Chapter 5

The Next Morning - Tsubaki's POV

I walk out of my room in my normal clothes and I stretch and I head to the backyard.

I start my regular training for the day.

After a while, I take a break and I noticed Father watching me.

I nod in greeting. "Hello Father." I greet.

"Good afternoon Tsubaki." Father greets back. "You need to refine your chakra more and come up with a different stance, you'll hurt your foot if you continue using that stance, especially with how much you move around." Father says to me and he leaves.

"Thanks for telling me I'm doing everything wrong." I say and I see some tea left by Hinata. "Thanks Hina." I say as I take a cup and I drink my tea.

Once I've finished my tea, I get up and I do some stretches to loosen myself up and then I get back to training.

I place my right foot across my left foot and I put my left arm forward with my palm facing out, but upside down, and I bend my other arm under my left arm, with my palm out, but right side up, I bend my body a bit as I stare at the nonexistent person in front of me.

I push off my left foot and I turn and strike air and I turn and land with my legs apart, and my arms in my default position.

I stand there, breathing a bit heavier as I stare forward, completely lost in how I could perfect that.

The next thing I hear is clapping and I hear the word youth.

I put my arms down and I look over to Neji and his team. "What are you three doing here? And watching me?" I ask them.

"We came to get Neji, and Lee saw you training and was curious." Tenten says to me.

I nod and I relax a bit. "Well its just mistakes right now." I say and Tenten nods, interested.

"You need to loosen your shoulders up a bit, bend your knees some more and it'll be more fluent." Neji says to me and I look at him surprised. "We've been watching since this morning." Neji says with a sigh.

"YOUR SO YOUTHFUL FOR TRAINING ON YOUR DAY OFF!" Lee yells with passion and fire in his eyes.

I tilt my head to the side, very unsure of what he's talking about, but I just nod anyways.

"Ok then." I say as I nod my head at Lee who keeps going on and on and Tenten laughs amused while Neji looks annoyed.

"Lee, shut up." Neji says to him and Lee nods.

"Well! She's so youthful! For training after discouraging words!" Lee says to Neji.

I scratch the back of my neck and Tenten stands next to me.

"We should get going." Tenten says to Neji and Lee.

"Ah, right! We have our own training!" Lee says shocked and he grabs the two and starts running.

I look at them, so confused, but I shake my head.

I do as Neji suggested and it does make my movements more fluent.

I stand there shocked. "Wow, thanks Neji." I say surprised and I keep training with that and I notice this stance is putting less strain on my feet.

After two or so hours, I take another break and I see Hanabi and Father watching me on the porch.

"Wow." Hanabi says shocked.

I move some of my hair out of my face as I try to regulate my breathing again.

"That looked better than this morning, but your not using your chakra." Father says to me as I walk over.

I look at them both calmly and I nod in greeting. "Hello to you both as well." I say to them. "I'm not using chakra because I'd rather work on my chairs refinement tomorrow with my team and Sensei." I say to Father.

"Your movements are so fluent for that stance, I thought for sure you were going to fall." Hanabi says to me.

I look at her, just a little amused, but other wise I'm pretty calm about this. "I'm still developing it, but I can thank Neji for a few tips he gave me." I say with a small shrug and I walk towards the door, done for now because I'm getting hungry.

"Neji?" Father asks confused.

"His team came to get him and they passed me and saw I was training, Neji told me to loosen up my shoulders and bend my knees a bit." I say and Father nods and I head inside.

I head to my room and I shower and change into a white t-shirt and black leggings with my village headband around my neck, while my hair is braided to the side.

I leave the Hyuga grounds and I put my hands behind my back as I walk around, wondering what I feel like eating.

"Hey Tsubaki!" Kiba calls and I look over to see him and Akamaru.

I wave. "What's up?" I ask as he walks over.

"Have you seen your sister or Shino? I was ditched." Kiba asks me.

I shake my head. "I just got finished training for the day, I haven't seen my sister at all." I say and Kiba pouts. "I can help you look though." I add.

"You can?" Kiba asks me shocked.

I nod. "I have the Byakugan as well, remember?" I remind Kiba and he nods.

"This is great, thanks Tsubaki." Kiba says to me and I nod.

I activate my Byakugan and I look around. "Ah, they're by Hokage mansion." I say and and Kiba nods.

"Thanks Tsubaki!" He yells as he runs off.

"You welcome." I reply as I shake my head, deactivating my Byakugan.

I head to Ichiraku's and I see the twins there with their Mom. "Good Evening." I greet as I walk in.

The twins choke as Ayame smiles.

"T-Tsubaki?" Hiroko asks shocked.

"Hey, I have to eat at some point too." I say and their mother laughs in amusement as I sit down next to them.

"So your Tsubaki Hyuga, my boys won't stop talking about you." Their mother says to me with a smile.

I look at her, a little surprised. "Well I should say I'm not surprised, but these two talk about anything, anytime they want." I say and their mother nods amused.

"Your usual then, Tsubaki?" Ayame asks me.

"Yes please." I say to her and she nods and gets to work.

"I hope my boys aren't causing you any trouble?" Mrs. Amano asks me.

I shake my head. "No, they aren't, though they can be a little stupid when it comes to food." I say and the twins just sit there, embarrassed.

"C-Come on you two! Stop it!" They say to us, very embarrassed and flushed.

I smile amused and my bowl gets put in front of me.

I break my chopsticks. "Thank you for the food." I say and I started eating, just at my normal pace, and Mrs. Amano watches as I finish the bowl within 2 minutes.

