Chapter 7
"I love it!" You clapped your hands together, beaming. Hiro smiled as well.
"It's-"
"Sick!" You finished, running your hand down it's length.
"Yeah!" Hiro laughed. The finished suit in front of you had turned out better then you could have ever imagined. The black and white fabric it was made out of was developed to hold an electrical charge so powerful, it could be blasted back at the enemy. The polished, black helmet had one long, whit stripe down the center, and was equipped with a communication device to alert the rest of the team if needed. You picked up the gloves, made of the same fabric, and set them aside. They held tiny magnets that allowed you to summon any piece of metal within their wide range. It had taken nonstop hours to create this work of art, and you have never been more proud of anything.
You turned to Hiro, and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you so much Hiro." He returned the hug, sighing.
"It was fun. I'm still worried about you though." You pulled away.
"Hiro, I'm not a little kid. I can take care of myself." He looked you in the eye, smiling sadly.
"I know."
You turned, shutting the doors to the closet that you both kept your suits in.
"You want to go watch a movie or something? I'm exhausted." Hiro nodded, and led the way back upstairs. You plopped yourself on the couch and sighed happily. "Ah, that feels good." Hiro popped a movie in the player, and sat down next to you. "What did you put in?" You asked him, scooting closer.
"You'll see," he smirked, and you glared at him, leaning back. The movie turned out to be some old horror movie, and, as much as you hated to admit it, you hated horror movies. Now, you didn't like telling anyone this, because obviously they would tease you. And, you kept quiet as it started. But, whenever things would pop up out of nowhere, you would jump a little. Apparently, Hiro noticed, and wrapped an arm around you. "Are you seriously afraid of horror movies (Y/N)?" He asked jokingly. You nodded, hiding your face in a pillow. You expected him to go on teasing you, but he only returned his attention to the TV. You didn't look up again.
~~~
"(Y/N)?" Your eyes fluttered open at the sound of your name. Hiro was standing over you, and helped you to your feet.
"Hiro?" Hiro smiled at you, pulling you closer.
"You fell asleep," he whispered, looking at you.
"Y-yeah I guess so. You were incredibly close at the moment, and you tried to hold down your blush. Hiro was acting really strange. "Hiro, are you okay?" You asked carefully. He pulled you even closer so your faces were mere inches away.
"I'm fine." He closed the gap, leaning in and closing his eyes. Then, you woke up.
The sound of the TV was still going, and you opened your eyes, looking around. You saw Hiro above you. Turning your head, you saw you were sprawled across the couch, with your head on the pillow resting in Hiro's lap. You scramble up quickly, and Hiro looked at you.
"Oh, hey, you're awake." You just stared at him, the dream you just had came flooding back to you.
"Y-yep, I'm up." Your face turned bright red, and you covered it with your hair, sitting on the far side of the couch. Hiro raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything. All you could think about was the weird dream, not being able to concentrate on the movie that was still playing. "Hey, Hiro, I'm gonna go to bed okay?"
"Uh, sure, I guess. See you in the morning." You nodded, walking quietly up the stairs. You fell asleep as soon as your head hit your pillow.
