Tsubaki's POV - At Somepoint

"Leaf Hurricane!"

I open my eyes and I regret it, my eyes burn.

I rub my eyes and I get up from my laying position and I walk through the tree to the front and I watch Lee fight the sound Ninja from earlier.

"Lee." I say surprised.

"Tsubaki, your awake!" Sakura says to me surprised.

"Pretty hard not to be with all the yelling, surprised Uchiha and Naruto are sleeping still." I say and Sakura looks worried.

The twins help Lee and I watch as I rub my eyes, trying to stop the burning.

Lee gets knocked out and I watch him surprised, and the twins fall at my feet, one ear on each of them, bleeding.

I ruffle their hair and I walk forward.

I look at the Sound Ninja, and I analyze them.

"A Hyuga." The girl says to me, cocky.

"I'm out matched, but we'll see how this goes, I'm gonna get a serious lecture from my Father after this exam ends." I mutter to myself.

I activate my Byakugan and my eyes ache again, but I ignore it, I watch their Chakra, and I dodge the sound waves by watching the Chakra, I fight all three, when Neji covers my back side.

"How are you always surrounded?" Neji asks me annoyed.

"Excuse me, but I can handle this." I say to him, irritated.

"Yeah right." Neji scoffs.

Sasuke takes care of one guy, while Sakura deals with the girl and the kast guy retreats with his team.

"That was fun." I say as I deactivate my Byakugan.

Neji rolls his eyes. "You shouldn't activate your Byakugan if it hurts, you over used it while training yesterday." Neji says to me annoyed.

"I know." I say to him. "Not like I've had much choice otherwise though." I say to him.

Neji eyes my shoulder and scoffs.

Me and the twins leave soon and we head straight to the tower, taking a couple hours while running, but we make it to a door and we go in.

I pull out the scrolls and the twins ponder what to do about them, but I open the scrolls and its a summon mark that grows bigger, I drop the scrolls and out poofs Mrs. Amano.

"Your a Chunin?" The twins asks surprised.

She looks amused and I look up at her.

"Mom, Tsubaki doesn't have a Mother figure." Hiroto says to her and she looks at me surprised.

I just shrug and I look up at the board. "If qualities of heaven are what you desire, acquire wisdom to take your mind higher. If earthy qualities are what you lack, train your body and prepare to attack. When heaven and earth are opened together, the perilous path will become righteous forever. This blank is the secret way that guides us from this place today," I trail off confused.

Mrs. Amano explains to us, and I just nod, while the twins sit down, exhausted.

Mrs. Amano looks at me. "Tsubaki, when this is over, would you like to join us for dinner?" She asks me.

"And can she sleep over?" The twins ask her.

"Why not." Mrs. Amano says to them.

I nod. "I'll join you for dinner." I say and she smiles and pats my head then ruffles the boys hair and disappears with a poof.

I sit down with the boys, and we relax for a while.

Once the Week ends

We stand in lines for the Jonin and Lord Hokage.

I tenderly rub my shoulder as Lord Hokage talks.

I just watch and then Hayate interrupts, and says we have to do a prelim, but first, people who would like to forfeit should do it now.

The silver haired boy from the first exam raises his hand, Naruto makes an outburst, but the twins forfeit as well.

I just watch them leave.

The rules are explained, and Sasuke is the first one, along with Kabuto's teammate.

I watch the fight next to Hina.

"T-Tsubaki, why is your shoulder bandages?" Hina asks me nervously.

"I stabbed it." I say to her and she looks alarmed. "I was stuck in a genjutsu, and out of brilliance, I decided to stab myself, worked, I got out." I say to her and she looks at me worried, but I just watch the fight.

Takahiro-Sensei gets here, he left with the twins to check on them.

"Hello Sensei." I greet with a nod.

"You didn't forfeit." Sensei says as he pats my heads.

"Hiroko and Hiroto were getting more and more bothered by their split ear drums and their injuries, that's why they forfeited." I say to him and Sensei nods.

Sasuke wins the match, and he and Kakashi leave.

Of course, I get the next match, I'm up against a grass nin.

I walk down the stairs and I stand in front of the grass ninja.

He smirks and I get irritated by him.

"YOU GOT THIS TSUBAKI!" Naruto yells.

I know.

The match starts and I watch as the grass nin whose name is Haru, starts some hand signs.

I activate my Byakugan and it still aches a little, but I 64 palm the guy and he flies back into the wall.

I move back into my stance as he gets up.

I watch the guy as he smirks at me. "Was that all you got?" He asks me and rocks fall off him.

