Here's your update!

I noticed something, something abnormal, I blinked my eyes, and it was gone, maybe I was wondering. The doctor came rushing in and then ushered everyone out. She then lifted my t-shirt carefully and removed the bandages

" I think it's infected, you're not taking care of yourself" she said

" I'm sorry" I said not knowing what else to say

She then cleaned the stitches and then bandaged the wound again

" I'm prescribing these ointments, apply them on the bruises that are are on your stomach and back, a nurse will help you, I'll talk to Kartik" she then packed her things and no sooner did she unlocked the door, Kartik rushed inside

" What happened to her?" Kartik said in a worried tone, the doctor explained him everything and then went out

" You just can't take yourself, can't you use your magic to heal yourself or something like that" he said as he walked towards the bed

" Naah, I can't use my magic on myself and it's not magic" I said in a duh done

" Fine, get ready we have to go" he ordered

I looked at him in disbelief, " how am I supposed to go now?" I questioned him

He leaned towards me, " Don't forget, this is my house that you're living in, so you follow my orders, and you just have to go and sit there, nothing much" he sort of whispered and then went away

" I'm really sorry Naira" Megan came with tears in her eyes

" Hey, hey it's fine" I tried to console her, the word 'try', she then started to curse herself

" Hey!!!, Didn't you said you have a dress for me?" I asked to divert her mind

She stopped with the curses and her eyes sparkled, and then we both began to get ready for the masquerade

We all were seated in the cars, Megan, Lucas and me in one while Kartik, Tyler and David are coming in another one, I haven't seen them yet, because we left early due to security reasons.

" Are they coming?" I asked when I saw that our car has entered the parking area of the event, which let me say was quite impressive.

" Ya they'll be here in a few seconds" no sooner did Lucas said that, a car honked near ours, and we noticed David getting out and signalling us to come out. Megan immediately went out, while Lucas turned around and faced me

" Never remove your mask, whatever happens, never ever, you know why" Lucas warned me

" But Xavier already knows that I'm with you guys" I said

" No, cause you're dead to him" he said

" Wait? How??" I asked confused about the situation

" That Kartik would explain you" Lucas said and got out, and I followed him.

" Hey you look beautiful" David commented me

" Oh! Thanks" I was a little surprised and then we started to walk, I intentionally walked slowly so that I can confront Kartik

" I'm dead?" I asked with sweetest voice possible

He looked at me with horror and then wore his mask

" We have to take necessary steps" he said

" But then, why bring me here??" I asked him still not understanding anything

" I know him, he would send his men to my house tonight, to confirm that you're dead, though you'll be Infront of him" he smirked

" Ya but how did you made me dead?" I questioned again

" Ahh...that..." He said and took a deep breath, and then pecked me on my lips and speed walked away, I just stood there dumbfounded

What the hell was that?!
