-AUTHOR's POV-

As we left off, the devil hunters were in a tight situation against the bear devil, the bear they were no match against the bear devil and were close to be beaten...but by the time the bear devil approaches closer to Himeno, it began to smell her sense, and smelled not threatening at all, nor she and the others didn't seem like problems. So he backs away slowly as Aki Denji and Power arrive with Himeno in battle stances, and to see the bear devil slowly melting, his fur began to shed too, and shrank a little and to run into a human, and therefore we see that the person who was the bear devil all this time was none other than (YN), who happens to grow more older, 21 years, and has matured as well, and to happen to seem almost naked with just shorts on him...and Himeno was surprised...

Himeno Mind: So...He's a devil all this time..

(YN): So..you guys aren't hunters?

Denji: Huh?? Fuck are you saying, of course we are!

(YN): Tch, then I should kill you four then!

Denji: Well come at us then, bitch!

Power: Yes, and you shall taste defeat once again!

Aki: Hold it idiots!

Denji/Power: Awww.

Aki: And you...what do you mean by "We aren't hunters"?

(YN): Jeez you don't know what a hunter is? What a dumbass.

Aki: What?!

Himeno: Hehe, I'll take care of this...ahem, listen here "friend", what my partner here is saying is that what Hunters did you specifically meant?

(YN): ...You know, those hunters that carry weapons, rifles, hunting for animals here...especially for me of course.

Himeno: Ahh, now I see what you meant. Well, don't worry, we aren't like those hunters, I mean we are, but different, we're more like Devil Hunters.

(YN): ..Devil Hunters?

Aki: Thats right, Devil Hunters like us work for the Public Safety.

Himeno: We take it upon ourselves to fight against Devils whenever a threat related to them should arise in the world.

(YN): So...you four are coming after me then?

Himeno: ...I'm afraid so.

Denji: Yeah! So don't try to fight back and we'll kill you nice and slow!

Power: That's right!

Aki: ..In a less way of not saying it idiotically, we have to take you down for good.

Himeno: Apologies...but business is business.

(YN) stood there with his arms crossed to hear that the devil hunters were here to find and kill him cause he's a devil, and devil hunters like Himeno and her partners that kill devils and working for the public safety environment...so, he responds...

(YN): Okay.

Himeno: Wait what??

Denji/Power: Ehhh?!?

Aki: ...

(YN): I said Okay. If you guys are after me cause I'm a devil, then go for it...

He then slowly open his arms wide...

(YN): I won't move a muscle, so...just do it already.

Himeno: ...

Himeno suddenly felt...bad to see a devil like (YN), just to surrender that fast and just accepting his fate, she can see through his eyes were nothing but dead, and just tired, even Aki Denji and Power couldn't believe it too...

Denji: ...Geez, I don't know what to feel here, either feel happy to take this win, or feel bad for the bastard.

Power: Well I don't care about his pitiful filth! He must be eliminated!

Aki: ...Don't listen to him Himeno, he's just trying to save his skin and flee away-

Himeno: Hold on a sec.

Aki: Himeno?

Himeno approaches to (YN) up close, (YN) then felt a little uncomfortable when she got close to him, but then, Himeno grabs and holds both of his harms and looks straight into his eyes. (YN) then suddenly felt...timid, not just Himeno is close to his face, but the fact she was holding his hands...

(YN) Mind: This chick...she's really close, and...she looks hot..!

Himeno: Not all devils surrender that easily, trust me, but...you're the first one. So...why?

(YN): O-Oh...well, it's just that...I don't have nothing part of my life...well, used to...I had this pet who was...my very first friend. His name was Cub...he was a baby bear...he and I were best friends during the years I've grown here...but things change until those hunters came and shot my friend...and me.

Himeno: ...

(YN): At first I thought we were gonna die...but I was wrong, we lived...well I did, and he sort of lived too.

Himeno: ..Then, where is he?

(YN): ...In my body.

Himeno: He's...inside of you??

(YN): Yeah...he's my heart. The last words he's told me...was to follow your dream, and that was to keep on living my life.

And now it adds up for Himeno, she now knows that the baby bear (YN) considered it as a friend pet was a devil...and is now merge with (YN)...Aki Denji and Power heard his story too...

Power: I say this is load of crap.

Denji slaps Power behind her head...

Power: Ow! What gives Denji?!

Denji: Shut it Power. Hey you.

Denji then walks up to Himeno and (YN) and looks at him...

Denji: What you said about having a pet friend...I had one too.

(YN): You did?

Denji: Yeah, her name was Pochita, she was a devil, and my pet...and my best friend. She saved my life and turn herself into my own heart...and she's with me, in here. That's how I turn into that chainsaw man when we had our fight.

(YN): Yea, I did.

Denji: ..I even had a dream too, and she wanted me to keep chasing my dream as well.

(YN): ..Guess you and I both have something in common then.

Denji: Seems that way.

Power: Ugh! Enough of this! What are we doing? Should we slay this mere devil?

Aki: ...Himeno?

Himeno stares at (YN) for a sec, which made him gently blush a little just the way she's looking at him...she still was holding his hands, and to smile and to say...

Himeno: No, we're not. Cause I'm taking him with me.

Aki: ..You sure?

Himeno: Oh I'm sure.

(YN): Wait. What's going on?

Himeno: What's going on is that I'm taking you with me, and not only that...you'll be working with me and these guys too, and you'll be my partner. And besides...you got a lot more to live on your life

(YN) didn't know how to respond to that, all he can do is feel...happy the fact he has found some new friends, and not just that, Himeno was the one that wanted to take him with her and be her partner...and that make him wanting to keep living his life...

Aki: If that's the case, I don't mind at all, since we already have two idiotic devils on our team, but how are we gonna tell this to Makima?

Himeno: Please, she let Denji live and have him join with us, even Power too, so why not I do? Besides...er, what's your .. name?

(YN): It's..(YN).

Himeno: (YN)...well, I'm sure she won't mind I have (YN) join with us, besides, he will come in handy.

Aki: ..Suit yourself then.

Himeno: Then it's settled. Guess our job here is done. Come on (YN).

(YN): O-Okay..

With that said, Himeno and the rest take (YN) with them and have him join him as part of the Public Safety Devil Hunters...Denji then wraps his arm around him...

Denji: Well then, since you're with us, I guess we'll get along pretty well then, hehe, the names Denji!

Power: And you can call me the all mighty Power!

Denji: Don't listen to her, just call her Power.

Power: Naye! Must define my name, Denji!

Denji: Thats a long ass name!

Power and Denji started arguing with each other like couple of kids, as Himeno slows down and walks with (YN)...

Himeno: Thats how they are.

(YN): ..I can tell...so, who's that one?

Himeno: Up front? That's Aki. He's differnet, he can be...serious and not much of a friend person when you get to know him.

(YN): Mm.

Himeno: Also...the names Himeno, nice to meet ya, (YN).

-(YN)'s POV-

Himeno...man, she sure is pretty. I don't know why...but I got this weird feeling, when she held my hands, and looked at me with that one eye of hers...I wonder what happen to the other that is covered up...but doesn't matter, the way she looked at me made me feel...oddly comfortable. I don't know why...but...I want to feel it again whatever she did...
Hear that Cub, guess she's right, I have more a lot to live with my life, just like you said.
