Chapter 16

A few weeks had passed since you met your long lost half sister, and you had to admit, she was pretty cool. She was 24, just got out of collage, and was currently a model. After getting her know her better, you felt more comfortable around her, so when she offered to take you out for ice-cream, it was an offer you couldn't refuse.
        "It smells so good!" You exclaimed, taking a deep breath. Asia chuckled, closing the door behind you.
        "It's my favorite place," she told you. "Pick anything you like. It's on me." Your eyes lit up, and you dashed over to where the ice-cream was displayed.
        "I'll take two scoops of chocolate ice-cream on a waffle cone please." You told the employee. He nodded, and handed you your cone (Sorry if you don't like chocolate, then pretend it's another flavor). Asia ordered strawberry, and you sat outside to eat it. "It's so hot!" You complained, taking a bite out of your waffle cone.
        "Yeah," Asia agreed.
        You sat and talked for about an hour, and then decided to head home. Asia said she would be staying in a hotel for a while before she went back to where she lived with her parents in New York. "So, are you and Hiro like... together?" She asked you out of the blue as you were walking home. You stared at her incredulously, and heat rushed to your cheeks.
        "What? No, we're just friends!" Asia smirked.
        "That's what they all say." You huffed, shoving your hands in your pockets and turned your attention to the ground as you walked. "Have you ever thought what would happen if he liked you?" She asked after a moment of silence. You cleared your throat.
        "Well, he doesn't so... there."
        "He'd be stupid not to. You're smart, funny and pretty." You flashed her a little smile. You'd never really thought about it like that. I mean, besides that dream you had all those nights ago, Hiro never really showed any interest in you, nor you him, though there were a few times when you had some little moments. You blushed even harder at this thought, and continued to stare at the ground.

                                                                                                                         ~~~
        "We're back!" You announced swinging the door to Hiro's bedroom open. Hiro was sitting at his desk, typing away on his computer, and he turned to you as you entered.
        "Hey (Y/N)! How was it?"
        "Good. You find anything yet? It's been weeks!" Hiro heaved a sigh.
        "No, still nothing. I doubt he'll be back again."
        "What are we going to do?" You asked, sitting down on Hiro's bed. "I mean, even if we found him, what could we do? We're just kids."
        "Don't forget (Y/N), we're superheroes now!" You'd pretty much forgotten about that suit you had made when you first found out about Hiro's little secret.
        "Oh, yeah, I haven't gotten the chance to try out my suit yet." You told him thoughtfully. Hiro looked down at his hands.
        "Let's hope you won't have to anytime soon," he muttered darkly.
        "(Y/N)!" You heard your father call up to you. "Asia's leaving! You should come say goodbye!" You stood up, and ran down the stairs.
        "Bye Asia!" You tackled her in a hug, and she smiled.
        "Bye (Y/N), I'll see you tomorrow okay?" You nodded. "I want you to tell me more about Hiro," she added quietly, before standing up, and waving one last time. You tried to ignore your reddening face as you waved back. Asia winked at you, before walking out the door behind her mother.
