Chapter Eleven: The Confrontation
"Fights between siblings is common but don't let them ruin the beautiful relationship."

Ron Weasley awoke to the shout of his wife Hermione. He groaned as he remembered where he had to go that night.
"Ron! Wake up! Wake up Ronald!" Hermione shrieked, jumping up and down on the bed.
"Whoa, whoa! Cool there, Hermione! The bed is going to brea- blimey!" Ron exclaimed as he was smacked on his head.
"Ron! I need to tell you something! Don't you dare get angry!" Hermione muttered breathlessly. Ron nodded. "Promise?"
"Promise."
"You are going to be a father!"

Ginny Potter awoke to the sound of the garage opening. She blinked her eyes as they adjusted to the darkness. Sitting up, she straightened her top and fixed her hair as the headlights turned on. Sunlight was streaming through cracks but it was not enough to see the face of her brother.
"Oi, Ron!" Ginny shouted out to her brother who was leaning on the front of the car, blocking the headlights' light. "Get out of there and come in!"
Ron stayed still and Ginny frowned. The fight that she got into yesterday with him was still fresh in her mind and she was well aware that it was the same with Ron. With a sigh, she got out of the car - her new home - and walked to the front and sat on the front, beside her leaning brother. Ron felt nervous for some reason and that was all Ginny could feel, being unable to see his face due to the lack of light.
"Ron-"
"It's okay. You know, I am . . . Blimey! I am going to be a father, Ginny!" Ron exclaimed and the headlights flashed brightly, dimming her eyes for a minute as she pounced on her brother in happiness. Ron hugged her back just as tight.
"Dear me, Ron! I am so so delighted! Congratulations!" Ginny wished in happiness.
"Thanks," Ron said shyly. "I think I should just pass the meeting. You know? I don't think this is the time to tell such a news. . ."
"Are you mental?! This is just the news to make everyone happy!" Ginny argued.
"Everyone would be disgusted with me, Ginny! My sister has just passed and with what expression do I go and tell them that I am going to be a father? What will Harry feel? Even he was going to become a father if it weren't for those ruddy murdere-"
"Enough Ron!" Ginny shouted, her hands were covering her ears. She could listen no more about her baby not coming into the world.
"It is true! I'd rather never tell them about this child than telling them now!" Ron retorted.
"You can't do that," Ginny said simply.
"You did! You both did! You both did not tell us when you found out about your daughter!" Ron protested.
"Shut it, Ron! We were abo-"
"Yeah, Harry never told m-" Ron started but was cut off.
"I've had enough, Ron!" Ginny shouted seeming to be on the verge of exploding. "You don't know what it's like to fake a smile when someone talks about my unborn baby!"
"And you don't know what it's like when your family is disgusted with you and you never will!" Ron retorted. "Now I regret buying Angelia."
"You don't want me to be here, do you?" Ginny asked, angry tears escaping her brown eyes. "Everything is over!"
Without a word, Ron stormed out as Ginny fell down to the floor in tears. Her shoulders shook uncontrollably and she held them as treacherous tears flowed down her eyes. No fight had gone this far and it depressed her given that she wasn't even a proper human. She felt knives in her heart, piercing and poking the broken feeling. The headlights dimmed and darkness loomed over the isolated garage. Several depressing words were heard in her head as she shook her head for no purpose. A sad tune started playing and Ginny was the one who persuaded the radio to play it despite the pleading pleas of her heart to not do it.
Hours passed and the sunlight outside was fading to let the moon shine. Ginny blinked open her heavy eyelids as she heard sounds of Ron and her best friend, Hermione arguing. She sat up and harshly rubbed the newly forming tears away. She looked around and found the clock reading the time as half past five in the evening. It was almost time for the supper at The Burrow. Ginny got up and straightened her outfit as the headlights switched off. She sat in the back seat of the Ford Angelia just as the garage opened with a creak.
"-whether you like it or not!" Hermione's voice boomed in the garage. Ginny then noticed the arguing pair. Hermione opened the front door's seat and sat in. Ron begrudgingly took the driver's seat. Ginny turned away when Ron readjusted the front mirror to not show her. Ron ignited the engine and Ginny felt fresh breeze blow her red hair as Hermione opened the window. She bit her lip so as to not let out a sob. She was not always fearless as anyone would think her to be. Ginny had flaws of her own which were hidden behind the eyes of the world and she would gladly let it be that way.
Sceneries flashed by her eyes in a blur but she was not concentrating. She had something on her mind and she was going to do that tonight. No matter what Ron said or did she would do it.
After sometime which seemed like an eternity to the redheaded witch, the group of three finally arrived at the driveway of The Burrow. The topsy turvy house was beautiful in the eyes of Ginny who had last seen her house weeks ago. Although there was the sense of missing happiness, the house still looked lively thanks to the decorations put up by most probably her eldest brother, Bill.
A small sob escaped Ginny's throat. She could not stop it as she felt all her memories rush through her mind and prevail her heart. The Burrow would always remain her home even if she was married. It was the place where she grew up, plucking tiny irises, tossing meddlesome gnomes, take a fly in the night with the stars cheering her on, feeding the funny winged chickens, playing with her pet pygmy puff, Arnold; drawing doodles, learning to cook and not to mention all the blisters and burns she got when doing so, dozing snugly in her bed, doing holiday homeworks, chatting with Hermione, snogging Harry, teasing her brothers especially the one with whom she fought recently - they were all the memories this sacred place held for her. Nostalgia and hiraeth seemed very small words to her right then.
Ron parked the car under a tree, far from the magical house. Without a glance he left and Hermione hurriedly packed her belonging before chasing behind Ron, muttering his irresponsibility as she magically locked the car. Ginny blinked rapidly as flurry and fuzzy figures began to form in her eyes. When her vision was free of water and blurs, she looked forth and spotted a tiny figure hugging her bushy haired friend. Ginny smiled a teary smile as she found out that it was James, her eldest son. He was talking rapidly but Ginny could not hear it. Another figure came out and hugged Hermione. Ginny strained her eyes and could finally make out a blob of raven, messy hair. She laughed as she saw Harry standing there and arguing playfully with James. His arms held little Albus who was dozing comfortably in his father's arms. She thought comically that the letter had worked and knocked some sense into the oblivious idiot's head. However, her happiness was short-lived. Just as her sons, Harry and Hermione disappeared into the house, her smile turned to a frown.
The lock of the car clicked open and it slowly began to move forward, unbeknownst to everyone but her eyes. It reached the windowsill of the living room and locked itself with another identical click. Ginny was left lying on the back seat, her mind racing with several thoughts as a bubble of conversations floated to her eavesdropping ears. Her mission was yet to start and she would never be hearing about any of these sad talks. Never.
It was a bit of a short chapter but I wanted to put that cliffhanger in there. ;)