Well,

He stupidly engages me in a tai-jutsu match, and I knock his arm back and hit chakra points and he attempts to swipe my legs out from under me, but I back flip a pace, hitting him in the chin, and I land on my feet again as he falls on his back.

He gets up and runs at me, I block his attempts while sealing off chakra points, and I found house kick him in the face once I finish and he goes head first into the wall, getting knocked out.

"Wow." Is all Hayate says as I deactivate my Byakugan. "Tsubaki Hyuga wins." Hayate says as I go back up the stairs.

"Good job Tsubaki." Sensei says to me with a smirk.

I nod in thanks and I watch the fight, up until Hinata and Neji.

I watch, very worried.

"Tsubaki, are you ok?" Sensei asks, probably seeing my face change.

"I don't like this match up." I say and Sensei nods.

I watch as they start to fight, and Hina doesn't back down, she keeps getting up and I watch her, really worried.

Please forfeit Hina, he's way too out of your league, he'll kill you!

The match almost gets called as Hina lies on the ground, but she gets up again and my heart hurts.

The sensei's stop Neji as I jump down to my sister who falls.

I catch her and she coughs up blood. "Hina, hey, hey, Hina." I say to her, worried, and Kurenai joins my side immediately.

"She's going into cardiac arrest." Kurenai says to me.

I look at my sister, increasingly getting worried. "Medic!" I yell and they run over fast.

They take her to the hospital as I follow.

I pass the twins as I follow my sister.

"Tsubaki?" Hiroko asks confused but he sees Hina.

I wait outside the operatoring room for a long time with Kurenai.

I pace, really worried about my sister.

Hina, please, please, please, please, please, be ok.

"She's going to be ok Tsubaki, please sit down." Kurenai says to me.

Father gets here as well, and sees me just pacing, still injured, but not like I care about myself.

The doctors come out after a while longer, and they look at us.

"She's going to live." The doctor says to us.

I stop immediately. "Oh thank god." I whisper and I sit down, relief coursing through me.

"But its gonna take her a while to recover." The doctor continues.

"As long as she lives, that's all that matters." I say to him and he nods.

"She won't be leaving the hospital for a while, she's too weak at the moment." The doctor finishes. "Tsubaki, somebody needs to look at your injuries as well." The doctor says to me.

"I know." I say to him, I get up and follow him to another room and he takes a look at my injuries and cleans them properly and I just wince.

Once he's finished, he takes a look at my eyes.

"You should avoid using your byakugan for at least a week and no strenuous exercises either." The doctor says to me.

"Alright." I say and I leave the room and I head straight to Hina's room.

I sit down next to her bed, and I just keep an eye on her, worried.

Father comes in and looks at us.

"Don't lecture me right now, I can't handle it at the moment." I say to Father quietly before he speaks.

"If your going to the third round, it starts in a month." Father says to me.

I just stare at Hina. "I won my fight, so I'm going." I say to him and Father nods.

"Tsubaki!" The twins push their way into the room, worried, and they see Father and freeze.

"Quiet down a little." I say to the twins.

"Tsubaki, is Hinata ok?" Shino asks walking in behind them.

I nod. "She's going to be ok." I say and he nods.

The twins join my side as I look at Hina.

After a couple hours, visiting hours are over but only one person is aloud to stay.

"I'm going to stay with my sister." I say to the nurse and she nods.

"Your going to stay all night?" Kurenai asks shocked.

"She's my sister, I'm going to stay with her." I say to Kurenai and she nods.

She ushers her team out along with everyone else.

Kurenai gives me one last look before leaving, and I just read my medical book and after a while, I start to get sleepy.

I put the book down and I rest my arms on the side of the bed, and I fall asleep, watching Hina.

"Please wake up soon." I whisper.

Hours later

I feel a hand on my head and I just get more comfortable.

"Tsubaki." Sensei whispers to me.

I slowly open my eyes to see Hina still sleeping, but Sensei is next to me.

I look up at Sensei and he gives me a soft smile.

"Come on, you should go home." Sensei whispers.

"No, I want to stay with Hina, I'm not gonna be in a house with our father if she's not with me." I mumble quietly.

"Tsubaki, that sleeping position has to hurt." Sensei says to me.

"I'll be fine." I say to him and Sensei sighs.

"Then I guess I'll stay with you tonight." Sensei says to me and sits in another chair.

I just rest my head in my arms, and I drift in between conscious and unconsciousness.

Something warm is draped over me and I see it to be a blanket before I fall asleep again.
