Surprise Bitch

Dean and Cas walked downstairs together. Sam was in the kitchen telling his mom about Dean's plan to leave. They walked into the kitchen and Mary's head shot up. She said sternly, "Cas, can you go back upstairs for a few minutes? I need to talk to Dean, alone."

Cas swallowed hard and walked back up the stairs. He sat on Dean's bed and called Charlie. After a few rings she answered, "Hey, Cassie."

He smiled, her voice already calming him. He replied, "Hey, Charles. Just wanted to call and say the plane landed safely and we are at his house now. He's currently talking to his mom about leaving. I'm a little worried she won't let him, but just distract me or something from this because my anxiety is kicking in."

She paused for a moment. "Well, um, Hannah and I are on our way to a sperm bank. Surprise bitches," Charlie exclaimed.

Cas choked on air, "Woah, what?!"

"We've been talking about having a child for awhile now and we figured why not now? So yeah, we are going to meet some people, do some paperwork, and look through a book for a sperm donor."

"That's huge, Charlie! You're going to be a mom! But I thought you hated kids?!"

She chuckled, "I know that's what I always said, but we really want this. I'm going to be carrying a child inside of me, Cas."

Cas smiled with tears of joy falling down his cheeks. He said, "I'm going to be an uncle! Man, mom and dad would be so happy for you."

Charlie started crying on the other line, "Yeah, they would. I can already see what they would have done. As soon as we would tell them, they would immediately start kissing me and touching my belly even if nothing was there yet. They would spoil this child so much."

Cas wiped away a tear, "Does it ever get easier? Not having a mom to kiss you goodnight and feed you soup or sing you a song when you're sick, someone who's there for all the important and rough times in your life. Even having a dad to hug you and tell you he's proud of you, someone to watch the game with and yell at the tv when something stupid happens. I miss that, Charlie. Mom making breakfast in the morning and singing her show tunes with Dad humming and whistling along to her in a beautiful melody, while he reads the paper with a black coffee in hand. It just never gets easier, does it?"

Charlie was silent with only the sound of her crying silently. She sniffled and said finally, "We will always have each other. I'll always be there for you when you're sick to care for you. I will never be mom, but I'll always be your sister. You'll be in the delivery room with me when this child is painfully coming out of me and you'll hold my hand to get me through the pain. Just like mom or dad would've done. You'll walk me down the aisle in our cosplay at the courthouse. Then, you'll stand beside me as my maid of honor and that's how it's going to be. I know dad can't walk me down the aisle and give me away, but I know that you will try your best to do what you have to do. You'll be crying beside me just like mom would have. When the baby is born you'll hold it in your arms and so because it's going to be beautiful. We can't replace mom or dad, but we'll be there for each other during the times mom and dad should've been. It doesn't get easier, but hey we'll live, we'll make it work because that's what we have to do."

Cas smiled through his tears, "I love you, Charles. I'm proud of you, you're going to be a great mom."

He could hear her smiling through the phone, "I love you too, Cassie. I'll always be proud of you. And thank you, that means everything to me. Smell ya later, bitch."

Cas chuckled a little and sniffled, "Bye, Charles." He hung up the phone and rubbed his finger against her contact name.

The door slowly creaked open and there stood Mary. She half-smiled and sat beside Cas. She wiped away one of his tears with her thumb. Cas looked up at her. She whispered, "I didn't want Dean to go. I came up here to tell you that wasn't allowed to leave, but I overheard your conversation....and I realize that you need him. I understand that. The main thing is that I can't separate those two boys downstairs. They're brothers and they need each other. Not in the same way that you and your sister need each other, but they still do. I've decided that Sam and I are going to move to Ohio next month. I'll look for some job openings and so forth. I'll let Dean come back with you."

Castiel wrapped his arms around her and hugged her. She was hesitated at first, but smiled and hugged him back. He whispered, "Thank you.."

"Anytime, sweetheart."

They let go and Dean gently knocked at the door. Cas wiped away any remaining tears. Cas told him, "So, Charlie and Hannah are going to have a baby!"

His jaw dropped in shock. He ran to Cas and hugged him, knocking him over slightly. Mary said, "And I'm letting you move in with him, Dean. Sam and I are going to move to Ohio next month, so we don't have to be apart."

Dean hugged Cas tighter and kissed his cheek. Mary whispered, "I'll give you two a minute and go tell Sam the news."

As soon as she left the room, Dean leaned Cas back and straddled him as their lips connected and moved against each other in sync. Dean moved away an inch and licked his lips. He opened his eyes and whispered, "Now, I get to keep you forever."

"I'll always be yours," Cas answered.
