Chapter 22
"Asia?" You whispered, bringing a hand to your mouth. Hiro put a hand to his lips, signaling for you to be quiet. Creeping closer, you were just able to make out their conversation.
"I know!" Asia's angry voice echoed throughout the room. "Just tell me why! Enough stalling!" The rest was inaudible, and you looked questioningly at Hiro.
"Follow me." He whispered, but before you could move, a loud squeaking noise resounded throughout the empty room. You looked up to see none other then Baymax making his way towards Asia, his large figure casting an oversized shadow on the wall opposite you. You heard Hiro groan, before he stood up, so he was in plain view. You heard Asia gasp, and you stood up beside Hiro, meeting her gaze. She looked horrified. "(Y/N)..." You slid under the railing, and walked towards her, still holding her gaze.
"Asia," you spat the word, glaring at her.
"(Y/N), what are you doing here?" She stuttered, turning away from your father to face you.
"The question is, what are you doing here? With my father." You words were cold, and she visibly flinched as you spoke.
"(Y/N), it's not what it looks like-"
"What do you mean?" You cut in. "You have my dad, tied to a chair while you interrogate him. What's it supposed to be?"
"Just, let me explain." You felt your blood boiling, and your face was red with anger. You were pretty sure you've never been so mad at anyone in your life. You felt a hand on your shoulder, and turned to see Hiro looking at you, wearing a slightly worried expression. You breathed a little, and gave him a reassuring smile, before turning back to Asia.
"Fine, but make it quick." She nodded.
"Your father has lied to you your whole life," she began, gesturing to him where he still sat, tied to the chair, his eyes closed. "He never told you about me, and you lived, not knowing you had a sister living so far away."
"Half sister," you corrected. Asia didn't answer.
"But, there are some things he didn't tell you." She turned to glare at your father, and you felt a pang of sympathy, for him as he wouldn't meet her eyes. "When I was born, he claimed mother didn't want me, but really, he didn't either." She paused here, taking a deep breath. "(Y/N), we're not half sisters, we're full sisters, with the same parents." Your eyes widened.
"But, you have a different father right? And his wife is your mother?" She shook her head.
"They were only kind enough to take me in after my birth parents abandoned me." She shot another glare at her dad.
"Dad," you turned to him. "is this true?" He nodded slowly, unable to speak with the gag in his mouth. "But Asia, why would you kidnap him?"
"He deserves to pay for what he's done!" She spat harshly. "He abandoned his own daughter, and then replaced her!"
"Asia," Hiro stepped up. "I have something to ask you." She nodded. "On the a man, who tried to kill us. He was controlling Baymax with a remote, and on it, we found DNA in his finger prints that matched hers. It was you wasn't it?" You felt like you were going to be sick.
"Yes, it was... but the man isn't me. He's real, and allowed me to team up with him..."
"You teamed up with the man who tried to kill me?" She shook her head.
"I never meant for you or anyone else to be harmed!"
"My my Asia, are we having second thoughts?" A harsh, cackling voice came from the shadows. "Are you sure about that?"
