The men in black looked at Jiho, swinging their bats and metal pipes as they circled him. "Guys, let's just pretend this never happened, okay?" he tried to reason with the men, but one of them cried before charging towards him, swinging his bat.

Meanwhile, Chaeyoung and Minseok watched from the car a few meters from the scene. The former looked at him worriedly, "Minseok, do something! Jiho will get hurt if he...."

Minseok stopped her before shaking his head. "You are worrying for no reason, Miss Park."

Chaeyoung looked at her PA in confusion, "what do you mean? Jiho is clearly outnumbered."

"That doesn't mean he would get his – pardon my language, ass beaten," Minseok said, pointing at the scene, "look."

She followed his pointing and saw Jiho easily throw someone before grabbing another man and twisting his arm. He huffed before elbowing another man's face, pushing the man whose arm Jiho was twisting towards the elbowed guy, sending both of them tumbling backwards.

"Okay, seriously, guys, I hate having to say the same thing twice," Jiho sighed before cracking his neck. He walked towards a man trying to get up before kicking his face, sending him rolling slightly.

The bully that was watching frantically grabbed a bat from the ground and swung it towards Jiho, but he was too slow. "stay out of this, kid," he scolded before grabbing the bat, throwing it aside and kicking the bully's stomach.

Back to Minseok and Chaeyoung, they were watching the scene unfold before them – while the former was watching with a poker face, Chaeyoung couldn't help but grimace and groan whenever Jiho landed a hit at the men in black.

After half an hour, only a few men could stand, standing cautiously while eyeing Jiho. "Like I said, guys," he sighed before grabbing a metal pipe and throwing it towards the men, "let's pretend that this never happened, and we call it a night, okay?"

The old man, whose nose finally stopped bleeding, threw a stone at Jiho, "I didn't pay you guys to become this bastard's punching bag! You have guns – use them to kill him!" he snarled before getting inside his car, followed by his kids.

After they drove away, Jiho was left with the men as they pulled out their guns and aimed them at him. "You are dead meat," one of them said smugly.

Jiho raised his hands and cleared his throat, "easy there, guys. I don't want to die today."

"Bah! We don't fucking care anymore!" another one spat before stepping forward, still aiming his gun at Jiho.

Behind one of the vans, a man dressed in all black snuck behind the men and knocked them out one by one – Jiho sighed and shook his head, knowing that it was Yixing. The armed men looked around in panic, "who is that?" one of them shouted as he started shooting in the dark. Jiho took this chance to charge towards the others, putting them down and knocking a few of them out before snatching a pistol from one of the unconscious men and aiming at the last man standing.

The last man, realizing he was the only one left, dropped the gun and put his hands in the air. "Okay, I give up!" he said, his lips shaking. "Please, don't kill me."

"See? Is it really that hard to concede defeat?" Jiho asked before taking the magazine out of the pistol and dropping it. "But unfortunately, you made me ask you guys twice," he said before throwing the weapon at him, hitting the bullseye.

Yixing stepped out of the shadow and walked over the unconscious man and towards Jiho. "You still have it in you," the former exclaimed, taking his facemask off. "I thought you said you are done with violence."

Jiho shrugged and dragged the unconscious bodies towards the vans, resting them against the vehicles, "it is necessary violence," he exclaimed before looking at Yixing, "are you going to help me with these gangster wannabes or what."

Meanwhile, Minseok and Chaeyoung watched until the end before the latter looked at her PA, "how did you know he can defend himself?" she asked.

Minseok took a deep breath, resting an arm against the window before sighing, "I can tell that Jiho is not any ordinary florist," he said and looked at Chaeyoung, "he has the face of someone who grew up in a violent environment."

"Why don't you take him?" Chaeyoung asked with a huge grin.

The latter looked at her, raising an eyebrow, "what? Like, adding him to your security force?"

Chaeyoung shrugged, "why not? He might accept it."

The next day, Minseok and Chaeyoung paid Jiho a visit to the flower shop the latter was working at. Mingyu, confused by the number of men in black suits outside and inside the shop, looked at Jiho.

"What's going on here?" he asked.

Jiho looked at him and shrugged, "I have no idea."

Minseok stepped in front, "can I have a few words with you, Jiho?"

Jiho and Mingyu looked at each other before the former looked at Minseok, "sure," he said before leading Minseok and Chaeyoung into the staff room.

Once inside, Minseok locked the door and turned to look at Jiho with his usual poker face. "I believe that you value your time as much as we do, so I will get straight to the point," he said.

Jiho nodded, crossing his arms before leaning against a counter. "Please do."

"I want you in my team," Minseok exclaimed, looking at Chaeyoung, sitting on the couch while looking at Jiho hopefully.

"What team?" Jiho tilted his head slightly – it's not a football team, that's for sure.

Minseok took a deep breath, "I would like you to join Miss Park's sec...."

Before he could finish his words, Jiho cut him off – finally figuring out what team he was talking about. "I'm sorry, but I will reject that offer."

Chaeyoung looked at him in surprise, "but Jiho...."

Jiho shook his head, "I think you guys got the wrong man – I can't defend myself, let alone an heiress to a multibillion company," he said, looking at Chaeyoung seriously. "That being said – I don't even know any martial arts," he added.

Minseok shook his head, "those excuses are not applicable in this situation, Yoo Jiho."

"What makes you say that?" replied Jiho, raising an eyebrow at the shorter guy.

"We saw you last night – how you beat up those men," Chaeyoung said.

Jiho looked at her and continued to do so for a few more seconds before shaking his head, "even if you did, I still stand by my decision to reject the offer," he said before walking towards the door, reaching for the doorknob.

Before he could wrap his hand around it, Minseok grabbed his wrist, "you don't mind if I test you a little, right?" he asked with a smirk. Jiho looked at him and took his hand off the former's grip before taking a few steps away.

"I'm sorry, but this is a shop, so please refrain from showing violence," he said before reaching for the doorknob – before he could do it, Minseok threw a punch.

Jiho was quick to dodge the punch – he grabbed Minseok by his wrist and threw him to the floor, pinning the latter's arm with his knee, grabbing him by the wrist, and a fist right above his face, "once again, this is a shop. Refrain yourself from causing a scene," he growled before letting go of Minseok's wrist.

He got up and fixed his shirt and apron before looking at Chaeyoung, "if you are interested in buying flowers, come to the counter and ask either me or my coworker, Mingyu," he bowed before opening the door and stepping out.

As soon as he stepped into the shop, he was surrounded by Chaeyoung's bodyguards, their pistols aimed at Jiho. Mingyu's eyes widened, "holy shit!" he exclaimed before hiding under the counter.
