaa: Thatha, ungalukku onnum illa. Neenga nalla irukinga. (Grandpa you are fine and nothing to worry)

Kam: what happened doctor ?

Doc: Nothing his BP shot high and he fainted due to that. Now he is good. Take him for fresh air.

Rajendran: Jhaanvi, why were you not taking care of him properly. See now how he is suffering.

Kam: Raji, Calm down. She is taking care of papa perfectly. Don't blame her. 

Doc: Who is nursing him with his needs ?

Kam: Doctor, Jhaanvi takes care of him completely from the day he fell bed-ridden. She gives him food, tablets and also take him to the park for fresh air. Infact my father loves her a lot like her own grand daughter.

Akhil was shocked to the revealations and turned to Liya who was gulping hardly.

Grand pa: Jhaanvi, oru paatu padriya enakku kekkanum pola irukku.( Jhaanvi, please sing a song, I feel like hearing your voice)

Jhaanvi put his head on her lap and caressed his hair and started to sing.

Before she could complete the song the old man fell asleep and everyone left the room except for Akhil who stood lost completely now. Jhaanvi saw him and their eyes met for few second and she was the first to avert the gaze. Akhil's trance was broken when he heard the voices from outside the room and thats when he realized the tears on his cheeks. He wiped it and walked out of the home. Liya followed him and hugged him from behind who was standing facing the other side.

Liy: Akhil, please don't be angry. We are getting married in few days and if I don't take care of my grandpa it doesn't mean I don't love and care for him. I love my family a lot. Since I go to college and photoshoots she takes care of him and moreover she is a maid and it is her job. So there is nothing to worry. Now lets look after our wedding. Please Akhil.

She turned him and was about to kiss him but Akhil's eyes met Jhaanvi who was taking the shopping bags from the car and did not look at their direction but he knew Jhaanvi had seen them and avoided looking at their direction.

Akhil stopped Liya from kissing him and turned to the other side. 

Akhil: Liya, inform mom I m leaving to office for an important meeting. I will send the car back with driver and she can return home later.

With that he got in the car and left without another word. Liya was getting frustrated that her lie got caught but she was confident that they will get married as they are engaged already and the marriage was in few days.

How is it going. Many might feel annoyed with Akhil's character but he is not bad he is fighting against his feelings for Jhanvi from his heart and the expectations his mind has for his wife. As said already its a fight between heart and mind for him.
