Murderer: Sujan Janis

Motive: Several weeks before the conference, the Fae (one of the supposed extinct races that were living hidden in the Fae forests) discovered that should the treaty not go through, the humans had been designing and building weapons in preparation for a war. The Pixies sent Sujan to the conference in order to kill Tyler Madson, one of the heads of the project, and to steal the blueprints he had on his person.

How: Even though Jahai wasn't informed of the murder until Sujan made him apart of his alibi the night before Detective Kingston showed up, his secretary Wyn was in on the plan. As a seven-tailed kitsune, Wyn was not only an illusionist, but a necromancer. He was the one who covered Sujan's tracks as he planted the poisoned bottle of wine in Tyler Madson's room and stole the plans. He was also responsible for the poisoning of the pizza and the bomb that had shredded Jahai's wings, although he's deeply regretful about the latter. Essentially, his job was to get Sujan out, as well as any allies in the potential war, which we now know as Seraphina of the Elves, Lightning of the Dragons, Jahai of the Fairies, Mizu of the Sirens, Woodrow of the Satyrs, and Oak of the Nymphs. This left Kaden of the Werecreatures, Durf of the Goblins, Cognac of the Centaurs, Caspian of the Merpeople, Melkorka of the Dwarves, and Rose of the Humans knocked out in the temporary conference room set up by the human government.

And that's it! Sorry it took so long to put out a short chapter, I got the stomach bug and was knocked out of commission for a few days there. Plus, Wattpad's been under maintenance (for me, at least) for a two days so I couldn't get to publish it. Sorry, again.

As for a sequel, there's one in the works, and if it's posted it's definitely going to happen sometime in February because I've got midterms in two weeks!