The twins just grin in amusement. "Naruto will meet his match." Hiroko says to me.

I sweat drop. "May I have another?" I ask Ayame.

"Of course." Ayame says to me with a smile.

"Ah, so this is where my team is." Sensei says outside.

"Good evening Sensei." I greet as he walks in.

"Good evening Tsubaki." Sensei says to me with a smile and the twins stare at him shocked as he sits next to me.

Ayame places my bowl in front of me and gets to work on Sensei's.

"Well I was thinking about what to do with you three with your training, so we'll just be doing training tomorrow." Sensei says to us as I eat my noodles.

"Forget Naruto, Choji would havea hard time with Tsubaki." Hiroto says with a sweat drop as I drink my broth, just eating at my normal pace.

"What time do we arrive tomorrow then, Sensei?" I ask him.

"Just the normal time." Sensei says to me with a smile as a bowl gets placed in front of him and Ayame gets me another bowl.

"Right, Sensei, I was thinking I could learn how to refine my chakra." I say to him.

"You could learn Medical Nin-Jutsu then, is this to help with your gentle fist attacks?" Sensei asks me and I nod. "Then you should learn Medical Nin-Jutsu, it takes a lot of precision to heal, and you'd learn how to refine your chakra that way, but it is hard to learn." Sensei warns me.

"Ok." I say with a nod.

"No excitement at all." Mrs. Amano says with a sweat drop.

"She's pretty serious." Hiroko says to her and I finish my third bowl.

"And she's a glutton." Hiroto adds.

"I can hear you." I say to the twins and they freeze. "Its fine." I say with a small wave of my hand and Ayame places another bowl in front of me.

"This is your fourth bowl." Ayame says to me amused.

"I haven't eaten anything today, I've been training since I woke up." I say and Sensei sweat drops.

"You realize you had the day off, right?" Sensei asks me.

I nod. "You do realize who my father is, right?" I ask Sensei.

"Is he that strict?" Hiroko asks me.

I shrug. "He'd just call me lazy and give me this very long lecture about how I should be training so I could get as good as my little sister, and then I'd have to train." I say and the twins stare at me shocked. I shrug. "That's how it is, living in the main branch, me and Hinata don't get breaks." I say to the twins.

"Well, I admire you for doing some training even though it wasn't planned." Sensei says to me with a smile and I finish my fourth bowl.

"Alright! Thats it!" Hiroto yells and I look at him confused. "You!" Hiroto accuses me of I don't know what.

"I'm so confused." I say nervously.

Everybody but me and Hiroto laugh.

"I'm gonna be a better ninja than you!" Hiroto says to me.

"Is that all?" I ask and Hiroto nods. "Ok, you do that." I say to Hiroto as I get off my stool and I pay for my bowls. "I should head back tomorrow, see you tomorrow, and it was nice to meet you Mrs. Amano." I say to them with a small wave as I walk out backwards.

"Gah!" Hiroto yells frustrated.

I put my hands behind my back as I start heading back to my home.

"Tsubaki." Shino greets as he walks up next to me.

"Shino, Hina, Kiba." I greet them.

"T-Tsubaki, you finished training?" Hinata asks me quietly.

"For today." I say to her and she nods. "Pretty quiet without Naruto, isn't it?" I ask the three.

Hinata's face goes red and Kiba smirks at that. "K-Kinda." Hinata stutters, nervous.

"Well, he'll be back in no time, but I'm jealous, his time got a C-Rank!" Kiba rants annoyed.

"So did mine." I say to Kiba and he looks at me shocked. "It sort of ended well?" I say it more like a question as I look up at the night sky. "I ended up staring down a giant tiger." I say and Kiba stares at me shocked.

"I-I'm not suprised." Hinata says quietly.

"A giant tiger?" Shino asks in his monontone voice.

"Yeah." I say while nodding my head.

I notice I'm on the wrong path.

"Hey! This is the wrong way! I was going home!" I protest and Kiba and Hinata laugh as I huff and shake my head.

I go home by myself, a little annoyed I didn't realize that I was going the wrong way.

I get back and I sit in the backyard, in the tree, just watching the stars for a bit, and Hanabi joins me with a little trouble, but I hold my hand out for her, and she takes my hand hesitantly, and I pull her up.

"Wow." Hanabi says as she looks at the stars, completely shocked.

I smile slightly as I watch the stars. "The stars are always there, even during the day, the sun just out shines them during the day, but the moon, the moon shares the sky with all those stars." I say to Hanabi and she nods.

"Isn't the moon a rock that reflects the sun light though?" Hanabi asks me.

I nod. "It is, you don't usually see the moon during the day though. But at night, you can see it clearly. And all those stars, they're actually suns as well, but they're not in our galaxy, but you can see them anyways." I say to Hanabi and she nods. "And shooting stars are meteors which are giant rocks, about half the size of a small moon, but they have their own orbit in our galaxy. But its ok to wish on them, who knows, maybe they'll grant your wish." I say to Hanabi who smiles.

"Your gonna be like the moon, aren't you?" Hanabi asks me.

"And in what way?" I ask Hanabi.

"You'll help people see others light, that's what the moon does, right?" Hanabi asks me.

I pat her head with a small smile. "Right." I say and Hanabi smiles.

"I hope your not filling your sisters head with nonsense, Tsubaki." Father says at the base of the tree.

I look down at him. "I'm just teaching her a bit about the stars." I say and Father shakes his head.

"Come on, Hanabi." Father says to her and she nods and I help her down and she follows Father inside.

I sit down on the branch again and I stare up at the stars.
